Falon Urie had turned up to the Feast, already in a bad mood. It was her first Halloween, and her brother - her twin brother - had ditched her. Sure, yeah, they were supposed to make friends, but she couldn't believe that her twin had gone with Lyra. Falon liked Lyra, and didn't care that she was best friends with Felix, but this was Halloween! And she had no one to go with. She almost didn't go. But she managed to think up a costume that fit her mood perfectly.
Clutching her fake sword to her side, Falon the Warrior stormed into the Hall. Now that she was here, she didn't know what to do. She huffed, before heading over to get herself a drink. Turning around, Falon had a sip before her eyes landed on a certain Ravenclaw boy that she had a bone to pick with. A smirk grew on her face and she charged her way towards him, before smacking his arm softly to get his attention. "Hey. Jerk." Falon exclaimed, waiting for Silus to turn around so she could pour her drink on him.

Silus was glowering near the punch bowls, in quite a foul mood. He had recently spied the moron he'd thwacked in the eye, and the fool was with none other than Lyra. How could she do this to him? He glared at the two. Lyra was dressed in a spectacular pink ballgown, and Silus was having trouble looking anywhere else, until he felt a soft smack on his arm and someone calling him a jerk. Fantastic. He thought to himself. He sighed, and made sure that when he turned around there would hopefully be wide gap between himself and whoever had dared insult him. Silus was not in a mood to be messed with, certainly not now. And so he turned, looking down, his features harsh, and crossed his arms, causing the wings of his dark angel inspired costume to spread.

Falon gulped as the boy turned around. He was very intimidating, especially as his wings spread. She wondered what made him decide to dress like an angel, it was very ironic considering his attitude was nothing angelic. Falon breathed deeply and tried to be intimidating as well. She was dressed as a warrior for Merlin's sake! She could take this guy on. Thinking that tossing a drink was too low, Falon tilted her head up, being confident. "You hit my brother. An eye for an eye, mate." She said, angrily, before moving forward, her fist balled up, moving towards the boy's face.

Lyra was having a blast with Felix at the Halloween Feast. She was surprised by how easy it was to be around him and how much fun she always had when they were together. The brunette had been laughing all night long. She was standing near the drink table with Felix when the Gryffindor's green eyes found two familiar shapes. Silus and Falon. "Uh oh." Lyra said, handing her drink to Felix before rushing across the room with her skirts flowing out behind her. Falon looked like she was about to hit Silus. She knew that wouldn't go well, and she didn't want either one of them getting in trouble. Fighting in the middle of the feast would certainly get them in trouble. They were both her friends, but for some reason, Silus seemed to show everyone else his worst side. Lyra knew he was better than he pretended to be."Falon, wait!" she said, stepping between the pair.

Silus's cold gaze came down to meet a dark-haired girl dressed up like a warrior. What did she want?
He smirked as he heard an audible gulp from her. He noted that she was attempting to come off as intimidating, and she did look quite fearsome, but one, Silus towered over nearly everyone, two, she was a girl, and three, Silus was not the kind of person who was easily intimidated. He did that to other people, they didn't do it to him. He was slightly amused as she tilted her head, and announced in a rather bold tone that she was going to avenge her brother. Ah. So she must be that twit, Felix's sister. Apparently that was where all the backbone went. "So you're brother is so weak as to allow his sister to defend him?" He said in mock surprise, his brow arched. The girl then balled up her fist, and Silus was about to grab it mid-air and show her just how friendly he was to people who tried to assault him, when with a flash of pink, someone stepped in between the two of them. He growled, about to give hell to the both of them when to his astonishment, saw it was Lyra!

Falon somehow managed her redirect her flying fist as a familiar face jumped in front of her. Her eyes narrowed as she realized it was Lyra. "What?!" Silus made a comment about her brother being weak. It made her blood boil. "No, he's just more of a man than you, he doesn't go around hitting people for no reason. Luckily, I don't have to try to be a man." Falon growled, trying to push past Lyra. "Lyra, just move!" She said with a huff, but not wanting to hurt her. If it were anyone else, she'd just push them out of the way.

