Cyndi walked toward the Great Hall dressed in costume just like everyone else. It had taken her a while to think of what to be, but finally Cyndi had settled on a muggle baseball player. She wondered how many of the students would recognize what she was trying to be since she knew some of them, especially those from wizarding families, had never seen or even heard of baseball. Cyndi herself had never seen a baseball game but she knew she had the costume down right because she had found a picture of a baseball player and used it as a model.
Halloween was one of her favorite times of year because the Halloween feast was always so much fun and because it signaled that the holidays were just around the corner. As she entered the hall, Cyndi passed by Kat and the head girl who both looked fabulous in their costumes.
Stepping right over to the drinks, Cyndi picked up some pumpkin juice and moved over to an empty table. It was much different being here as a professor because now she was expected to watch out for the students. She hoped that nothing too crazy would happen tonight though.
