The lunches at Hogwarts had very much impressed the young Gryffindor. Sure he always had plenty to eat back home, but there was so much to chose from, so much for him to eat. So much that he could enjoy. So much that he loved. Tybalt was not a fussy eater. Not in the slightest. He ate whatever he was given generally without question. He had pretty fussy to begin with. He'd been the kind of kid who didn't eat much of anything because he was too nervous to try it. However his granda had quickly seen to the problem. He had used his usual backwards method during the week that Tybalt had been at his house during the holidays. It was the first and last time that he had been at his grandparents alone. There was just something in their methods that wasn't what he needed. However it had done the trick. Tybalt ate everything and anything. He didn't stop if it looked the wrong colour or if he didn't know what it was. He was as his granda put it improving from his brat days. Tybalt had just finished his third slice of bread. He hadn't ate so well in a while. Roadside meals being very different from these. He was just happy to be at Hogwarts eating the food. He chewed on the final bit of bread and let his eyes  wander around the hall. It was pretty empty. It being the tale end of lunch, Tybalt was sitting alone at the end of the table. He was pretty sure that he didn't even belong to this house. Gryffindor's were sitting in groups the entire way up the table and here was Tybalt sitting alone at the very end of the table. He wasn't sure what to do with himself. It wasn't like he actually had any classes yet so he did not have to worry about that kind of thing.  The colourblind teen pushed the glasses further up his nose. He didn't know what he could do. There was always Gryffindor common room. That seemed like a good place. Or the library. The library he figured would be quiet. It would have a lack of people in it due to it being the start of term and classes not officially having started for the term. It seemed like the best choice for him. It would be the place that he could get ahead in his work. Standing up, he pushed back and got out from the bench. No one paid attention to him. He liked it. He hadn't had any bother. He hadn't run into trouble. All in all it appeared to be pretty good. At his last school people were always giving him so much grief that he had taken to sitting in the corner closest to the door. Here he felt at least able to sit at one of the tables. It felt good. He had been quickly growing tired of the constant bullying by his schoolmates. Here he could turn over a new leaf. He just had to find the inner Gryffindor courage that the hat had seen within him.

The steps were many. He wasn't actually too sure where the library was. He didn't know where it could possibly be. So he just went on to the first floor, and when he didn't find it, he walked away. He did this until he got to the right floor. However, By this point he was tired and took a seat just outside the entrance to the library. He noticed a girl, much older than him give him a glance and then a double take. Tybalt looked down at his feet and wondered what that had been about. But instead of pondering it more, he got up and walked into the library. Sighing slightly as he noticed the hundreds of books that lined the many walls. This was way too much. He had no idea where what he would be looking for would be. Tybalt knew that the best way to go about it was to just wander around. The one good thing was that the place was pretty empty. There were a few people. He walked to what appeared to be the potion bit. He looked at the covers, peering closely so he could make out what they were saying. He didn't know which would be useful for him. The young boy moved on to the history section, which much more what he liked. It had enough in it. The history of magic, now there was something he needed. Tybalt reached up, having to stand on the tips of his toes, and use the tips of his fingers to be able to reach it. But he was successful. He'd managed to get the book without any help, and without bringing down hundreds of others with it. His small victory was short lived as someone pushed past him. Making him unbalanced and causing him to fall to the floor. The glasses, that were a little big for him went flying across the floor. He spent a few moments lying on the floor, before pushing himself up so he was sitting. Everything was out of focus. He had the book beside him, but he couldn't see his glasses anywhere. The bright blue eyes of the boy glanced all around the floor, he felt about ready to cry, so much so that there was a glistening in his eyes that was tears about to fall. This had not been the safe trip he had imagined.

Kate was back in Hogwarts early this year. She had been in New Zealand for a few weeks before going home once more to spend some time wit the family.Ryan seemed much better and he was back on track to his usual self.Himself and Star had spent a lot of evening together just talking, she was glad that they were and Star was taking how he treated her too bad.Kate was glad her baby brother was getting better. She had missed his banter around the house. He had always made the laugh and he had always been the funny one out of the four. The house had been somewhat quieter and happier with out him, usually his drum and guitar playing would be heard throughout the whole house which was an achievement as the house was vast.Kate idnd't have many happy memories inside their new house, they hadn't really lived in it long enough during the year. They were only there for the holidays which was only twice a year.Even though they had lived there for five years and it sort of felt like home it wouldn't match their house in Ireland which had really felt like home and Kate had plenty of happy memories there. This was her second last year in Hogwarts and soon she was going to loose another home.It was sad really, life in Hogwarts seemed to have flown by so quickly.Soon she would be out in the world by herself and she wouldn't have a proper home for another few years.

Kate walked out of the common room, her intention was to have some breakfast but someone caught her eye.She dismissed it for a second but did a double take. Some first year looked very like Stefan. She could see that the kid noticed and he looked down at walked into the library.Kate was confused,Stefan had never said anything about family she thought he had said he had no other family. That was why he had gone to the foster home but the kid had really looked like him.Kate decided to investigate. She followed the kid into the library.Kate looked around the different sections, looking out for the boy. When she heard a bang she turned and saw the boy on the floor, someone pushed past her and she would have given out but she was too focused on the boy.He seemed to have lost his glasses.Kate quickly knelt down and picked up the boys glasses. "Here you go"She said softly putting the glasses into the boys hands. He looked remarkably like Stefan. She was definitely going to ask what this boys surname was because if it was Archer it would be very exciting indeed. She would let him rest for a few moment. She put out her hand to help him up after she had stood a kind smile on her face.

Not expecting the kindness of others to actually occur. He had seen it more with the others around the common room, people just ssemed overall more friendly towards him. This was just bad timing. He had been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Which basically meant that Tybalt wasn't exactly thinking in that moment that someone was actually going to help him. In his entire school life, very few people had ever helped him. There may have been one or two occasions, where someone would feel sorry for the small boy, and because of this they tended to open the door if it was locked, or tell a teacher that he was hurt. Or once he had even been helped by one small girl from the year below him, she had helped him to the bathroom so he could clean up. He hadn't needed to say anything, it had just happened. However as it turned out, he had never seen the girl again, and Tybalt had later found out she had just been visiting the school and was there on a one off. Literally why the kindness of strangers was translating in a sense that the colourblind pre-teen did not expect anyone to help him. Not, while he sat on the floor, feeling sorry for himself, as well as pretty pathetic. He didn't want to do anything just yet. His glasses were the only thing that kept his vision somewhat close to normal. His da hadn't had glasses until he was much older, and while he admitted that it was just something he'd gotten used to, he knew having glasses at a young age would be a lot better. Tybalt tugged at the end of his own jumper, he rubbed his eyes with the sleeve of the jumper in an attempt to be sure that he didn't start crying. He didn't want to do that. He didn't want to be the young gryffindor who had broken down in the library because someone had pushed him over. They wouldn't realise that Tybalt just didn't like being picked on, he had been picked on too much in his life to want to have to really deal with it at hogwarts. Though this was a one off. The one time out of many that he could've picked to go to the library and the only time since his arrival that something had gone wrong with it. Tybalt closed his eyes and then reopened them. He was just hopeful that this would be the only time it would happen. He was meant to be a Gryffindor, and yet he was fighting back tears. Fighting back hard, or so close to losing. He just wanted to find his glasses, but with him holding back tears, and his already very poor vision made worse by this. By the fact he just can't see a thing with them both. The colourblindness and the tears. This was really not the way in which him actually wanted to start the new year.

