Sorting was at the stare of the eyes of the little devils. All the Howard gathered in the manor of their ancestor which got passed down to Donavon and Annabelle. Sybil came with the rest of her siblings and of course, Calvin Taylor. How could she get him out of her sight? He was the only person who she could count on, she knew what he was capable of. Although her eyes began to search for Satchel Howard, one of the smartest of the triplets. True that he wasn't as strong as the rest but his mind was full of pure evil and so many brilliant plans. He was the only one who Sybil would really protect, she had never lay her hands on him nor was she planning on doing it. It was odd really, Sybil was the most violent of them all and she wasn't afraid of breaking anyone's joints but Satchel was special. But anyway, she was looking forward in being in the same school along with the rest of her cousins. They would be great in showing the defiled kids what kind of worthless and filthy creatures they were.

Juno couldn't be more jealous at her older sister and Calvin who were going to be studying at Hogwarts soon. She bit Sybil by the leg hard enough to leave a bruise on it. She hated the fact that she was going to stay home with Vladimir, it wasn't fair. Juno quickly ran to the older Howard kids and hide behind them to stop Sybil from hurting her. She held her jar of elk's heart that had been preserved for about a week now. Juno was going to show it off to Cassander and Henrietta, she liked them a lot. They were smart and attentive toward Juno. She walk passed her siblings and cousins "Etta, Ander" her childish voice called for her cousins. She couldn't pronounce their names properly when she was younger and she got used to call them with her customized nickname. "Get away from me Augustus" she scratched Augustus' leg violently, leaving a mark on it before running away from him.

There was some family meeting and Augustus knew he could not miss out on this one. His sister was getting sorted along with some of his younger cousins very soon. He almost couldn't believe how quickly his first year had flown. He was in the same room as them waiting for the rest of the family members to arrive, he stared in front of him not paying attention to anything that was going on. The boy's peace and quiet didn't last long, however, as he noticed Juno holding her jar, unfortunately for her and fortunately for him. Gus was bored and what was he going to do at that moment, annoy his little sister. He enjoyed watching her get angry, it was amusing. "Juno, nobody cares about your stupid, lame collection," he rolled his eyes grabbing her by the arm as she was holding the jar and pulling her towards him roughly. Augustus wanted to annoy her further but couldn't as she scratched him. Gus rolled his eyes, barely wincing. That didn't hurt. He ignored the bleeding and instead stood to one side, looking for Lycus. Where on earth did he disappear off to? Gus was bored. This day wouldn't end well if his twin wasn't anywhere to be found.

Satchel Edgar Howard did not like family reunions. They were too loud, and everyone fought. It was never pleasant, and he always wanted them to be over. His father had encouraged him to attend this one though, as the Howards would no doubt be planning for the new school year. When he arrived, he saw Sybil and practically ran to her side, standing facing his cousin, he smiled momentarily. "Hello." Another cousin quickly caught his eye as she approached his siblings. He knelt to see into the jar, right before Gus pulled her away. His serious face frowning, he spoke quietly to Juno so Augustus couldn't hear. "I care Juno." Satchel had always been the sensitive one. He didn't like infighting among the Howards. His family were both a source of love and terror to the boy. In an odd turn of events, he was often helpful in planning their schemes. His desire for self-preservation manifested itself in an odd ability to predict the course of action which would have the least consequences. He took no joy in violence, he didn't really like it at all, but he wanted his family to be safe, and he did what he could to accomplish that goal. Standing back up, he retreated to Henrietta and Koa, taking shelter. The triplets were close, but Koa and Henrietta were stronger. Satchel often felt he was a burden they had to carry in their protection of him.

There were so many things that had been frustrating Kerryn Howard. All the expectations that her mother wanted was too much, and the vow that her and Kaia had to make. Oh how ridiculous! She had no choice but to agree with it. And the only reason why Kerryn would want to do such thing because Ravenclaw had changed her a lot. Oh the noise, chaos were about to begin when the Jin Howard started to come and attack each other. Kerryn went down from her room to see what happened. She knocked on Nicolette's door to see if she was still in her sanctuary and if she wanted to come down with her. But since there was no answer Kerryn decided to just come down anyway. Her eyes followed Juno who was running around with her disgusting jar. She was one sickening kid, why would her parents let her carry intestines everywhere? Then of course, the most calm of them all, Satchel Howard was there trying to fix everything. "Satchel, haven't you learnt your lesson? Just leave these freaks alone and you'll be just fine" the older girl stared and gave an advise. It was true, the Jin Howard kids were odd. They were savage and weren't much different than any of the wild beast. Pity them.

