Sam sent owls out to each and everyone of his friends. He had seen them all seperatelty except Hoshi, he just pressumed that she was showing her brother the ropes of the school. But they haven't all been together yet since Hoshi's birthday and really, they couldn't talk all that much in the Borely Mansion. At two o clock Sam made his way down to the lawn wearing a leather jacket, a white t-shirt, a pair of jeans and had sunglasses on. He was that bit taller and broader from the summer and had his hair in its signature way which now was spiked.

The day was a beautiful spring day. The sun was shining, there was clear blue skies and a warm breeze was filtering the air. Before Sam left the castle he grabbed a few butterbeers in the kitchens, he knew all of his friends loved them and the houselves were more than happy to help him out. Sam placed them on the grass next to him and he sat up against a tree and waited for his friends to come and join him. Sam was glad they were finally doing this together, he hoped they could all come. Especially Toni he thought. No, stop thinking that now. Just act normal around her. Avoid her gaze if you must! He thought to himself hurriedly, he couldn't let anyone know about these feelings he was having, Taylor was already onto him that there was a girl but she didn't know who. He hoped she wouldn't mention it today. Yeah. Avoid all forms of eye contact but don't make it obvious. Sam hoped that Toni wouldn't be the first to arrive, now that would be awkward.

Taylor got ready, glad that her and her friends were finally getting together. It had been too long. Deciding it was a warm beautiful day, Taylor put on a green dress and checked the time. It was only 1:00 and they had agreed to meet at 2:00, so Taylor decided to straighten her naturally wavy hair.

One last quick glanced, Taylor threw on some sunnies and made her way down to the lawn, anticipating meeting all her friends. She hadnt spoken to Toni or Hoshi at all sinse being back at school. Plus time with Scorpius was always good.

After a very large amount of stairs, she was walking down to the lawn, only seeing Sam there. "Hey Sam." She said with a grin as she hugged her friend. The last time she had seen him she had been convinced there was something going on with him and a girl, but he wouldnt share details. She still had her suspicions, but had decided to drop the subject for Sam's sake.

Toni had gotten the owl from Sam and really couldn't be more excited. Though at the same time her excitement seemed to be overrun with those butterflies that had take residence in her stomach only fluttering about when she saw Sam, talked to Sam, or even thought about Sam. What is wrong with me? she thought as she got ready for the day ahead of her staring into the mirror.

Today she had to be perfect. Throwing on her yellow sundress with bulky white necklace and white flip flops. Though she added a cropped jean jacket over the dress so that she could keep warm. Brushing her hair brush through her hair which today was pin straight. "Okay" she said finally as she flashed a smile in the mirror's direction almost practicing her smile for when she saw Sam.

Leaving the Slytherin common room, Toni walked towards the lawn. As she saw two shapes there, she noticed it was both Taylor and Sam. "Hey" She said happily seeing the two. Be normal She thought hoping that she wasn't acting odd in any fashion. Taylor would catch on right away. Wouldn't she? Most girls were good with that sort of thing. "I haven't seen you in forever Taylor" Toni said flashing Taylor a smile trying to calm the butterflies that seemed to appear in her stomach once more as she flashed a smile in Sam's direction.

Sam got up when he saw Taylor, "Hey!" He said happily and hugged her back. Once he released her from the hug he smiled to her. He was glad it was Taylor who came first not Toni but as a wave of relief washed over him Toni arrived. He got those butterflies in his stomach again and his heart raced.Chill he told himself. Be cool. "Hi." He said with a smile to her. Okay that was good acting. Sam thought happily to himself he shoved his hands in his jeans pocket and avoided looking at Toni, "Hey are your houses also having Quidditch Try-Outs?" He asked them openly though only looked a Taylor. "Knight said that Ravenclaw were having theres soon." He told them. He really hoped Hufflepuff would have there soon.

Taylor turned when Toni arrived. "Hey!" She said with a smile and shook her head with a somewhat incredulous expression on her face. It had just occured to Taylor that the last time she had seen Toni with just them two was up in the North Tower. Not the best meeting, if Taylor was being honest. "I know right?" She said, agreeing with Toni's statement.