He heard a small voice, a girl, and he could see the outline of his glasses in her hands. Tybalt looked up and through his blurry vision saw a girl. He took the glasses from her, wiping his eyes with his sleeve before slipping them on. He smiled at her, a small smile. Almost apologetic for having put her through the bother of having to get his glasses for him. She looked older than him, he was sure that she actually had hundreds of other things to do with his time that did not include helping him. He knew that most people wouldn't want to help him. He knew that most people would prefer to not help him. He had been helped so little in his last school because people didn't want to be lumped in with him, and be treated in the same kind of fashion. Hogwarts he was certain was going to be different. But, things didn't make sense. One person knocked him down and another was helping him. That hadn't happened in a long while. He was now sure that people at Hogwarts were different from all the other people he had ever had the misfortune of being stuck with. He was a small boy, he was colourblind, there were two of the reasons he'd been picked on. At least at Hogwarts people couldn't tell that he was colourblind. "Thank you." Tybalt said, keeping his voice quiet, it was still shaking slightly. Hoping to just stop himself from crying. He adjusted the ill-fitting glasses on his nose and then looked up at the girl. The bright blue eyes finally able to make out more what she looked like. Definitely older. That was probably why she had helped him. "My eye sight is real bad, I could not make out where they were." The boy added quietly. The strong Southern American accent clear on his words. He looked up at the girl, "Thanks"

Kate had had a productive holidays. She had met with old friends and had even managed to make a new one.The best development was with herself and Stefan.Things were good and though she hated leaving him out there by himself she was feeling much better about the situation now.She hoped this year would be a good year, she hoped that nothing bad would happen. She could deal with Rumor Has It but she just hoped nothing serious happened because she wanted to enjoy her last two years of school. The last five years had been both good and bad,a lot of stuff happened that had turned her world upside down. But she wanted a relaxing year, hoping to focus on her school life and future a bit more.In a year she would be able to do magic outside school.Kate was looking forward to the seventeenth of May.It would be great, life would be much easier though she would obviously have to watch it at home as not everyone in the house was magical, she knew te staff suspected something-they must have thought the Moons were a pretty disfunctional family. When they had to go to the stupid balls and dinners she knew that people had talked about them,it had annoyed Kate at first because she had enough of that in school and then being judged but not only yourself but your whole family. She knew that they had often talked of her when she had been sick in both second year and fourth year. She bet they had nothing better to talk about.

Kate smiled at the boy who seemed like he had been about to cry "Poor Thing"She thought sympathetically. He was really cute looking with big bright eyes. She still couldn't get over the resemblence. It wasn't like a twin or anything but just similar features as such.Like you would know she and Star were related because they had the same nose and just looked like each other.Of course then there was herself and Sara although they weren't identical twins they still looked very alike and people often knew they were twins. "No bothers"She said quietly, remembering they were in a library where people were supposed to be quiet. The librarian could be picky at times.Kate didn't spend much time in here. She only came in sometimes when the common room was too loud as it was nice and quiet and peaceful.Kate nodded and a thought entered her head "Are you by chance colorblind?"She asked curiously. He sounded southern american. The accent wasn't hard to miss like most accents so some are more prominent. She just had a feeling that this boy was somehow related to Stefan and she doubted either knew of their existence. Kate smiled again."I'm Kate by the way.Kate Moon"She said smiling she wasn't going to ask him straight put was his surname Archer because he'd probably never talk to her again suspecting she was stalking him or something

Tybalt had always enjoyed having a sibling. It was pretty fun. It meant that no matter what he did, there would always be someone to do it with him. Whether it was climbing up a particularly hard tree or just to keep company during a particularly hard time. All in all having someone your own age to share it with was good. However his sister as he was told on numerous occasions didn't really look much like him. It wasn't obvious, but there were small features that he'd always been told made them look alike. His sister though didn't have the Archer luck. She was a lot luckier than him, she was not colourblind and she wasn't terrible at making friends. If anything, Tybalt thought that if he hadn't been colourblind since birth his life would be a lot less unlucky. Apart from that, it was the only sibling who looked like him. His other cousins, the two from his father's elder brother didn't look like him, and one was a little too young to even remotely look like him, that and they were both girls. His father's younger sister had no siblings, which was good because Tybalt had never really liked her. The only other person was Tybalt's da's younger brother, who had died about 16 years before. It was actually purely by accident that Tybalt had ever come across a large family picture, and noticed that the Archer grandparents had four children and not just the three that they talked about. When Tybalt had asked his da about it, when they'd been having dinner one night at his grandparent's house, there had been an odd silence. Then they had said that he'd died. His granda had told a pretty awful story of how he had died. It was one that had always stuck in his memory. After the story it was the end of it. Tybalt had never gotten a name of him, and it had never been mentioned again. He didn't have a very large family. It was really just the right size for him, and he was pretty happy with eerything that he had because of the family. Apart from the colourblindness, he was close to his cousins, he was a wizard, and now he was at hogwarts. He could easily deal with the fact that he was colourblind. It was just a tiny little factor in life. A small thing that he dealt with. Tybalt however had been told over and over by his father of the risks of when he grew up that if he had a male child, a son, he would most likely pass it on to him. Which he didn't want to do but, it was just another factor of life. He just didn't know what he could do to change it, all he could do was smile and try to make some friends while at school, to be the brave Gryffindor the sorting hat saw in him. Something he did not yet see. Understandable so, since he was sitting on the floor of the library almost in tears.

