After the first day back at work after two weeks off, Eduardo was more tired than he thought he would be so he trudged out of the school and into Brightstone Village where he had to pick up a few things before apparating home to relax after a long day. The man was finding that things were becoming far more normal than they had been in the past few months and for that he was grateful so he walked through the small village, loosening his tie from around his collar when he saw a familiar blonde head of hair. As he had gotten busy shortly after Valentine's Day the man had not been able to thank Kennedy for such a funny little rose - or her discretion. The man liked to keep up appearances in front of students so mentioning his rear end in front of them would have been the antithesis of that. He jogged a little to catch up to her and put his hand on her shoulder gently when he had been able to. "Kennedy. Hi," he said with a grin, taking his hand off her shoulder because touching her was making him a little nervous not that he could ever admit that.

Kennedy found herself getting increasingly busy throughout the semester. She felt like she was finally getting into the swing of things at Hogwarts New Zealand so she felt like she should settle herself here a little more permanently. She decided to take advantage of some of her free time one weekend and run some errands around Brightstone. She had just finished putting her small bag of coins into her purse when she felt someone touch her shoulder. Kennedy looked up and turned around to see who it was and broke out into a large grin when she saw who it was. "Eduardo, hey!" she said happily. She wanted to reach out and give him a hug as a greeting but she didn't want to overstep her boundaries so she hesitated and then decided not to. "How have you been?" she asked. She hadn't seen him in a while since he had taken some time off right after Valentine's so she hadn't gotten a chance to assess if her rose message had been a little too crass of a joke.
