Jordan head down, walked to the Hospital wing. His shoulder was pretty beat up from his first match against Slytherin. Hufflepuff lost but it had been a good game. He managed to score the first goal. The fifth year was excited to send a letter to his older sisters about the game. Dispite losing he found that he had actually really enjoyed himself. Which for the lonely boy who sat in the abdandoned classrooms and played his guitar alone. Being out and about, let alone on a team was something to be proud of. Sitting down on one of the beds still decked in his uniform the boy waited for a Nurse to come and help him.

He hoped they would be able to get rid of the pain. It did not matter to Jordan if there was a giant bruise or anything. He just wanted the pain to go away. At the he was now he could not even lift his arm without the entire arm feeling like it was on fire. Looking up at the ceiling the boy wondered how it would have been if the beaters on his team had been more active and shot at some of the Slytherins. The darn green team seemed to come out of the game on top and with only a few scraps here and there. While Hufflepuff all the chasers were feeling the pain of bludgers.

Kate felt as if everything was burning. She had never felt pain like this before. She had never gotten hit by a bludger before and she had never even broken a bone before. The pain in her ankle was almost unbearable. She felt like crying her eyes out and screaming but she was holding it in.She didn't want to break down in front of the two teams. It would probably look as if she was asking for attention and something Kate hated was attention on her. People seemed to think she did everything for attention when really Kate hated too much attention, especially for the wrong reasons. Everyone believed the stupid magazine and now everyone thought she was the biggest drama queen to step on two feet. Some people were really narrow minded to believe such a stupid magazine when they had no proof she was an actual drama queen. Everything that had happened had been genuine. Not some act but Kate had learned to forget and ignore how silly some people could be.This was one of the reasons Kate was keeping the pain locked up inside her. The only indication that she was actually in pain was when she winced every so often and when she accidently let out a small groan of pain if her foot touched the ground. Her shoulder wasn't as bad. There was a burning sensation and she couldn't move it that much but it didn't compare to the pain in her foot.

She was slightly disappointed that they hadn't won the match but she was proud of the team. They had more or less kept the quaffle away from the Slytherins most of them time. And they had only let one score in at the end and well Kate had almost passed out from the pain so Kate didn't really count that. They had won fair and square but if there was no snitch and just finished on time she was sure the 'Puff team would have won. She had enjoyed the match too other then her injuries. The team worked well together though she was sure Mylie and Hades didn't like her but Kate could deal with that. Not everyone is going to like you and you have to respect that. She was a bit disappointed at the two for not doing a better job of protecting them from the bludgers of hitting the Slytherins but maybe they had been having a bad day or something.Sighing Kate couldn't help the small groan of pain as her foot touched the ground. She was sweating from the effort of hopping all the way up to the hospital wing and the pain from her foot and shoulder. She wasn't in very good shape. She was tired from the match and it was pure adrenaline keeping her going but even that was fading quickly.Kate was glad of the support from Jordan. With out it she wouldn't have made it to the Hospital Wing. She hoped JazzyMae was okay. She hadn't been in a very good mood and she had also gotten hit by a bludger. Kate would make it her business to find her and check up on her.

Once they reached the hospital Kate collapsed onto the bed. Everything was hurting and she just wanted it to stop. She waited for the nurse and hoped the pain would go away soon. She looked up and turned to Jordan "How's your shoulder?"She asked concerned.

Quidditch Season. Aisling loved quidditch, but every year, she had a storm of students coming in with broken arms, or dislocated shoulders. then, there were the ones who started practicing in the hope of getting on the team, and hurt themselves. She'd seen the match earlier, and there were quite a few injuries, so she'd hurried up here, and finished off a pain-killing potion. She didn't realise some students had come into the wing, and walked out to check that the beds were made; "Oh-Hello." she greeted them, surprised at their presence. She hadn't seen the end of the match. "Let me guess-you're the two who were beaten about by the bludgers." she smiled wryly, she'd noticed that one girl, the chaser/keeper had been targeted, and it looked like that was the girl sitting on the bed. "I'm Aisling, now, you're going to have to tell me exactly what's wrong, but I'd say you're hurting quite bit right now, so.." she quickly summoned two cups of the painkilling potion, and handed it to each student.

The girl looked badly bruised, and her ankle seemed swollen. "So, what was the outcome of the game?" she asked, waiting for them to drink. the boy seemed to be in slightly better shape, but still-he was pretty badly beaten up. No one had lost any teeth yet-which was good. She hated having to re-grow teeth. "Would you like some pumpkin juice?" she asked, it was quite a warm day.

Jordan was gla the nurse got to them quickly. He figured all he'd really need was something to dull the pain. He was sure none of his bones near his shoulder were broken. Kate needed a lot attention then he did. Taking the cup he looked down at the medicene knowing it was going to nasty to taste. "We lost. Our beaters weren't hitting the other team enough like they were doing to us," he mumbled not really wanting to let Kate know his feelings about the other Captain. Downing the medicene a grimaced passed his face at the taste. He knew it would help being pain relieve enhanced by magic. But magic never tasted to good he found. He nodded at the question. Pumpkin Juice sounded perfect at that moment.