The girl seemed very nice. She was smiling at him, and he smiled weakly back. He didn't know what else to do, he wasn't very good at talking to people. This person was older than him, he wasn't quite sure what he could say. He wanted to say his thanks and just be able to move on, to not keep her from whatever busy life that she was surely leading. After all he was just some boy who would mean nothing to her. He just kept his eyes on her, wiping at them with his sleeve. He was definitely feeling better than he had minutes before. The kindness of strangers was proving once again to be stronger than whatever the other person had been trying to achieve. He had to push his glasses forward so he could reach his eyes with his sleeve, which meant that each time he did, he had to push them back before they fell. The next question surprised Tybalt. He hadn't been expecting it. How could see tell. Had someone told her. Had someone made sure to tell the entire school of the impairment that had made his life at the last one miserable. He didn't want that to happen. he didn't need for that to happen. Although, if she knew about it, maybe she knew more than most, maybe she'd see it before. "Yeah," He said quietly. "I am, how'd you know?" Tybalt added looking down at the floor and then back at her, would it put her off if she knew. Would she walk away at the very moment. He was interested to know how she knew. Tybalt's accent was always clear, it was the problem of his entire family having it. The one problem. Tybalt smiled again as she smiled, though he was feeling a little nervous. He had no idea what it meant. The girl followed by introducing herself to him. Tyablt hesitated for a second. "Tybalt, Tybalt Archer" He said, attempting to put more confidence into his voice. Hoping to sound a lot less like he was about to break down. He wondered if all the older students were like this, this nice to him. Nice to people in general. It would make for a nice change, since he was so used to being called names and thrown around. "I'm a first year Gryffindor. What about you?" He added in an attempt to keep the conversation going.

The Moon children had never been lonely.there being four of them meant there was always someone to do something with. They were quite different. She and Sara both had dark hair and eyes where as Ryan and Star were blond with blue eyes.It was kinda weird because you would have to look closely to realize that the four of them were related. She loved her family no matter how annoying they could be.She remembered when they were together in Ireland, life had been much easier then. But then again if life was always easy it would be boring.Kate certainly had had an exciting life over the past five years. She hadn't really enjoyed some of it but a lot more drama had happened in her life then some peoples.Kate never would have thought in first year that life would have turned out like this.In a way things had righted themselves and things were back on track.Ryan was much better and so was she and her relationship with Sara was on a good level also. She had to admire her parents for not screaming and tearing their hair out over the past few years. They must have been out of their heads with worrying and wondering where everything went wrong. She was surprised they hadn't pulled all the Moon's from Hogwarts.Kate knew there would have been uproar over it.Four against two?And the Moon's were very stubborn and would fight their corner. But strangely the idea had never been mentioned,it made her wonder what her parents talked about when they were in Hogwarts and what they had been thinking when Kate had come home in second year, third year and fourth year and Ryan was she was in fifth year. She guessed they expected a surprise each year but Kate hoped that didn't happen.

The boy seemed very nervous and clumsy. The glasses he had seemed to big for him and his eye sight was obviously terrible if he hadn't even been able to see anything when his glasses had fallen off.Kate wouldn't mind having glasses, they didn't seem too bad but it would be annoying because you could break them or loose them.So many bad things could happen when you had glasses.Kate was sure she would need them when she was older because she read to much and reading those small words were probably not good for your eye sight. But Kate loved to read, she loved lots of books and she read through them fast.It was kinda cute watching him push up his glasses.Kate nodded her head "Oh it's just I have a friend who is colourblind too though he doesn't have glasses"Kate said,it didn't fully explain it but she was sure that would somewhat satisfy him.Well at least she hoped so because she wasn't sure how to explain it to him.He probably didn't know Stefan existed or if they did they were terrible people because they hadn't helped Stefan when he was in need.Kate's eyes widened for a second, they had to be related. There were so many clues pointing in that direction "Nice to meet you Tybalt"She said smiling, she wasn't sure if she should say anything to him.She decided to keep her mouth shut for a while. "I'm a sixth year Hufflepuff"She said smiling.Gryffindor was the only house that no Moon was in.They had two Ravenclaws a Slytherin and a Hufflepuff. "How are you finding the school so far?"She asked

It had always been Pretty obvious to the boy that a colourblind life without glasses was a lot harder. He knew that because of how much his da had always told him it was hard. The number of times that Tybalt had. Complained about the fact he had to wear glasses. He still hated it a lot but he knew that without them he would not be very good at seeing at all. It would be hard. He would be able to look around and see a lot more. Things further away were blurry but generally came into focus when a lot closer to his eyes. When things were closer it was a lot easier to see. He wondered how hard it would've been for this person's friend. He knew how hard it was on those mornings when he was unable to find his glasses. Tybalt wondered if this person was still at hogwArts. Tybalt had never met anyone else around his age that was also colourblind, how they coped or didn't. How long they'd had it. How difficult it had been for them growing up. It really was odd, he didn't know how to ask her all about this person, really he just wanted to meet them. And go back to how he'd managed to not have glasses and still function. It would've been very hard. Tybalt always asked his father why he hadn't it was not easy. His da barely mentioned it. The only time hat the young boy had managed to get the truth it had been his granda's fault. Out of all his family members he hated his granda the most. The man had never liked Tybalt, he was the only one carrying on the name but he was colourblind. His granda hated the fact Tybalt was colourblind. He hated having to go visit him. It was always a big bother. He was happy to have moved to New Zealand to not have to deal with that anymore. "You don't have to have glasses but it is very hard without." Tybalt looked down at the floor, sitting back slight and crossing his legs. He looked back up at the girl. "It would be blurry. My da didn't have glasses growing up, and he taught himSelf." Tybalt said with pride laced in with his clear accent. "My granda didn't want him having glasses. Didnmt want to have to spend the money on my da." Tybalt said honestly. He didn't see the point in lying about it. It would be hard to bother with making up stuff, when the reality was just as easy to mutter. The day his da had told him about it had been the weirdest of days. It had been the same time that his granda had told him about be youngest brother of his da. His da had gotten a little drunk and told him so much more than he would had he been sober. From what he had learned that day, it had been his granda that had driven his father's brother away. It wasn't a good things Tybalt had always felt bad for his da and the way they had grown up.

Tybalt glanced around the room quickly. He smiled slightly as the girl, as she said it was good to mee him. He gave a small nod and mumbled that it was good to meet her. It wasn't a phrase he said often but he had heard many people say it around him over the past few days that he figured that it would be okay for him to use it even though he did not entirely see the point. How could you know so early on if it was good to meet another person it would be the worst thing that had ever happened to you in the long run. Still it was polite and Tybalt was desperate to have a few friends even if the friend was someone who was a little bit older than him.She turned out to be five years his senior and was also a hufflepuff. When Tybalt had arrived he had been convinced that he would be in hufflepuff. It wouldn't be a bad thing, he liked hufflepuff, but he was in Gryffindor, he was utterly surprised by that fact he had never expected it, he had never thought he would be sorted into the house of the brave and noble. It really wasn't for him. He was just happy. He was so weirded out by it. The house hat surely been mistaken. "I like it. It's real nice. I am still not use to these winters but it is real nice." Tybalt pushed up the glasses that were slipping down his nose. He looked down at his hands and then back up. "do you like it here?"

