Flying for fun

Kasey thought of a change for her today's schedule. She wanted to fly instead of being stuck up in her dorm and read for her OWLs. She smiled as her mind allowed her that she was free to fly for half day and then complete her homework later. She dressed up in her sporty red clothes and tied her hair into a pony.

She grabbed her firebolt and mounted it. Opening her dormitory window, she dived through it. The cool fresh air, blew threw her face and hair as a smile came upon her face. It usually did when she flew in this manner. Her dive was a sharp one, a steep gradient and then finally she braked her firebolt as she reached the Qudditch pitch. She looked at the morning sun, it was nice and shiny and there were no clouds in the sky. That is good for flying, she thought as she started to make her first lap around the pitch.

Dannii woke up that morning with last nights halloween feast in mind. It had been so much fun. Now she wanted to have even more fun so she dressed in an orange sweater and green pants. She grabbed her moon trimmer and headed down to the pitch.

Once she was down there she hopped on her broom and went as fast and as high as she could go. She loved the wind running through her hair. Just then she saw someone below her wearing red. She slowed down and went over to fly beside the person, "hey" she said looking at the girl. "I have that sweater too" she added, "Im dannii by the way"

Kasey smiled at the girl who had just come to fly beside her. "That's nice to know" she said with a grin. "We may dress up as twins for next halloween" she joked although she realized that the joke had been lame. "I am Kasey" she introduced herself to the younger girl.

Having noticed the girl' speed she guessed she played for her house. "Do you play Qudditch?"she asked her looking forward for some challenging flying this morning. Stating by the looks of the girl, Kasey could make out she was a first year and so she thought it wouldn't be much of a challange but she didn't mind flying for fun.
