Isaiah starred at the badge on his uniform, unsure of what to even think of it, he hadn't thought he would get such an award, he had never thought of himself as good enough to be prefect, and yet the badge stood proudly out on his clothes, the teen had told his parents about it, and they'd been thrilled, both father and step-father, and he was sure if his mother was still alive that she too would've been thrilled but a part of Isaiah wondered why it was him, and why he'd been the one to get it, it had been during the break that Isaiah had talked to his family about his sexuality, he'd since the fun with Archie and the LGBT+ event given more thought about what he was, and had decided that the best thing for him to do was to tell them about it, talk to them, and they'd been more than open about his admission, bisexual and proud of it. This year would be filled with many good things, most of all his younger brothers, whom he couldn't wait to show around, and to tell them all about the different things of this school, Isaiah was happier about them being at the school than the badge on his clothes.
Isaiah waved goodbye happily to his two brothers as they walked away, leaving the great hall, Isaiah was proud of them both, sticking together and in the same house, he would've been happiest with them with him, but he knew that it would fine, as long as they were together, he knew they'd be fine. He loved his brothers so much and it brought him so much joy to watch them in the school, adorning their uniform and just generally being happy, their smiles to him were enough to light up the sun, Isaiah turned back to his half eaten breakfast, he'd been so occupied in making sure they were alright and settling in fine as he did every morning they ate together than he'd forgotten about his own food, the food right in front of him, and now he had mostly soggy cereal. However the teen was glad that he managed to find out they were doing fine and just tucked into his breakfast, more at ease than anything else, he had a lot on his plate, but Isaiah felt confident that he would manage.