She turned back to Sam as he mentioned Quidditch. "Yeah, ours are soon aswell. Im definatly trying it." She beamed. She couldnt wait, Aeon had just told her about them and they were going to go try out together. She knew they might be the only second year Gryffindors trying out, Taylor didnt want to feel intimidated by the older students and neither did Aeon. "Are you guys trying out?" She questioned, looking from Sam then back to Toni.

Toni tried to bring her gaze only to Taylor. It seemed to be the only way she wouldn't do or say something completely stupid. Focusing on the conversation at hand, Toni thought about the last time she had seen Taylor. In the North Tower after Beau left. Wow that wasn't the best circumstances. Hopefully these would be better.

As the topic of quidditch was brought up Toni tried to think if she had heard anything about the Slytherin tryouts. "I don't even know who the quidditch captian is" Toni said letting a small laugh escape. "I hope the tryouts come soon because now that we are all second years we can try out" She said a hint of excitement in her voice her eyes flickering over to Sam briefly as she began to twirl her hair bringing her attention back to Taylor. "I don't even know what position I would try out for but I would try out" Toni went on Probably keeper or seeker she thought not seeing how she would be decent in any other spot. As always she could try.

Toni gazed around the lawn avoiding looking at Sam all together. She noticed the butterbeer and a small smile fell on her lips. Did Sam bring it? For some reason if he did it made butterbeer so much better. Even if that concept or logic made no sense.

One of the biggest smiles Sam could muster was now on his face. Gryffindor was also trying out which mean't that there might be a Quidditch season planned! "I am going to try-out though ours haven't been dated yet..but when they are I will defintely be trying." Sam said glad he could said 'when they are..' instead of 'if they are..'

Sam shot a glance over at Toni as she laughed, he loved her laugh but he remembered his promise and looked away once more. As Toni said she didn't know which position she was trying out for Sam said making sure to be normal, "I think I'll try out for chaser. Its my strongest position. What about you Taylor what position are you trying out for?" He said making sure to keep his gaze on Taylor and only Taylor.

[Whoops]

Taylor grinned and nodded as Toni and Sam explained what position they would try out for. She became aware that most of the attention was being placed on her and that Sam and Toni only shot quick glances at each other. Was the Gossip Magazine telling the truth? Or had they had a fight or something. Either way, Taylor decided to let it slide, maybe Taylor was just being over concious about the gaze staying on her.

"I'm hoping the Seeker position is available." She said eagerly, if that failed she couldnt be sure which position she would take. Maybe Keeper, after she had to play that position when everyone met up for Quidditch she had been strangely better at it than she had remembered. Maybe her Dad's genes had finally kicked in.

Toni smiled slightly trying to stay as normal as possible as they all talked about quidditch something that was always a safe topic for their group. It always had been even first year and even the first time they all met up. "Let's just hope not many of the olders years are trying out" Toni said knowing that she probably wouldn't be too grand against the older students that had much more practice than this young Slytherin.

As Toni dropped the piece of hair she was twirling, the smile seemed to be plastered on her face as a way to prove that everything was ok. Really that was her defense when she was idea not all completely perfect, her smile was always on that face of hers. "So who all is coming?" Toni asked guessing that it was probably Hoshi and Knight coming as well. Though if it was just the three of them than it may be more odd for all of them including Taylor. "I mean if they take too long I'm going to have to break out the butterbeer before they arrive" Toni said letting out a small laugh. Why do you always have to be so lame. The voice in her head said knowing quite well that Toni couldn't think of much to say. Her mind seemed to be fried as of now just because she was concentrating so much on being normal, on her acting skills.

Sam nodded in agreement with Toni though he didn't say anything and he looked down at his feet. He really hoped that a lot of new transfer students wouldn't try out they may even have expierence from their school that may play as an advantage over them. Second Yeaes.

As Toni asked who was coming he braved to look up at her, "Scorpius and Hoshi." he said simply, "Though...I don't think we'll be expecting Scorpius anytime soon." He said with a small laugh which was quite casual when in fact his insides were jumping wildly. He then smiled as Toni commented about the butterbeer. "Yeah I brought them down from the kitchens...I am tempted to take some too." He said light-heartedly. Avoiding Toni's gaze and Taylors, Sam looked up towards the castle just for something to do. He was pretending to see if there was any sign of Knight or Hoshi when in fact so many thoughts were rushing through his head he wasn't seeing anything.

