Alessio hadn't really thought much about the yule ball, but since it was his last one, he had thought it over a second time. He didn't know what he was to wear and after looking through his clothes he finally settled on something plain and simple, a suit. It didn't take the boy long to get ready considering he didn't have to put on any make-up, and he was in the great hall in no time. He was hoping he would see someone he knew so at least he could spend the night talking to them. Alessio spotted his brother, but there was no way he'd be spending the night with him - no offence. Besides, Leo was doubtlessly with his girlfriend so he didn't want to feel like a third wheel. He ran a hand through his hair and his gaze rested on someone vaguely familiar. Swallowing, Less approached the girl he'd accidentally bumped into weeks ago with a smile. "Hey. Celebi right?"​

How had Celebi allowed Leo to talk her out of nap time and into going down to the Yule Ball. She could have gone down in her pajamas for the favor he was asking, but she wouldn't have been caught dead, and thus slipped into something nicer, with light makeup to accompany. The blonde's tresses were left semi unmanaged and she didn't mind, after all it looked like the right kind of messy not the too-lazy-to-brush kind of messy. Standing in the spot Leo told her to wait Celebi crosses her hands over her chest and tapped her foot. She attempted to peer over the crowds of people, but at a shortened height in flats she couldn't gaze of the sea of heeled girls. Celebi was nearly going to give up when she heard a vaguely familiar voice say her name. The tips of her hidden ears turned pink and she turned slowly. This was the favor. She was going to kick Leo's ass for setting her up to this. "H...Hi. You know my name?" She squeaked our. Had Leo mentioned her affinity to the older boy?

Alessio scratched the back of his head awkwardly, still with a smile, as the girl asked him if he knew her name. Well, Al wasn't bad with names, so unless he got it entirely wrong or Leo fooled him (which he didn't, surely) then he could not have been mistaken. "Um, yeah. My name‘s Alessio, or just Al for short." He didn't know what else to say, so he added, "My brother mentioned you. At first I didn't get why, but I guess he wanted us to meet. Strange, huh?" he asked, half joking, and hoping that the younger girl wouldn't take him too seriously. The puff had never been good with words, and let alone to a girl who seemed just as nervous as he was a - for some obscure reason. He didn't want his last dance to be awkward though and he was trying to get over his girlfr- ex-girlfriend.​

Celebi looked up into the smilin face of the boy before her, and cocked a small grin in response. She couldn't help but feel out of place in her simple summer dress, now that she was more aware of everyone around her dressed extravagantly. "I know... I mean I'm friends with Leo he Uhm, mentioned you." She muttered, trying to seem like less of a creep than she felt she was being. "I'm going to beat him." She whispered before smiling again. "I guess so...You Uhm, didn't have anyone to go to the ball to meet did you? Leo can be a bit over the top when he's got a great plan. But you already know that..." she laughed nervously, trying not to make this anymore awkward than it was. Her face increased in redness the more aher are she was that Leo intended them to dance, and the thought of which made the teen nervous. "I think he... was trying to set me up with you." She admitted very quietly.

Alessio thought that Celebi being nervous was kinda cute. Wait, what? He shook his head to clear it and tried to ignore the funny feeling he got in his stomach when he thought that. "Oh, he mentioned me too?" Al couldn't say he wasn't surprised, because he didn't think his brother would mention him to his friends. Deep down, he knew Leo wasn't embarrassed by him, but he still considered the fact of being teased by his own little brother. When she whispered something, unfortunately for her Less heard it so he couldn't help but to chuckle. Cute. "Trust me, the feeling is mutual," he said referring to beating Leo. Of course he wasn't actually going to do it, but it was entertaining simply thinking about it and his brother's reaction. "Oh no I'm not meeting anyone. I came because it's my last Yule Ball and it would be a shame to miss it," he said honestly. "Oh, yeah that explains it - wait, what? Why would he do that?" he asked Celebi, eyebrows furrowing.​

The teen nodded at Alessio's remark, toying with the slim red bracelet on her wrist. Looking at her shoes as if suddenly they were the most interesting thing in the room she chuckled at the idea that Alessio wanted to beat up his brother as well, however the chuckle disappeared as he questioned why it was that Leo wanted to set the two of them up. Celebi didn't have an answer that didn't rat out the fact that she had a crush on him. As the seconds went by she knew she needed to have an answer and so she mustered up all the courage in her Gryffindor body and in the quietest voice known to human kind spoke. "I like you." She spoke, wincing at the verbal admission. She didn't even know him past his help in the hallway and hadn't known his name for a long time.

Alessio was enjoying his last dance, and though he came out of the fact that he would no longer experience this event after this year, he was beginning to like spending time with someone who didn't mind talking to him. Even though, the girl seemed quite shy and it reminded Alessio of himself a few years ago, when he was scared to socialise without his twin around. He'd barely heard Celebi had said, and he also forgot about it as at the same time he asked her, "Would you like to dance?" offering his hand for her to take if she wished. He might as well make her feel at ease if he were to talk to her the entire night. It struck him only then how pretty Celebi was and he tried not to show it as he kept his eyes on hers.​

Celebi couldn't believe how lucky it seemed she had gotten off. He either didn't hear her say she liked him, or didn't mind, because the next words out of his mouth were asking her to dance. Celebi looked behind her to make sure there wasn't a girl behind her, like his girlfriend, and then looked at him when she was sure he meant her and nodded. Slowly she placed her hand in his, her heart beating like a drummer in her chest. As much as Celebi wanted to enjoy the moment, and dance with him she felt a nagging question in the back of her mind. "What about your girlfriend?" There was no way for Celebi to know he was dating someone, other than if she said Leo told her, and it wasn't as if she wanted to make it awkward. She just didn't want a jealous girlfriend coming after her when they saw her dancing with Alessio.