Kate was really amazed by the likeness between Tybalt and Stefan. She was going to have to mention to Stefan, she wondered had anyone else noticed. The year was young and she was sure someone else would notice, people who knew Stefan or even recognized him.She would recommend the glasses to Stefan, she hoped they would help him or maybe he didn't even need them, she would still recommend them anyways, hopefully they would help somewhat. There was no history of colourblindness or glasses in her family.Obviously her parents had them because as you grow older your sight doesn't improve. She didn't know many colourblind people, just three though if she had never come to Hogwarts she probably wouldn't have met any.She didn't know how common it was in people. "You look a lot like my friend"She said hesitantly. She wasn't sure how to say what she was thinking, the boy probably wouldn't believe her but she would try anyway "Do you have any cousins or anything?"She asked she wouldn't land it on him straight away, she could be totally wrong also but at the moment it was certainly pointing to them being related.Kate thought about Stefan,he had never had glasses "Really?maybe my friend doesn't know glasses would help"She said, she listened as he explained, she wondered what was it with the Archer family. She smiled when she noticed the clear pride in his voice when he talked about his dad. This boy seemed sweet,a bit scared and shy but sweet. "Well fair duce to your Dad"She said smiling

Kate barely heard the mumble but she understood the gist of it.He was glad to meet her too,she doubted the two would become close friends, just someone who you would smile to in the corridors or maybe say a quick hello to.Kate always used the phrase,so far she had never regretted saying that to anyone. Some people you knew were just going to be trouble, their body language said it all and their reaction to other people. But them some who is your best friend could turn into your enemy.Thnkfully that had never happened though for a while it had happened to herself and Sara but things were okay now and the two got along well.He didn't seem like the gryffindor type but he was probably jusy shy she was sure they would see what the hat had seen in him in time to come. "Yeah, the weather and time took a while to get used to but I really like New Zealand"She said smiling. She remember coming here the first time, she had basically been up for two days traveling and she had been exhausted. The time change and seasons had been difficult at first but the weather had been mostly the same as New Zealand had the same weather as Ireland most days. "I do,I've had my ups and downs but mostly its been good"She said shrugging "Oh and if you ever need any help just come to me"She said smiling kindly

It was odd to him that people could have much clearer likeness than what he saw. For the young Gryffindor, what he saw, and what other's saw was proving to be very different. It was easy to forget that after everything, his colourblind effected his entire life. He couldn't do one thing without it effecting something. He couldn't just get up and do what ever he wanted. He was a Gryffindor with the eat sight of someone squinting their eyes. His glasses helped a lot, but he didn't like wearing them all the time. The contacts didn't help against the sun. His eyesight was horrible without both of them. But still to him, everyone looked similar in the sense that he couldn't distinguish between eye colour, or hair colour. He didn't really know. It was a lot harder for him that it would be for most. But he looked like this girl's friend. It was largely possible, he wasn't that unique he knew. The colourblindness and a few similar features were all that could connect him to the person that she was talking about. He had never met the person. There was no way he could've. He was fairly new to New Zealand, and really all they had done was wander around the country, speaking to different people and spending large amounts of time in libraries. All in all, a lot of time spent doing things that he didn't quite understand. But, he couldn't think of anyone who would look similar to him, or had. It had to just be some form of huge coincidence. After all he was just a young boy, and he was sure that it was actually impossible. If it turned out that it wasn't, if it turned out that Tybalt was connected to this person somehow, that would be interesting. Tybalt wondered what it would be like. What it would feel like, if it turned out to be true. Surely someone, somewhere knew the connection between them both. If it turned out to be true. For now, the young colourblind gryffindor just had to show that he knew nothing because that was what he knew. His father, his family was very secretive, it was the Archer nature. No one really told the truth about many things. No one really admitted to anything. No one talked about what his granda had done on several occasions. Archer's had this nature to just not talk about the things that a normal family might. To brush everything under the rug. To just pretend like it never happened. So, Tybalt couldn't know. He couldn't see how he was be connected, but then the girl maybe was just trying to see. Trying to tell if he was in fact at all related to the person she was thinking of. Tybalt Archer didn't really mind being compared to anyone. He just wanted to be able to get through the year with as little hassle as he could manage.

"I have two cousins on the Archer side, both female, and three on the other side, two male, one female." Tybalt listed off. They didn't really talk to the cousins on his mother's side. They never really crossed paths. Whereas he saw the two cousin Archers in a much lighter sense. The cousins on his mother's side had been the leaders in the pack of bullies that had tormented the Archer boy. Archer had none of the luck and his cousins had been hell bent on proving so. Though it didn't take much. Tybalt was a small boy. He was an easy target for everyone, and anyone who wanted to pick on the easiest kind of target. He was the kind of person who had little self confidence. He couldn't ever muster up the courage to just try to fight back. He didn't want to half the time. If he even struggled it didn't end well. The colourblind boy was more focused on having things end as quickly as possible. He shook his head at him. "Colourblindness, is eight times out of ten an inherited thing. The parent would've had it, and one of the first things advised is to get glasses." Tybalt knew a lot more about his condition than most, he liked to research it. So, if ever people had questions about it, then he would easily be able to answer it. So that people would not be at a loss when it came to his condition. He didn't really think it would actually change all that much, he found it hard to get used to real seasons. In Georgia he had Summer and then, just slightly less hot. It wasn't as clear as it was in New Zealand. Which was actually what he was sure he was going to have to get used to. "Thanks," Tybalt said to her at her offer of help. He was sure going to need it. Since he wasn't the best in school. Well he worked hard and got good grades, but he struggled a lot. It was why he worked so hard. "That's very kind of you." He added at the end, giving her a slightly more confident smile. He was definitely feeling a lot better than he had moments before.

Colourblindness seemed to run in the Archer family.Even if Tybalt wasn't related though Kate suspected they were Stefan's Dad had still had it.It obviously was a male thing as she didn't think his mum had had it.Kate would hate not being able to see all the different colours.Kate's eye sight was in top shape, well last time she checked. She didn't think she would ever need glasses till she was older.Even though Kate wouldn't like to be colorblind because she would miss all the colors maybe if you have never seen the colors maybe you wouldn't miss it as much as if you knew what it was like and then you lost the ability to see color. It would be a very different world seeing everything in black and white. It would be like living in an old fashioned movie for your whole life. All their eyes were a lovely blue too.Tybalt's were a bright blue and it was strange to think he would never actually see how bright they were.Kate's eyes were a chocolate brown, she wished she had blue eyes like Star and Ryan. Her eyes were warm but there was something about blue eyes that she just loved. There were too many similarities between Tybalt and Stefan to not think they were cousins.Stefan could have a huge family for all he knew. His parents obviously wouldn't have told him,his mam had died when he was younger and his Dad obviously hadn't told him.She would definitely tell Stefan, this was too important not to mention. She hoped he did have a family, hopefully they weren't like his Dad but since Tybalt had no bruises or anything she doubted they were. He could really find out about his parents and his roots if he did have a family. She would be happy for him because he always thought he was alone,no family but hopefully things would change.Kate would sure be happy but then she thought,Why hadn't they taken Stefan in?Why hadn't they taken him away from his father. How come Tybalt or Stefan didn't see to know of each others existence. Well hopefully time would tell.

