Jacob had no clue who this person was, so finding her had proven difficult. He'd already looked a couple of places and had not had luck. So popping outside was more for him though he did plan to search slightly as he did. "Hey, do you happen to know a girl named Winnie?" Jacob asked a guy who happened to be walking towards him.

Valentine's day was meant to be romantic, and Winnie had headed to the lakefront to make the most of it and read a book, optimistic her prince charming might strike up a conversation with her, sweep her off her feet, and that she would finally have a date to the valentine's dance. Unfortunately no one had approached her, and instead she was made to approach none other than Jacob Kingsley who was asking around for 'a girl named Winnie'. Rolling her eyes, Winnie closed her book and walked over to the boy, expecting whatever interaction she had with him to be terrible. From what Diana had told her, he was awful and Winnie did not want to deal with him more than she had to. "I'm Winnie. What's up?" She said, trying to be polite but really wanting to get this over with so she could return to her book.

"You are?" he asked, feeling like smacking his head when he saw the girl approach. Of course he knew her. Well, he knew her hair from that one class where he'd sat behind her. Jacob was still shaking his head at himself as he rummaged around for her yellow flower. "So this is for you, note too" he looked back up at her as he gathered both in his hands and held them out.

Dear Winnie

I LOVE YOU! Besties for LIFE!

Love DOMI!!!!!

Winnie tried to stay polite, ignoring the fact Jacob didn't know who she was. Not that it mattered, she really just wanted to avoid him and was more interested in the rose and note he held out to her more than anything else. She accepted the flower and quickly read the note, hoping it would be from a boy despite the colour being yellow. It unfortunately wasn't sent by a boy and was from Domi instead, but Winnie wasn't disappointed. In fact Winnie was pleased her friend thought to send her a rose and had written a special note for her, even if it wasn't exactly what she wanted. She could at least use the flower as a bookmark for the rest of the day. Looking up from the rose and to Jacob again, Winnie uttered a quick "Great, thanks," before she began to turn on her heels and walk away from him.

"You're welcome" Jacob muttered back before turning on his heels and heading back towards the castle. He still had a bunch of roses to deliver.
