Feeling Social

The student lounge was often busy during the day, filled with chattering students that made studying in the room pointless and more of a task than studying was to begin with. This was the main reason Flavio often preferred to study or read in the library where he could find peace, quiet and often solitude from the world around him. Although that day the Ravenclaw was instead craving a change of pace that brought him away from the library and to the student lounge with a book in his hands. He found that the more his confidence grew, with every new friend made and with every conversation he pushed himself to start, the more he wanted to have conversations. That day he wanted to talk to someone and figured that if he sat quietly in the lounge for long enough, that he would eventually see someone he knew, or someone else in his year that he had not spoken to who he could start a conversation with. So with intent to do just that and a book to keep his patience from wavering, Flavio walked to one of the window seats and got comfortable, opening his book and reading although keeping alert to his surroundings enough to notice if someone else walked in.
