Open Finding a Balance

Marley was glad to be back at school, she was glad to be seeing her friends again and getting back to the swing of things when it came to classes. She knew that this year was going to be a bit of a challenge. She had OWLs this year, so she knew she had to focus on that this year. But this year also had given Marley a couple more responsibilities than she anticipated. She not only had the responsibility of being Prefect this year, but she also had the responsibility of being a quidditch co-captain for her quidditch team. Which she was quite pleased about. Marley knew she had to find a balance of balancing all these responsibilities as well as also making time for her friends. The Hufflepuff sat in the student lounge, deciding to get started on some homework and some study, if she did this now for a bit, maybe she'd be able to hang with her friends a little later.

Oskar felt strange every time he returned to Hogwarts, like it was some kind of dream. But this year it was starting to feel more solid and since he wasn't leaving anytime soon and since his father obviously wasn't coming to get him, he'd have to live in this reality. A reality that would probably be improved upon if he actually made some friends. He walked into the student lounge with the intention to study but paused when he saw a girl from his year, who he was fairly certain was named Marley. Tentatively he approached her. "Mind if I join you?" he asked softly.