"Oh"Kate said Kate didn't have a big family at all.It was just the six of them,no one else.It kinda sucked having no family at holidays like Christmas. They did have god parents and her parents friends who they were good friends with but as to family they were either dead or had never been alive in the first place. It hadn't really affected her a child because there had been four of them, that had been plenty for her.But then she would hear her friends talk about their cousins and she had absolutely none. She wished she did have a big family.Occasions such as birthdays would be great craic. But then family friends can be just as good.Kate had some great laughs with some of them.Kate hadn't seen them in a while though. They all lived in Ireland and Kate hadn't been there in around two years. She missed her old home and Ireland. She missed going to the sea and having bbq when the weather would be nice.Irish weather had been annoying and you could always start up a conversation with it because everyone complained about it.When it was wet it was too wet, cold too cold and warm too warm.It was never just right but you just got used to it. "Yeah, well his Dad wasn't exactly of A-standard"Kate said dryly. He wasn't even of z-standard.Anyone who beats of their own kid and tries to kill them isn't worthy of being a parent or just taking care of them.Kate smiled "No problem"She said noticing the more confident smile.Hopefully he was feeling better,he seemed better anyway. "So I'm guessing from your accent you are from some part of America"Kate said curiously. She wasn't very good at accents, she only knew a few that were recognizable. His accent was a very prominent one.She had once had a very prominent accent but it was now had a tint of english accent in there too.

A large family, was not always a good thing. They were many, the Archers and the Evans, Tybalt was one of the older kids in his family, his own parents had gotten married young. Which quite a trend in his family. The Archer side of the family was the side they spent more time with, it was also the side of the family that Tybalt disliked more. It was such a secretive family. Tybalt was young but he was not stupid, he could see that there was something off about his entire family. The Archer's were proud, they had a trait that made most of them weak, but they didn't like acting like it. One time Tybalt had tried to help his granda Archer, he was met with a few choice words and a harsh shove that sent him flying to the floor. His granda was the kind of man who went from nice, to angry in milliseconds, it could happen at any point. It was unpredictable, it was hard to know. The Archer cousins were the only people that Tybalt liked in his family. Even from the other side, it was his two Archer cousins that he preferred. The Evans side wasn't much better than the Archer side. The major difference being was that, they never held back. The yelling, arguing and threats were made in front of kids. Nothing was closed off. It was the one trait in that family that he liked. They could at least be open as a family. When the Archer's gathered it was like sitting in a dark room, waiting for someone to turn on the light. It wasn't exactly fun. Either side was not exactly fun. He liked being in New Zealand. It was a lot nicer. He didn't have to think about all the family dinners that they would need to attend. The ones that would end in disaster. The ones that would end in someone leaving in a huff. Which had never been the intention when sitting down. The young boy looked away, the thoughts of his family never made him feel good. His family was large, but it was broken. It was a hundred little pieces of no one being happy. Of the reminder of what could be possible, but was so far out of reach for them. So far out of reach. Tybalt looked up at her, she was smiling at him, and he could only smile back. He was pushing the thoughts of his family out of his head. He was push a lot of the memories of his family out of his head, focusing on the here and now with the girl in front of him.

Frowning slightly at what she said, he wasn't sure what that meant. Tybalt was pretty much apart from most people, he kept to himself. He didn't really talk to a lot of other people, not until now. He didn't know many phrases that come so naturally to others. But, he was pretty good at guessing what it was about, an A grade was a very good grade, so it clearly meant that it meant he wasn't a very good da. This was an odd thought to the young Gryffindor. He idolized his dad, his da was the most amazing person in his life he believed. He hadn't ever questioned what they were doing out in New Zealand. He'd just happily packed up his things and left. No questions asked, no looking back. Just heading in the direction that his dad had been leading them. "That's tough." The young boy said. He couldn't imagine his da not being the man that he was. He was sure that there had been the chance to, that given the right circumstances and he would've become like his own da, but happily that hadn't happened. He was stuck with a good da. The next question made the boy smile even more. He loved being from Georgia. It wasn't always fun to be there. To be in his home town, but he loved being American, and he loved just being able to say he was a proud Southern. "You are right indeed, I am proudly from the deep South. Georgia." The boy smiled at her. "I am a long way from home." Tybalt continued. When he spoke of his home, he always sounded proud. Happy to be from such a place. Such a place that he did truly love. He tended to have even more of an accent when he spoke of his home that normal. "Where are you from?"

Kate's family had always been close, they were a big family in a sense there was six of them and usually a family consisted of four.Usually not always the case, obviously every family was different. But six was the total count of the Moon family. She often wondered where the surname Moon came out of.It was unusual to say the least and she had gotten some teasing over it needless to say.The family had changed a lot over the past few years. They had once been a very close knit family. You could tell anyone anything because you felt comfortable saying it.It wasn't something every family had it and because there had only been six of them it was easier to be close.Things weren't the same now.Relationships in the family had been strained a lot since entering Hogwarts. How her parents dealt with it all was beyond her.The family had dealt with the stress pretty well as a whole.Relationship between herself and Sara had gone down the drain and recently so had Star and Ryan's but she was sure like Sara and herself things would get better between the two. They had always been very close probably closer then Sara and her.It was a shame Ryan had thrown it all down the drain like he had.She was going to have to try and get back in touch with him.She had been so involved with everything else that she had forgotten about her baby brother and she needed to fix things. She should probably start talking more to Star too she had changed a lot over the pats year. She seemed more confident in herself.Maybe the things with Ryan wasn't completely a bad thing. She had become friends with Sammy and she knew if anyone could get her out of her shell he would.

