Finally, A Friend

Chloe sat outside, enjoying the fact that it wasn't blistering hot or freezing cold just yet. Her favorite pastime was always to just sit and collect her thoughts. In addition to that she hummed a tune to herself. Why? Because she could. Sometimes people hated when she sung, though it wasn't that she wasn't a good singer. Some people just got annoyed by it. Even so she always sung until told to stop. That was her one thing that she wanted to do. Her parents would never allow it though. They wanted her to graduate with a good job that was steady and well paying.

It seemed that at school she could relax, not worry as much. Now all she needed were some friends. The ones she had already left or went to a different school. The loneliness was starting to get to her. After all, there really was no happiness in just sending letters and then being alone in person, right? Chloe just hoped that someone would come see her, maybe even try to befriend her.

<COLOR color="#000">Outside, a place where you could enjoy the casual hustle and bustly of nature. Well, that was
Annie's opinion of what being outside ment. It was almost midday and the classes Annie had
for that day were already over. She needed something to do to kill her time. But what? Annie
didn't knoe what she could do. She had a few hours untill she had to go to training and her
camera was far away in her room. Ahe couldn't hink of anything to do. So, by default. Annie
decided to walk around the school grounds, it was the only thing she could think of doing and
it didn't seem like such a loss, she was burning off the calories from breakfast. Annie walked
along the path, her bare feet not showing any signs of pain from the prickly gravel underneeth
them. She liked how sunny it was that day even though it wasn't paticually warm, or cold for
that matter. As Annie continued to walk, she hrad somebody humming, she assumed it was a
girl from the melodic and natrually high pitched sound she was hearing. Saying that, Annie
actually liked what she was hearing. She ventured out to follow the noise.

It didn't take Annie long to see what was making the noise, it was a girl who looked like she
was in her late teens. Annie felt herself smile at this, she was glad to have found somebody
that she could possibly talk to. Annie walked up to the girl and sat down next to her. Annie
had obviously invited herself to sit next to the girl, she hoped that the stranger wouldn't
mind. Mostly because Annie wanted a friend and needed to find something productive to do
before training. Making a friend seemed like one of the most productive things she could do
under the circumstances. Annie looked at the girl and smilied. "I'm Annie, I hope you don't
mind that I sit with you and start a conversation with you."
Annie said with a friendly tone
to her calm voice. She wanted a friend and she had a feeling this girl could be one. Annie
continued to smile at her as she waited for a reply.