The youngest of them all were started to irritate Sybil when she bit her leg. What is wrong with her? But ah, she was so much like her sister perhaps this was the reason why they clashed. Sybil walk toward Juno before smacking the little girl by the head snatching her jar away. "If you want to play this little game, then you'll have to do it my way" she said before throwing her little jar out of the window. She could hear the sound of glass broke into pieces. Oh was she satisfied. "Satchel" she looked to her side to see one of her favorite human. She would never hurt him and he knew that, he really had gain favor in her. There was something in him that she was fond of, something that couldn't be explained. "Don't waste your time with this child" she said continuing Kerryn's word, she didn't realize that Kerryn was actually referring to Sybil and her siblings. If only she knew then she would tear Kerryn into pieces.

Juno's haunting smile grew larger when Satchel came and talk to her. How Juno wish that she was to live with his uncle Danton instead of her current siblings. "Sac" his name too was too hard to be pronounced, the child had made a nick name for him too. The young girl placed her hand on Satchel's face and patted it, she didn't know how to show any affection as her parents had never shown it to her and her siblings. Without realizing Juno felt her little jar being snatched away, she look to the side and saw her older sister. Juno gasped and bit Sybil's leg hard "Give it back Sybie!" she screamed before seeing her jar being thrown out of the window. Juno completely froze, still with her haunting default smile on her face. She smiled at her sister and her body began to shake out of anger, her face turned red and her fist tightened. Juno ran toward Sybil and jumped on her, attacking her. Scratching her face, pulling her hair while screaming on top of her lungs. "My HEART!!" she continued screaming, dug her nails on Sybil's face and slammed her face on hers. "Your heart will be in the jar" she dug her nails to Sybil's chest, her little fingers wished to rip her older sister's flesh apart but she couldn't. Juno felt herself being pulled away from Sybil, she grasp Sybil's shirt and heard it rip "Noo!" her childish cry echoed across the room.

Why were these people always so angry? Satchel almost found himself smiling as little Juno patted his face, before Sybil intervened. A confused look was flung in Sybil's direction at this. Why would she go out of her way to upset her sister? Yes, Juno was an odd little girl, but she was just a little girl. "We are family." was his only response to Kerryn, but his voice was low. He didn't want an argument. As Juno flew at Sybil, Satchel leapt into action. It took him only a moment to whisk Juno into his arms, patting the child's hair. "We can get you a new heart Juno" he whispered, as he looked to see Sybil was okay. He raised an eyebrow in her direction, thinking direct communication was inadvisable when the child was so volatile. "If you need to hurt something, you can pull my hair." He bowed his head so that Juno could reach. Many of the Howards were quiet violent, many of the family members were. He knew his mother was a volatile person. Father wasn't. Dad was always reasonable. "Why are we all here? Have you a plan Sybil?" His voice was calm, and the question wasn't particularly pointed, but he felt this needed to get underway. He looked up for an answer as he continued to sooth his younger cousin.

The little predator scream on top of her lungs until Satchel calmed her down. No one could do that but Satchel, he sure had something in his blood. Juno's fist was still very tight and her body was still shivering. That heart was special to her, rarely did she get to collect anything from Elks and now Sybil ruined it. "I'll put your heart in this jar Sybie, I swear to you I will" oh was the little girl up for a revenge. Her little eyes glanced back to Satchel whose head wasn't too far from the little girl's reach. "I don't pull hair, Sac" she dug her nails so deep that her inner hand started to bleed. Juno spread her arms to Satchel, she wanted him to carry her. Juno was actually the only person in the family who could really express her feeling. She didn't know how to express her satisfaction through affection but she had so much more life in her than the rest of the J Howard siblings. "Sac!" she stomped her foot and demanded her cousin to carry her.

Just as Sybil predicted, Juno threw a tantrum by pulling, biting, scratching Sybil's face. She pushed her away but Juno was too angry that her grip had gotten so strong. Much stronger than a year ago, well this is new. "Juno!" she took Juno's little fingers off her and managed to push the girl away with the help of Satchel. Just before Sybil got to smack the girl on the head, Satchel started to talk her out which was odd to Sybil. Her parents had never taught them to sort things through words, it was always through their action. Showing who was on top of the food chain and scare their prey. Sybil decided to ignore Juno, she wasn't going to fight Satchel over this. "I haven't got a clue, mama and papa said nothing at all" not that they would inform their kids when something happened but usually Sybil had a glimpse of information about this.