But that part of Stefan's life was over.It would always be a part of him.But hopefully things would get better. They were finally together after so long. She missed her boyfriend, she hoped he was okay.He hadn't told her where he was staying which worried her slightly but she was sure he would be okay. She was going to write to him soon anyways. It was a great feeling actually knowing he was okay. She had been stressing last year about it.The doctors had noted this when she had gone for her check ups and told her not to be worrying because it was unhealthy for her who could easily get sick again if she was under too much stress.Trying to get the OWLs done hadn't helped either. She was happy with her results, she had done her best and that's all anyone could ask for.Hopefully this year wouldn't be as stressful, she was dreading seventh year as she knew she would have to study harder. She wasn't a very good studier, she tended to leave things until she was cramming which wasn't a very good attitude to have. She would do her best this year and maybe do a bit of studying so next year wouldn't be as bad. "Yeah"Kate said agreeing. It had been tough, very tough.Kate had never really appreciated her Dad before. She had always thought every Dad was like hers. But when she had realized it was Stefan's Dad doing everything she had really started appreciating everything he did for her and what he meant to her.She loved her Dad so much and she hated the way she ad caused him so much bother. He had gotten a new job,one completely foreign to him but he had embraced it and he had always stood by her and helped her even when she was refusing their help. She was so lucky to have a Dad like him.Georgia, that was a long way from here.Kate couldn't help but smile,he was proud of his origins, same as her.Kate had never been to America,it seemed like a pretty cool place though. "I'm from Ireland"Kate said her voice proud also. "Long way from here too"She added smiling

There was a part of the young gryffindor boy who knew a part of his family was missing. A part that he could not exactly know why he felt that way. Sure with his elder brother gone, his family had been in pieces, but it was no reason to believe something was missing, not now. It had been so long since it had happened the boy couldn't and wouldn't believe that it still affected his family. Sure he had always been glad of the family he had. He loved his family, but there were definitely things that he was clearly not allowed to know. Which always made him want to know them more. He had always been the kind of guy who had desired to know everything about his family, considering that it was his families fault he had such terrible eyesight, and yet he wasn't really allowed to know it. In fact he was always kept in the dark when it came to issues about family. In spite of that however, Tybalt was very close to his da. His da had always tried to help him out. Make him feel better. There were those few times, when his da got angry enough that he was very suddenly reminded whose son he was, but nothing violent ever occured. His da was a good man, and a man that the boy inspired to just be like. He knew it would be pretty hard, since he wasn't magical, and the young gryffindor was. But, in all other senses he wanted to be like the man who was always there for him. Lately it had been pretty hard on the family. The move to New Zealand had been pretty sudden and with no indication of why it had happened. But the boy was just getting used to it. He liked it, almost as much as he liked living in Georgia. Not the whole school situation, but no matter what, Georgia was still his hometown and he loved it. He also loved the idea of being away from the folks that annoyed him. His family members who were not magical. Who were just as good as keeping him in the dark as his own parents. Really the only family he liked bar his sister and parents were the two cousins on the Archer side. The half sisters. They were always very nice to him, despite their young age. They were well liked by all members of the family, despite how they were never going to pass on the name, or do anything that would pass on the family curse. As far as Archer's went, they were pretty lucky. Somehow they seemed to be exempt from the curse of bad luck. Which it was clear, the boy that the girl had been speaking of had not. Even if he was an Archer or not, his luck was not exactly the greatest. With a terrible da, and the colourblindness. It was not a good combo, he knew this since his own father had, had the two.

The likelihood of there being any connection between the two seemed slim. It would be odd if there was. Tybalt thought about going to Indiana about it. Talking to her, and seeing what she thought of the issue. it was clearly something he would really have to figure out alone, but it didn't mean he couldn't ask for guidance from other places. Places that didn't realise how odd it would be, for there to be family or extended family members around the place. He had never figured that his first week at Hogwarts would entail such things. He had no idea that there were other colour-blind people. It Was obviously something that their family was not alone in. But, it would be odd to meet someone else who was. Tybalt looked up at the girl as she said she was from Ireland. Now, that was an incredibly long way. He felt a little silly for the fact he was only from Georgia. When this girl clearly came from much further away. He had never met anyone from Ireland, in the same way that he had never met anyone from England up until he arrived at the school. It was pretty cool that it attracted so many people, from so many different areas. a diverse school was a pretty good school in his eyes. He didn't see how people couldn't find it amazing. "That is pretty cool. I've never met anyone from Ireland before." Tybalt said with a smile. He smiled at her. "It's a really long way. What house are you in?" It wouldn't really matter to him, he was just very interested in the answer. He liked knowing, and seeing who seemed more right than others. How many people were actually like their house, and not just out of place like he always felt in Gryffindor.

Ireland was a long way from New Zealand. She had never thought she would ever go to New Zealand as a little girl. The furthest she had ever been from Ireland was France and that was only a two hour flight journey.Nearly twelve hours on a plane had been a whole new experience for the eleven year old at the time.Luckily she had had her book and iPod to entertain her.If she hadn't had anything she would have been screwed.Boredom wasn't something Kate was fond she doubted anyone was fond of boredom. She liked to keep herself busy the last few years especially because she hadn't liked having time to herself to think. When she was thinking by herself thoughts she didn't want to think of usually found ways of entering into her brain and then she would just get all worried and what Kate nearly hated more the boredom was being worried. It wasn't healthy for her to worry too much as everyone kept telling her.Kate had to admit that she did miss Ireland. She hadn't been there for over two years and she missed everyone over there. She had lots of friends over there that she wrote to.They always found it weird how she didn't text or email them but those devices didn't work here so she had to make do with the owl.She always liked to picture the face of her friends when they saw the owl.She sometimes even had a little giggle because they so would not be expecting that and she wished she could have seen the look of their faces when her letter arrived not by post but by owl.She didn't send her owl out on journeys over to Ireland. It was a very very long way so she only did it at the holidays or for birthdays.Since her friends didn't have owls they usually sent birthday cars and letters to her parents who then sent it to her since they had bought an owl for correspondence. She was a proud Irish gal and not being able to watch the hurling and football matches was a pain because they were some exciting games and she was always proud when her county got to the final.During the Olympics she is always supporting her country with pride even if they don't get many medals. She was very proud of her country and it hurt not to be there.

She wasn't sure if the two would be related but there was no harm in doing a bit of digging. If it was nothing there would be a bit of disappointment but if they weren't well then Stefan might find his family. It was interesting and she would talk to Stefan about it.Maybe if Tybalt and Stefan started looking around they would cross paths. It would be great if thy were his family and the were nice to him and welcomed him with open arms.Kate wished she had a bigger family but that was't going to happen until she had a family of her own,if she ever did.She was too young to think of those things though, she still had a lot of things to do before she even contemplated having a family of her own.Kate usually thought about tomorrow instead of way into the future.Kate had met lots of American people before.a lot of American's came to Ireland, they seemed to like their country. She had passed and talked to lots of them because Cashel was a very touristy place and all sorts of nationalities visited there. "Well at Hogwarts you meet all sorts of people from lots of different nationalities"Kate said smiling. Her best friend was Indian and her boyfriend was from New Zealand. That would never happened if she had never come to Hogwarts "Yeah, long time on the plane"She said smiling "I'm in Hufflepuff"She said "Do you like your house?"She asked curiously.Kate had always felt as if she belonged in Hufflepuff. She loved her house no matter how much teasing it got.

