Esmerelda Lazuli
Full Name: Esmerelda Lazuli (maiden name Esmerelda Faulkner). Esmerelda kept the Lazuli name when her husband died to remind her of her mistakes (see family), and also because the Lazuli family is more prestigious than the Faulkners, with a reputation for being pureblood and Dark Side.
Current Age: 41 years.
Basic Appearance: Esmerelda is tall, and carries herself with dignity. She has curly, untameable black hair, and green eyes.
Personality: Esmerelda is a strong and courageous woman, who isn't prepared to let anyone stand in her way. She has few regrets, and is stubborn and independent.
Family: Esmerelda murdered her husband, Lorenzo Lazuli, due to her desire to be a Death Eater. It is the only thing she regrets. Lorenzo recently returned as a ghost, to haunt Esmerelda. Before his death, she had a daughter with him, Lapis Lazuli. Esmerelda cares deeply about Lapis, but their relationship is strained because Lapis is unhappy about her mother's affiliation with the Dark Side.
Pets: Not exactly. Esmerelda hates animals, but Lapis has a black cat which she grudgingly accepts. As long as she doesn't have to take care of it.
Area of Residence: Dunedin, New Zealand. Esmerelda moved to Dunedin with Lorenzo from England, before Lapis was born.
Blood Status: Unknown, but Esmerelda suspects she is a pureblood.
Heritage: Esmerelda comes from a relatively largeIrish family, who moved to England several years before she was born. She doesn't keep contact with most of her family, as they don't share her interest in the Dark Side. The only family members Esmerelda sees regularly are Cassandra Calbrese, her cousin and best friend, and Katie Swan, Cassandra's niece.
Special Abilities:None that Esmerelda (or I, for that matter) is aware of.
Interests or Hobbies: Esmerelda enjoys reading, spending time with friends, and causing mayhem.
Additional Skills: Esmerelda has fast reflexes, and is good at casting dark spells.
Strengths: Courage, confidence, loyalty (to those she feels deserve it).
Weaknesses: Easily angered, sometimes rash. Esmerelda also has a strong bond with Lapis, which she sees as a weakness because people could use it against her.
Friends: Esmerelda is generally a loner; her one true friend is Cassandra Calbrese.
Hogwarts House: Slytherin, of course.
Hogwarts Hopes and Ambitions For almost as long as she can remember, Esmerelda has wanted to be a Death Eater.
Best school subjects: Charms and Potions.
Worst school subjects: Herbology; Esmerelda never really saw the point in this, despite her interest in Potions. History of Magic; Esmerelda found this boring.
Extracurricular Activities: None.
GraduationEsmerelda's only enthusiasm about her graduation was that she could now get on with the rest of her life.

Plans for your future: Now that Esmerelda has fulfilled her dream of becoming a Death Eater, she doesn't have any specific plans. Except hopefully finding a way to get rid of Lorenzo's ghost.