Lyra looked at her fellow Gryffindor, easily seeing how upset she was at having been stopped. Having a twin herself, she knew how upset she would have been if someone dared to harm Link. Of course, Felix had antagonized Silus slightly, as she had found out later. "Silus! Stop that. Stop it now." she demanded, expecting him to listen to her if he wouldn't listen to anyone else, not that she had any reason for that."You should be ashamed of yourself. Don't talk about Felix like that." she scolded him. Lyra didn't understand what Silus had against Felix in the first place. Shel was confident that he wouldn't harm her though. The brunette looked back at Falon as she told Lyra to get out of the way."No. I'm not going to let you hit him." Lyra said, stubbornly with her nose up in the air. She knew she probably looked ridiculous standing between the pair with her slight size and bubblegum pink ballgown and tiara. "You will get in trouble for starting a brawl at the feast." she said, staying in between the pair.

Silus snorted, all amusement completely gone. He narrowed his eyes at warrior girl and moved slightly backwards, not wanting to step on Lyra's gown. "Don't be a fool! He happened to be very deserving of that black eye he sports!" Silus said, his voice razor sharp with annoyance. He scowled as Lyra began to reprimand him. While he wasn't ashamed, he did feel a twinge of guilt. That girl had that effect on him and he was hating it. He gritted his teeth and wished he could tell her not to say such as she told the girl she wouldn't let her hit him. It made him look like some sort or spineless idiot like Felix, and he wouldn't allow that. "Doesn't matter, Lyra. It's inevitable when your me. Someone's always out to piss me off!" He hissed in a low voice, but the words felt odd in his mouth. Ugh. Was this really happening? He thought miserably, noting how ridiculous the situation looked. He tightened his arms around his chest and felt the tips of his ears redden. Moving around slightly, he hoped to block the three of them out of view with his wings.

Lyra narrowed her eyes at Silus as he told her it didn't matter. Her temper flared at his hissed words. Lyra didn't think he had ever spoken to her in that manner. She couldn't believe the difference in his tone of voice when he spoke to her. Was that how he talked to everyone else? She didn't know what she had done to upset him, but he wasn't going to continue to speak to her that way, and she wasn't going to let Falon get in trouble. "Fine. Have it your way, Silus. I shouldn't have bothered." she said, turning away from him. "Falon, please. Come with me. You really don't want to get in trouble with Professor Kingsley over him. It isn't worth it." she said to her friend, ignoring Silus. She was a bit surprised Felix hadn't followed her and wondered if he had lost sight of her in the crowd.

Silus bit his lip and wished he could've taken back what he'd said earlier to Lyra as she narrowed her eyes and turned her back to him. She'd never really treated him that way before, even after all he'd done in the past, and it made him nauseous in a way. He grimaced, he could bear to have everyone hate him, but not her. He had made the one person who put up with his antics angry with him, and he was now determined to change that. His expression softened, and he moved around where he could see Lyra's face again. He gave her an apologetic look, almost pleading her with his eyes to stop being mad at him. He shifted his gaze briefly to the other girl who was apparently Falon. "Lyra," He said softly, in a barely audible voice. "An eye for an eye." He said beding his knees to try to shorten his height somehow. "She's not going to go anywhere with you unless she gets what she wants." He said matter-of-factly. I can't believe I'm doing this, but honestly, just anything to get Lyra back on my side. He thought with a scowl. "Go on. Get it over with." He said gesturing for Falon to hit him. It wouldn't hurt, he was sure.

Lyra was still looking at Falon when Silas came back into her line of vision. His face had clearly softened, and he looked almost apologetically at her. He said her name in the tone she normally associated with him, and he had her attention immediately. Her green eyes widened as he spoke. Lyra could hardly believe what he was saying as he offered to let Falon hit him. Somehow, she knew it was for her. The Gryffindor girl threw up her hands in exasperation. "Fine! I give up." she said, moving out of Falon's way.

Falon tutted when Lyra asked her to go, otherwise she'd get into trouble. She didn't care about getting into trouble, she'd gladly have a detention for standing up for her brother. But she was seeing red still, as Silas had called her a fool. What a mean person! It made Falon feel like saying words that her mom had always told her not too. But at least he was right about one thing; she wasn't going anywhere. She smirked when Silas said she must get it over with. As soon as Lyra moved out of Falon's way, she threw her fist at the boy. She didn't want to hesitate in case Lyra had second thoughts. Falon hoped it hurt.