Kate was glad that the nurse came quickly. She really wasn't feeling too good. She felt dizzy from the effort of walking up the stairs and from the pitch. Everything was throbbing and she just wanted it to all go away. When the nurse who introduced herself as Aishling gave them the potion Kate knew it was going to taste nasty but she didn't really care. She gulped it all down, wincing a bit at the taste but she felt better knowing the pain would go away soon. "Well I think my ankle is broken and my shoulder is throbbing, both were hit head on by bludgers and hit with more force then required"Kate said. She wasn't really bitter about it. She had obviously done something to annoy them and she had been an easy target though she didn't see why they had to be hit with so much force. Kate over heard what Jordan said and she did agree with him but she didn't say it aloud. Something had obviously happened. She would be disappointed in the two if they had purposely left all the chasers getting hit. She knew Mylie didn't like her,why she didn't was beyond her since the two had barely spoken but some people just don't like other people. Kate decided to stop thinking about those things, everything hurt. "that would be lovely, thanks"She said smiling slightly at the nurse who seemed nice.

Aisling grimaced as they told her about the beaters. They made the came more interesting, but they were the bane of her life come quidditch season. She summoned two glasses of pumpkin juice, and handed it to the two students. "It'll wash away the taste of the potion." she smiled. Then she walked over to the girl; "This might hurt, but I have to check." she felt along her shoulder-it wasn't broken-thankfully, but there would be some heavy bruising. "Hmm...okay, so I'll need this." she turned away from the girl, and strode over to her office, collecting a bottle of purple-ish paste. She lifted the sleeve of the girl's robes, and rubbed some of the cream into her shoulder, she had lots of pot of it in her office; "Take this and rub it into your shoulder every morning." she smiled, as she closed the lid. "It'll ease the pain, but there'll be some bruising. It'll fade after a few days if you keep using the cream." Then, she moved to the girl's ankle. She pressed on it lightly, but she could feel the crack; "I'm afraid it is broken, but I can fix that." she smiled, whipping out her wand; "Brackium Emendo!" she commanded, and heard a small click. "It should hurt for a day or so, but try not to put too much pressure on it." she told her, as she walked over to the boy.

His shoulder seemed okay, she got him a jar of the paste, and rubbed it into his shoulder; "You'll need to use this too." she handed it to him. He didn't seem to have any other major bruising. "If you have other bruises that hurt-you can use the cream on them too." she told him, as she stood. "Now-I'll need to test you both for concussion, since ye were both hit on the head." She placed her finger in front of the boy's eyes, and moved it from side to side; "Follow my finger with your eyes." she ordered, and then she repeated the process with the girl.

Jordan watched as the Nurse took care of Kate first. She needed the help more than him, that was for sure. Sipping his pumpkin juice the boy grimaced as he heard the crack from Kate's foot. He was glad he wasn't hurt that badly. He sighed as the Nurse gave him the jar. He was sure his roommates would laugh at him having to put the stuff on himself. He would be weak in their eyes, though none of the them played Quidditch at all. Watching the Nurse's finger he wasn't sure what she was looking for in his eyes. He hoped he hadn't hit his head to hard, he couldn't even remember hitting it. But it could have been another player bumping into him.

Kate drank the potion glad that the after taste from the potion was wearing off as she drank the pumpkin juice. When she had first heard pumpkin juice she had bee reluctant to try it. Whenever she thought of pumpkins Halloween always popped into her head and the idea of having a drink named pumpkin juice just hadn't sat right, like when she had first heard of quidditch. Flying on a broom? That was only what witches did with the cauldrons hanging off the end and the cat sitting on the broom flying past a moon. Kate winced slightly as she began checking her shoulder, it was painful and there were already ugly bruises developing.Kate looked at the purple potion. Sometimes there were big benefits to being a witch. Injuries that would usually take weeks to cure could be cured within a few days. "Thanks"She said smiling taking the pot of cream. She was going to rest for the rest of the day. She would have a nice, warm, long shower and she was going to plonk herself in front of the fire and read a book. She was awoken from her day dreams when the nurse touched her ankle. She couldn't help but jumped and bit her lip in pain. That had been both a shock and painful. Amazingly though her broken ankle was fixed in seconds, it was still sore but she was saved from six weeks of hobbling around on crutches and having a huge cast on her leg. "Thank you"She said smiling. She watched as the nurse went over to Jordan. Thankfully he wasn't as injured as she was. She hoped JazzyMae was okay because she had got some nasty belts too. The nurse then did something for concussion, Kate didn't remember hitting her head but it was probably just a precaution. She followed her finger easily. She sat on the bed waiting for what would happen next.

Aisling smiled as they took the potion, and stopped ehrself from smiling as the boy sighed. They would need to use it, or else they'd have stiff and sore limbs for days. She cringed as the girl flinched; "Sorry about that-I had to check." she apologised, smiling at her sorrily.

After finishing the test for concussion, she was fairly sure they could both go. "Now-you both seem okay-but I don't want you to do anything too strenuous for about a week, to make sure your ankle is back up to speed." she ordered, pointing a finger at the girl; "You're not as bad-no broken bones, but make sure to use the cream." she smiled, turning to the boy; "You can both go back to your dormitories now-I suggest you have a good nights sleep" she siled at them both, it hadn't been anything too serious, they should be fine.
