Still wearing his Halloween attire, Jeremiah followed Ai down the lower floors of the castle, and into the dungeons under the lake. it became obvious that these halls were built under the lake, as the walls were slightly damp, and the air was cooler than other areas of the castle. The Gryffindor tugged on his collar, and pulled it upwards, before removing his mouth mask to make his voice clearer once he found Ai. He approached her quietly, and very carefully. He had to speak with her, to explain his actions to her. He was not sure if she would understand why he kissed Taylor, especially since they both knew very well that Taylor and Conan were all but engaged or something along those lines, and Ai, being Conan's sister, may find that hard to deal with. Even if they hated each other. Conan's fear had been Ai being injured, so it could have been the same deal with Ai. Knowing he had hurt his beautiful best friend was the only thing he regretted about his actions. Otherwise, he was quite happy to have ruined Conan's evening.

"Ai?" he attempted to look at her, but the light made it difficult. "I'm sorry you had to see that." He wasn't sorry for his actions, and never would be, but he was sorry she witnessed them. He was not about to lie to her.

Ai had cramped herself up to the corner of a dungeon cell and hoped she wouldn't be seen nor found, but that seemed to be a pretty far-fetched wish. Why is it that her wishes were never granted when she needed them? She wished for her brother; they only got worse with time. She wished Heath and her would continue being happy; they broke up. She wished that Miah would never leave and stay by her; he liked Taylor. And now, it was a simple enough wish. She wished to be alone. Alone like she always had been whenever she faced these towering problems and the pain they brought her. Normally, she would have found the Gryffindor's presence comforting, but right now in was just painful. As if the gods were mocking her, insulting her, testing her when she would break. Well, they didn't have to wait long that's for sure because everything was just too painful to bear on the shoulders of a seventeen-year-old girl. Yes. That's all she was underneath all those titles. She was not some professional flyer because of her Quidditch Captain status. She was not some great female leader and politician because of her status in Heta Omega. And she was not the best student because of her Head Girl status. What she was is a seventeen-year-old orphan girl who had lost everything.

Ai continued to sink in further against the wall as she cried silently. The flowers on her hair were long gone as she had thrown it away whilst she ran to the dungeons. Her make-up was screwed as tears flowed freely from her face that she couldn't afford to stop. One of her shoes was already non-existent somewhere in the dungeons. And then her white dress was no longer as pure white as they had been when the party started with moss, mud, dirt and dust clinging all over it. She was a mess just like how her life has been. Over and over again, she had been hurt and she doesn't even learn. How much of an idiot could she be really? And then soon, Miah just had to arrive and try to talk to her though it had only made her sink further into the corner as humanely possible. She didn't want to see him or talk to him. Not after that. And not because she was mad at him, but rather she was mad at herself for making herself believe that she had a chance. And now he was apologizing to her? How much more painful could this get? She couldn't believe this was happening to her right now. Why did the gods even curse her? She would never know. "Don't come near me. I don't want you to see me," she muttered through silent cries and sobs, though thanks to the closed stone walls of the dungeons, she was sure he would have heard her soft voice.
