Stefan, after classes and dinner, decided to go for a run in the forest before going to rest, because he didn't have time to go for a morning run in the morning, so he decided to run several kilometers in the evening. He put on black shorts and a black shirt, and his favorite boots. Then he left the palace and began to run slowly, because at first Stefan knew he couldn't rush everything, he had to start slowly, because that's what the swimming coach taught him. He sometimes regretted that he had to give up swimming as soon as Beauxbatons started, that he couldn't continue because of his studies, although Stefan didn't give up on that, he tried to make time for swimming when he had the chance.

As soon as he got close to the forest, his running pace was quickened to cover the kilometers he had planned. He breathed as he was taught and tried to keep a rhythm between inhalations and exhalations. A light wind caressed his face and hands. Stefan knew that it must be sunset soon and he couldn't miss it because sunsets were more beautiful than sunrises.

Celine enjoyed her solitude at school- she talked with her roommates sometimes and that was enough to keep her going. She was out that evening, taking a run of her own- but she'd been out for a bit longer, and was circling back. She was a bit annoyed when she came across a boy. She'd seen him sometimes, usually taking the routes she liked for running. "Oh, come on," She complained, slowing a bit as he came into view. "What, you don't have anything better to do?" She snapped a bit. "Stop following me, you creep,"

Stefan wouldn't have noticed his schoolmate if her voice hadn't been heard. When he ran, he did not pay attention to anyone around him, but only concentrated on his pace and running. "What's wrong?" he asked, turning to the girl. "No, it's not. Do you have any complaints?" he stepped closer to the girl, looking directly at her. 'I don't follow you. Why should I have you? Creepy? I can bet that I run much faster than you.''

Celine scrunched her nose. "You? Faster? Puh-lease," She scoffed at him. "I could run circles around you. Why do you keep popping up where I'm running?" She crossed her arms, scowling. He was certainly a jerk, wasn't he? She didn't back down, just glaring at him.

Stephen was looking at the girl with a serious look. "Of course I could be faster than you. Can we make a bet?" he approached her closer. "You could. Do you mind if I run right where you are?" He put his hands behind his back and looked at her with a slight smile on his face. Of course he saw and also felt from the intuition of her voice that she was angry, but it amused him.

Celine stepped back as he stepped forward. "Stay out of my face," She snapped, tempted to just hit him and be done with it. "Why should I bother giving you that much attention?" She demanded. "In order to make a bet you have to have something I want, and I doubt I'd ever want anything from you."

Stefan noticed that she was backing away until he took a step closer. "Your request will be easy to fulfill," he said in a calm voice, but a little irritation inside. ''Because you called me out on being slow as a snail,'' he retorted. "First tell me what you want, then we'll see if I have what you want."

Celine snorted, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms. She considered his words- she couldn't back out of a bet with him, her pride wouldn't allow her. She finally offered her side after a silence that stretched on a little too long. "My family is making me go to this charity dinner over the next break. They're forcing me to go. If I win, you have to go with me. They'll be more focused on asking you questions I'll have a breather." She nodded, pleased with herself for the idea. She'd been looking for an out.

Stefan's face showed a grin, but it faded when we heard him laugh. Then she also made him wait until a penalty for losing was invented for him, unless of course he conceded, but it was not in his nature to concede at all. There was a moment when they had to wait until she invented a penalty for the bet. And then it sounded. At first he was shocked by it, but he didn't show it in any way, there was definitely nothing readable on his face. "It's fine, I'll go with you to the charity dinner. If you win, but if I win, then you'll have to kiss in front of the whole school." He refused, because his idea also seemed good. Now all that was left was to start. "Well, let's run on three. One, two, three.. Start." he exclaimed, then started running.

Celine was impatient to get this out of the way. She would win, prove she was better than he was, and then he'd get her family out of her hair. After that she could just get rid of him and be done with it. It was that simple. Her nose scrunched at his counter to their bet. Thank the gods there's no way I'll ever lose, She mused, rolling her neck and stretching a bit. "First to the castle doors wins," She gave him the end goal, shifting into position as he started to count.

She was off as soon as he said three. It worked in her favor that the jerk didn't know anything about her, and didn't know she'd been running since she could walk, and he certainly didn't know that she ran competitively when she was home. He was quick, she'd give him that, but she was faster and had better form.

Celine outpaced the dumb boy halfway to their goal, pulling ahead and keeping her lead. She bolted through the castle doors, not even out of breath, and waited for him to catch up, still bouncing on her feet as she wound down from the race. She smirked at him. "Better make sure to get your hands on a nice suit." She teased him.

Stefan's competitive spirit awakened, so he knew that he could only win in this case, he would give in to her, although on the other hand, letting her win would be against his inner nature, but what wouldn't he do for the girl. He nodded when she told him how far to run. Then he could take up positions, as well as decide whether to let her win or not.

As soon as he said three, she started running without even waiting for the start. Stefan started laughing, then gave her time to pull away, but started running himself, of course there would be no problem overtaking her. He ran so fast that he soon caught up with her.

Stefan started running slower halfway to let the girl win. About two minutes after her, he ran through the castle doors. He watched her as she danced a victory dance. A smile appeared on his face. ''Don't worry, there's one fine suit. Just tell me where I need to be and what time.'' he asked.