[Wow, when I created the Gossip Magazine I was completely making the whole Toni/Sam thing up, but it looks like I was right after all! =)) ]

Scorpius had received Sam's owl invitation for them all to meet up on the lawn at two o'clock that day. The problem was, as always, that Scorpius lost track of time. He had been in his dorm room throwing on his checkered shirt over a white shirt he was wearing and his grey eyes glanced up at the clock to see that he was about ten minutes late. He groaned lightly as he shook his head but shoved on his converse and ran all the way down the steps from the Ravenclaw tower. He had forgotten about one of the moving staircases so he ended up on the wrong side of the floor than he wanted to but was still able to get out the entrance hall, still adding time to his tardiness.

When he finally reached their group he noticed Sam, Toni, and Taylor - Hoshi was still missing, so at least he wasn't the last one like always. "Hey guys," he said grinning at them. "Sorry I'm late," he added with an eye roll. He really needed to get a watch, perhaps at the next Brightstone opening.

[You should have asked Hoshi then. She knew all along that thies two where going to get back together. Not that she's enterly happy about it]

Hoshi was the last one out because she was dealing with other things. One of them the threat of beeing expeled after her and her brother's last escepade. It got Hoshi thinking that she hadn't done anything with her friends as of yet. She was waring a black, white and cream outfitwith a bow that matched in her hair. She looked kind of cute but kind of off putting like she always made herself out to be.

She saw that her friends where there already and smiled wide. She put a hand on Knight's shoulder. She could reach in her high heeled trainers even though she was still shorter than everyone that was here. "Looks like I'm the last to the party. Hey everyone." She said with her wide super star grin. It wasn't until she got here that she realized how much she had missed her friends.

Taylor listened to Sam and Toni talk about Butterbeer, her gaze flicking to the supply Sam had brought down.

She turned her head at a familiar voice. "Surprise surprise. Your not the last to arrive." She said, grinning at her always late boyfriend, but giving him a hug regardless. When she pulled back she noticed Hoshi had joined them. "Hey Hoshi!" She said, heading over to give her other friend a hug. Why had Taylor not caught up with all her friends sooner?

Sam was glad to see Knight arrive next, he now wouldn't have to just talk and focus his attention on Taylor. "Hey!" he said with a smile, then he saw a hand appear on his shoulder. It was Hoshi. "Hoshi!" Sam hadn't seen her since her birthday. "Where have you been hiding?" Sam felt a lot more comfortable now that all of his friends where present. He was just going to have to forget that Toni was there, he knew it was mean but it would get him through the day without making an idiot of himself. "Since we're all here shall we crack open the butterbeers?" Sam said with a playful grin.

Hoshi shook her head. "Showing Tohoru-kun around, making friends, enemies, getting detention AGAIN. I sepnt most of the summer grounded too but I did manage to get this out of it." She said and took out a single page of her sketch book. It was a drawing she made with all the girls in the back and all the guys in the front. It looked a bit like a school picture but it one looked closely they where waring evilish grins like they where up to something. "Believe me I was that bored." She said with a sigh.

Toni was surprised that Knight was the next one to arrive. "Hey" She said looking up at him almost glad that he had arrived. The air almost seemed less tense already. Smiling as she looked at Taylor and Knight's greeting, Toni couldn't help but find them so cute. Soon Hoshi came into the group.

As the group spoke for a little, Toni listened nodding as Sam asked if they should open the butterbeers. Her eyes glanced over at him for a moment, but quickly looked away as she tried to think about what to say to get a conversation going that wouldn't lead her to say something really stupid.

Toni looked at the picture that Toni took out, one of her sketches. Not bad Toni thought not daring to say that aloud. Toni would never compliment Hoshi no matter what. Toni began to fix her hair, giving her something to do as her gaze followed to the surroundings.