One thing the young Gryffindor had come to realise was that people from Hogwarts were from all around the world. it seemed that those who didn't want to go to the school closest to theirs went to the one that was furthest away. He had gone to New Zealand for completely unrelated reasons. He wasn't sure, but he knew it wasn't just so he could be close to the school. Sure, his brother was meant to have gone to the school, but he had no idea how this instantly meant that he was supposed to go too. Sure, Hogwarts New Zealand had always appealed to him as far as magical schools went. So, he was always going to ask his family to send him to the school. But it hadn't always be certain that he would go. But, it had also become just convenient. Since moving to New Zealand the school had then become closest. He was pretty sure that he had found the perfect sort of school. It was just a lot better than all the other schools that he had been to. Sure it was really only one other school, but that being said, it had been a pretty terrible school and he was happy to see the back of it. He was happy he was able to close the door on that and move on to a much bigger and better school. Not to mention that his last school had not been in a castle, so there was also that very small factor to take into consideration. He was pretty happy with how things had worked out and he was feeling pretty good about this school. It was a pretty amazing school. It had everything he could possibly want. It was so much more than what he had been expecting. And that was really saying something. Tybalt was very happy with this school. He was very happy to be magical. Everything seemed so much easier now. So much simpler than how it had been. He didn't really know how to explain it, but it really did feel like a much better fit than any of the other schools. And his mother's brother, had offered for him to go live wit them in Scotland so he could go to the other magical school. Something that he wasn't quite sure was actually a good thing, and he knew he had chosen right. he knew that he had done right. Staying close to extended family wasn't really his idea of a good time. He didn't really know much about them, and he was an Archer more than he was an Evans. It would've been fairly odd. Tybalt was very pleased that in the end he'd chosen Hogwarts New Zealand. He found himself smiling about it. Though it was just a way of his mind telling him to stop thinking about the person she thought he looked like. The other boy with vision like his.

He was happy to meet all the people with all the different nationalities. Tybalt hadn't really met many before. His hometown was a very small town with a very small population. It generally wasn't even on the map, so he hadn't met that many people from many different places. It had been a pretty new experience for him, but he loved it. Even though the boy couldn't claim that he was very good at social interaction, he could always claim, no matter what that he truly loved meeting new people. Even if he wasn't very good at being the one to start the conversation he still loved meeting many different people from many different places. He was glad to, it made him feel more like part of the huge world that they lived in. "I've seen that. It's pretty cool" The boy said. He really did agree with what she had said. He thought it was so much better that there were a lot of different nationalities. The magical community was pretty wide spread, and having places with large magical communities than others was a lot better than keeping things very scattered. He smiled at her, A hufflepuff, the house he had truly believed that he would be sorted into. Not that he had any problems with people being Hufflepuff. He didn't understand entirely the reason behind sorting, but he had been sure that Hufflepuff would be the place for him. "I do, it is very good house. I'm a Gryffindor, and I like it a lot." Tybalt smiled at her. "I had thought I would be a Hufflepuff. I pretty much had my heart set on it, but the sortin' hat thought differently than I." Tybalt shrugged slightly and looked down at his feet. "I'm happy either way though. Just a lot of pressure I find to being a Gryffindor. I am not as brave as the rest of them." The boy admitted giving a small shrug and looking up at the girl.

Kate had learned some things about all the different traditions in some nationalities. She remembered in first year celebrating Tara's birthday party. It had been fun and totally unexpected. She had never had a paint party before and it had certainly been a new experience but a fun one. They had been destroyed afterwards but there had been a great buzz. They hadn't had a big get together in ages. They hadn't talked to each other in ages. The group they had originally had was no more no longer.Kinda sad really because they had been a close group. Most of the lads she hadn't seen since second year.It was weird how you could separate from people so easily with out noticing. What puzzled her was that she hadn't seen them.Maybe if she saw them around she could talk to them but she didn't think so.She had changed a lot too so things probably wouldn't be the same. She was no longer the little innocent hufflepuff girl from Ireland any more. She had grown up, not fully but had matured a lot in the past few years.Everyone grew up and changed that was the way of life.Kate didn't like change much, she preferred things to stay the same that is if she liked the way things were.If she was unhappy she welcomed change as long as it was a better change and not worse. But in fairness to some people Kate had a good life. She had a good family ,friends, boyfriend and a lovely home and a good school. Some people would kill for even one of these things so no matter how bad life got she just had to remember that compared to some lives her's was brilliant and she wasn't exactly complaining. She appreciated what life had given her even though it had also given her some bumps along the way.But she had climbed over them and life was doing good at the moment. For the first time in a couple of years Kate was happy in school and outside.

It was pretty cool and the nationalities. It was great that there were only a few schools ,if there were schools in every country well then it wouldn't have the individuality of having so many nationalities and they wouldn't all be castles.Well maybe they would be but part of what made Hogwarts so special was the fact it was different. It wasn't the same as most of the muggle secondary school. It was a huge surprise for Kate when she first came to Hogwarts to see it was a castle. That was something she hadn't been expecting.Who pictures their secondary school as a huge castle. She hadn't been sure what she was expecting but castle, certainly not on her list. She loved it though,it was so much better then the traditional schools. The ones in Ireland anyways. There weren't many old schools, a lot of them were newly built but you couldn't beat a warm castle. It was a huge and a big plus was that it was magical. One of the reasons she loved Hogwarts so much was the whole magical aura around the place.Made it so much more special. It wasn't the same anymore.Things felt different inside there due to a lot of stuff happening inside the walls. She still loved Hogwarts though and she would miss it when she was gone. "That's great"She said glad that he was enjoying himself in Hogwarts. She would hate for someone to not enjoy themselves in school.Kate smiled sympathetically at him "Well you shouldn't feel pressure, the hat put you there for a reason and though it isn't apparent now I'm sure in time you will feel like you belong"Kate said smiling kindly.

The problem was he did feel pressured, he knew that no matter how hard he tried he always would. His heart did not feel like it belonged in a house of the most noble of people. He knew that it would be crazy. Crazy to think that he would ever fit into such an amazing place. He had never expected himself to get into a place like Gryffindor. It was above him. He was too weak, too silly to be in such a house. The young boy knew however that he was in it. That he couldn't do anything about that. He was in the house, and he was into for the long haul. He didn't have the option to change. It seemed the houses were permanent. Which he had always hoped wouldn't actually be true. He just knew that it was. He couldn't stop it from being true. it was the fact of the matter. It was something he would have to deal with because if he didn't he was going to find himself more at a loss than ever before. If he didn't deal with it, there would still be no changing it. He had to learn to accept the fact. He was a Gryffindor feeling just like a pathetic little creature. He was no more than a tiny fly in a very happy and bold room. He had no idea how the hat had even thought that he would be a good fit the gracious house that he was in, but he was in it and there was no changing the fact. The one thing he had to start doing was accepting it. However for a boy like Tybalt who had no confidence in himself or his abilities it was like asking a dodo to fly without giving it the appropriate equipment to do so. As much as the young Gryffindor wanted to fit in with his house, he knew it would be hard. He knew it would be. He had no way of changing that. He knew that it would be a lot easier for him to do.

