Open Family gathering

It was rare for them all to be together, but today was the day when the entire Bakshi family was together. Even before they could sit down at the festive table, it was time. So Priyanka decided to go for a walk in the garden to see how everything looked. Her mother forced her to wear a sari, a traditional Indian dress, which was purple in color with gold embroidered flowers and decorations. All this was done, of course, to please her grandmother. She walked along the stone path of the garden, when she came to a fountain and sat down on the edge of it, putting her feet on it, hugging her arms and looking at the water.

Vikram always enjoyed these family gatherings. It was nice to see everyone. He had been helping his mother with something when he'd seen his younger cousin slipping away. He glanced at his mother and with her slight nod of approval he gave her a soft smile before following after the girl. It took him a second to see where she'd gotten off to, but soon enough he'd found her at a fountain in the garden. He walked up quietly, sitting beside her. "Hey, Priya," He gave her an easy smile. "What's on your mind?"

Priyanka put one hand in the water and began to glide lightly across its surface. She was afraid that everyone would gather, then they would definitely ask her how she felt about going to Hogwarts and Priya was expecting that the least. Of course, it was inevitable. She was looking at the water when she heard someone coming down the path, but she thought it was her mother coming to the garden to get flowers, then she heard her cousin's voice. Priya looked at her cousin. "Hey Vikram." she smiled. "I wonder if Grandma will like the surprise I have prepared for her."

Vikram smiled, letting her distract him for a bit. "Oh yeah? You're her favorite, I'm sure she'll love it," He teased her, running his own fingers gently over the waters surface. He considered his words carefully. "She'll miss you, you know- when you're away at school with me. How are you feeling about that? Nervous?" He tried, watching her as subtly as he could. "Is that why you're hiding out here?"
