Avarice felt bad for having caused the other girl to fall. But it did tell her that she of all people was more stable on her feet. Even taking into account the heels that were upon her feet. She just nodded as the girl spoke, thankful the words out her mouth were french. it was ever so often that a person at Beauxbatons spoke a language that was distinctly not french. Ava didn't often mind, but still, this was France and she believe that the people that came to Beauxbatons would have the decency to learn the language. It was slightly strange of her to think this considering she could speak English, a little German. But she would only use them if she was in that country, or someone else was having great difficulty understanding her french. "It is. Too bright." Avarice agreed, smiling slightly, as the other girl took her hand and she helped her to her feet. She had to hold out one hand, to be sure that in helping the girl that she didn't fall over. It took Avarice a few seconds to once again feel completely steady on her feet. She was inwardly cursing the heels on her feet. They caused really nothing but bother, but Avarice would wear them, to make her sisters happy. Avarice nodded as the girl said her name. Ava just nodded, because she was busy fixing her skirt, which had risen up as she had bent down. Of course even as she did this, the skirt didn't go down by much. Avarice's skirt was one from before she'd had a growth spurt. And while it still fitted her around the waist, it was now more like a mini skirt. Avarice knew this brought unwanted attention, but she was (unknowlingly) veela, so no matter what she did, she would always get the attention of the boys. It was really just how she used this attention. As in, not at all. Avarice didn't bother with boys, in her mind they brought nothing but annoyance and anger. She of course had friends that were boys, but Avarice was not interested in anything else apart from friendship, Friendship she had.
Avarice nodded once more, and before she could agree the girl had her hands in her hair. Making it straight. It made Avarice blush, a light red upon her cheeks. "I'm sorry, I just got up, My hair must be a mess." Avarice raised a hand and brush her hair through the lose curls. "I would very much like to go someone less sunny. I'm Avarice Vanity. I'm not vain." Avarice said quickly adding the little comment about her name. She knew it didn't actually show her to be less vain, but she thought it was better to get the word out there, before Tessa made any assumptions about her. "It's just a name. Shall we go to the Hall or something?" Avarice asked, moving out of the suns path and into an area of shade. "Unless you have somewhere else to be." Avarice wasn't sure that Tessa would even want to be her friend. It wasn't a unfair assumption that she wouldn't want to be. Avarice knew that while she was very friendly and kind, and honest, people tended to stay well away from her. She hadn't quite pinpointed as to why this was. Avarice didn't btoher to look too into it. It wasn't a good thing, because if she did, it would make her feel as though something was wrong with her. Something that made others stay away. Whether it was the blonde curls, or the fact she had two sisters and each had a different hair colour. And it was true. Avarice was actually a natural brunette gone blonde, Aphrodisia was a natural blonde gone Brunette. And Penchant was ginger. But Avarice didn't think about it, so it didn't bother her. So she just went about her day, ignoring it. Plus, she knew it was there loss. Avarice knew she was a good friend. "I can understand if you have somewhere else to be. Really."