The fact of the matter was that it would take a lot more of his time than he had ever imagined it would. Thankfully however the boy was as determined as he could be. He wanted to prove himself really bad and so he would do everything in his power to do something like that. He would work hard, he would always work hard. it didn't matter if he was at the last leg of a race, with everyone a foot behind. He was going to work until he was the best Gryffindor to have ever passed through the main doors of the school. "I know, I think I just need to get adjusted. This school is very different from my last." The boy said with a small nod of his head. As if repeating the words to himself rathering than in speaking and replying to the girl. He wondered if it was maybe time for him to leave the girl be. He knew that the chances were she was doing something a lot more important that him. She was older, that was what she did. "Thank you, for all your help." He started, looking down at the floors as if to find the words and then looking back up at her. "Can I come to you, if I have any more question about the friend, who I look like?" Tybalt thought it was nothing, but it was worth a try. Afterall she was the second person to tell him that he looked like someone, and something told him it was the same person that they thought he took after. He just had to find this person, or just wait till something else happened to show that they were maybe connected somehow. "I don't want to pester you much longer. I imagine as an older student you have a lot more to do, than I do."

Kate had always felt right in the Hufflepuff house. She just knew once she had joined the table after being sorted that the Hat had made a wise decision not that it never made a wise decision but Kate had known that this was definitely the right house for her.She and Hufflepuff were meant to be.The 'puffs were loyal, kind, friendly and honest.Kate had always been like that.People may tease their house and say the 'rest' get put into Hufflepuff but that wasn't true.Sure they weren't the bravest, smartest or most cunning but they were the friendliest. There was nothing wrong in being friendly or loyal or kind.Kate was still brave and smart and cunning to some degree but something inside her had stuck out so the hat had placed her in Hufflepuff. She loved her house, the common room was always so warm, with comfy sofas and a nice big fire. The golden colors of the room made it feel nice and cozy.If she had the option Kate would never swap or change to a different house. The Hufflepuffs were a great bunch and they all had great laughs at the meeting at the beginning of the year and nearly everyone got on.There was always a great atmosphere in the Hufflepuff common room.Something that would lift your spirits when you needed it most.Kate had a feeling that at the moment Tybalt wasn't feeling that way with his house. It reminded her a lot of the situation with her brother. She bit her lip,she didn't this young boy to change or anything just to fit in.That probably wouldn't end well

"You know my brother was sorted into Slytherin"Kate began looking down at her hands. She felt guilty for what had happened to Ryan.Maybe if she hadn't been so involved with herself she would have seen it sooner "It had been a big shock to us,everyone all his friends thought he would have been sorted into Gryffindor. He didn't take it very well"She said looking up again and smiling slightly at the boy in front of her "He tried to change. He didn't like not fitting in,being an outcast in his own house. He changed who he was,he tried to be more like them instead of being himself and well it ended badly"She said "So don't try and change who you are or try to be more brave or loyal or what ever.Just be yourself that's all anyone can ask for"Kate said her smile a bit wider. She hoped those words helped somewhat, maybe set his mind at ease even the tiniest bit.Kate smiled "No bothers"She said, she didn't mind helping him.Helping other was what she did best. She liked giving advice. "Sure you can and would you mind if I could come to you to ask questions?"She asked, she really hoped this lead somewhere. Kate laughed and sighed "Not really but I should really get going."She said stopping for a second trying to remember why she had come to the library in the first place "It was really nice meeting you Tybalt and if you ever needing anything just come to me and I'll see what I can do"She said smiling warmly

He had never really considered changing as such. Just being slightly less like himself to fit in a lot more with the people that surrounded him. He felt it would be better if he was just a little more like them. Gryffindors were all so adventurous and brave, and he just wasn't. He was just Tybalt. A boy who got a little bit scared of just about everything. He didn't really amount to anything else and he didn't think he meant much else to folk either. Tybalt thought of himself as the odd one out. The one who was in the group but didn't appear like they should be. It was hardly comforting, or encouraging thoughts that he gave himself, but Tybalt was not actually the kind of person who knew who he was yet. He saw life differently, he was different. He was scared of a lot of things, and he was sensitive. He had always been. He knew he wasn't really meant to be like that, but he felt like it. He knew that at his last school, he couldn't change in any matter of way for things to stop. He was the small boy whose dad came from outside the town, and the family where the males couldn't see any form of colour. He was just stuck with that name. At Hogwarts he saw it as a chance to change to work hard and do something more with his life. To be someone stronger, better. Just be more like a gryffindor in every respect. Tybalt gave the girl a small smile. Glad he had not been sorted into Slytherin. As much as he didn't really mind where he'd gotten sorted, Slytherin would've been the worst possible choice for him. He was small, he was weak and he was an easy target for anyone who believed him to be a target. It was just a lot better that he wasn't that, and that he was just another Gryffindor. He thought he didn't fit in well there, but he knew he'd fit in even less around Slytherins. He had no idea how he would've been able to function with that many bullies around him. At least he was sure that in Gryffindor there weren't that many who specifically would pick on him. However, despite this, he found himself smiling at her words. She was nice, she was friendly and she seemed a lot nicer than most of the other people the young Gryffindor ended up being around before this school.

He didn't think he would be able to be as brave, or as loyal as he needed to be for Gryffindor, but always believed in giving things their best shot, and this was definitely what he wanted to do here. He loved Hogwarts so far. It was so different from what he was used to. It was better, and that was the more important point. He thought that those who came out the school saying they hated it, just hadn't met the right people or tried hard enough. After all things for him could be so much worse. He knew that. With the Archer luck it wasn't hard to think that it could be. "I won't change." The boy said, giving her a small smile. He didn't want to change. He had no intentions of changing. Not entirely. He thought he didn't matter much, and he believed that he was a waste. But, he didn't think that changing himself was make him less of nothing. So, why bother. The little bits, like being more brave would just come and they wouldn't change how much he mattered. "I don't mind at all." He really didn't. He wanted to know more about this mysterious person who he was supposedly meant to look like. How could it be, and how was it actually possible. "Thanks again. Seriously" He gave the girl a last smile, before collecting his belongings, pushing his glasses back up his nose and heading out of the library, feeling much better than earlier. He hoped one day he'd maybe be able to help people like she had just helped him. It seemed like a good thing to do. And he knew what it was like to just be having a not so good day. It wasn't fun. Helping in any way he could would make him feel a lot better.
