Alianne Finch had dramatically changed in the past five years. The girl that she was before she met Izaak Jay Finch was almost unrecognizable. The blonde woman was still the same vivacious, energetic woman that she had been when she first met Izaak. However, she had matured and grown to love not only one, but two other people more than her own life. Once, Aly had been restless, floating from this to that, never staying with one person or in one place for more than a month or two. Everything had changed. Alianne now had her loving, handsome husband and her adorable, precious son to keep her roots planted firmly where she was. There wasn't anywhere in the entire world that the young mother would rather be.

Alianne placed the wide, striped hat over her head to shade her face from the blazing sun. It was a beautiful, clear summer's day. Aly looked around at the pristine sand that was the beach near the Finches' home. The woman grinned as a little toddler called out "Mommy! Hurry up!" Her amethyst eyes found those strange ones of her son, Liam. His eyes were a brilliant mixture of his mother's purple and father's bright blue. The combination was a stunning and miraculous indigo color, very unique. She looked at her husband who was holding the little boy's hand. Aly laughed at the pleading eyes and nodded her head. "I'll be right there, love." she responded. She finished setting up the blanket with all of their beach things before stripping off her cover-up. She was just as thin as she had ever been despite the fact that she had given birth to a child. Alianne had labored intensely to gain her fit figure back after Liam's birth. It had taken a bit longer than she wanted to shed those last ten pounds, but she had been determined to do so. Izaak's surfing career was going so well, and she was often clad in only her bathing suit. Alianne didn't want any photographers snapping a picture of the champion's chunky wife.

Alianne left her shoes by the blanket. The sand was hot, but the feeling of it underneath her toes releaved any stress she might have been holding on to. She sprinted down to where Izaak and Liam stood, just where the waves were licking their feet. Aly bent down and kissed Liam on his cheek before rising to kiss her husband on his lips. "So what would my two favorite boys like to do today?" she asked the pair. She had a feeling that her son would repeat his wish to learn to surf, but Aly was flatly refusing to let him do that. For goodness sakes! He was only two! She was adamant that he needed to wait until he was at least five. Aly did know that Izaak brought his surfboard and that he might have to practice for a bit. Selfishly, she hoped this wasn't the case. She wanted to spend the day together as a family.