Scorpius grinned at everyone and gave Taylor a hug before Hoshi appeared right beside him. "Hoshi!" he said brightly, giving her a hug after Taylor had. He echoed Sam's words and said, "I haven't seen you in so long!" The only Ravenclaw was in such a bright mood lately he hoped it stayed that way for the rest of the year, though at Hogwarts you could never be sure. He saw the sketch Hoshi had done and raised his eyebrows in surprise as he said, "No bad," with a playful smile, really it was actually very good, better than 'not bad.' He laughed when she said she'd gotten detention already and shook his head. Hopefully this year wouldn't consist of so many of them getting in trouble or being in the Hospital Wing. "How's your brother liking Hogwarts?" he asked Hoshi politely. The last time he had seen the Koshiba twin was back at the Borely Mansion so the two didn't really have time to talk.

Hoshi smiled as people told her what they thought of the picture. Hoshi knew that Toni would rather die than tell her her picture was good. "He likes it just fine I just hope he doesn't act like other Koshiba men. They love women." She said. Hoshi could talk though. She liked boys a lot it would seem. And her gothyness was not a turn off. Hoshi assumed it was because she knew how to work it. She looked around and got herself a butterbeer. "So are we just sitting here or what?" She asked as she flopped down on the grass and crossed her legs.

Sam listened to Hoshi as she described where she had been 'hiding'. Though when Hoshi showed him her sketch a wide smile spread across his lips, "Woah. Thats wicked! Gees my drawing ability stops at stick people." He said with a laugh though he was in no way joking. He couldn't draw at all. Sam laughed as Hoshi said that her brother was like the other Koshiba men-loves women. He joined Hoshi on the grass and said with a smirk, "Well this is what I plan to do all day." He then reached over to a butterbeer bottle and opened the lead. "So what did you get busted this time for?" Sam asked her after a small sip from his butterbeer.

Taylor glanced over as Hoshi showed them all a sketch. "Wow, thats sweet." She said with a grin. Taylor sat back and watched as Knight asked how Hoshi's twin was going. Taylor had been completely unaware of Hoshi having a twin until she had seen him at Hoshi's party.

She noticed they had got into the Butterbeer, so she too grabbed on and drank a sip. Taylor grinned at Sam's question to Hoshi, Taylor also wanted to know. Trust Hoshi to get into trouble, it was a comforting thought.

Scorpius laughed at at Sam's comment about his drawing ability stopping at stick figures, thinking he was exactly the same way. Scorpius joined his friends and took a seat on the grass after he grabbed his own butterbeer. He would've gotten one for Taylor though she had already gotten hers. He made himself comfortable on the grass and smiled at them all, feeling completely happy to be back with all his friends. He opened up the bottle of the drink they all seemed to love and took a sip as he listened to them talk freely, not having much to say at the moment.

Toni grabbed a butterbeer finally and took a seat on the grass before opening in it. Taking a long sip, she smiled. How this drink always seemed to calme her down. I don't know how muggles live without it Toni thought to herself not knowing how muggles lived without magic either. They seemed pathetic almost. Which is why I'm glad I'm not a muggle She thought on remaining rather silent. Why this silence? Toni wasn't exactly sure. Most of the questions seemed to be directed at Hoshi about her brother, who Toni hadn't known she had or maybe this Slytherin didn't care enough to listen. Still she didn't really care about Hoshi's twin brother. Twins were like average in her family.

Instead of speaking, Toni listened to the group waiting for Hoshi to reply to Sam's question. Her eyes remained focused at the surroundings and not in anyone in particular as her mind began to wonder and she began to zone out.

Hoshi put her fingers on the bridge of her nose. "Taylor should know. Tohoru-kun had the bright idea of messing with Professor Styx again. He went to his head of house I had to listen to Professor M for about ten minutes. It wasn't that bad though. I heard Tohoru-kun got detention. I got my room searched for all exlosives. Then again that's what I get for trying to get out of the meeting by seeing if Professor Styx would belive I blew up the Green Houses." She said with a sigh. Hoshi missed her wand but have at it. No one found anything because before the search she handed everything that would have been ban over to Tohoru for him to keep. Hoshi took a sip of her butter beer and started thinking of what she was going to do next.

Sam laughed at her story, he wondered how she was not expelled yet. This year Sam wanted to stay out of trouble a bit though he didn't want to admit that to any of his friends just yet. Sam took another sip from his butterbeer and thought about how lucky he was to have such a close group of friends. When his time came to go to Hogwarts last year he wasn't sure if he would even have one friend let alone four best friends! "There is something strange about Professor Styx though. He creeps the hell out of me." Sam said with a laugh.
