Theodore held his acoustic Guitar tightly in his hands as he made his way out onto the lawn. Theodore fiddled with the Collar of his Outfit for a moment before he let his free hand drop. Once Theodore reached what appeared to be an abandoned tree stump he settled against it and let his guitar rest in his lap.

The breeze lightly blew Theodore's hair around his face as he scanned the lawn to see who was there. His fingers began to lightly graze the guitar strings as the light sound of his guitar overpowered the breeze and sounded throughout the lawn.

Kaede had been wandering around the castle looking for nequiher first few steps she heard a soft melodic sound. Turning to look she saw and older boy playing guitar. It's so pretty she thought to herself. She had heard people play guitar before, but the song he was playing was amazing. Herself being a musician, she loved to meet other people who loved music too. This was a good opportunity, so she decided to take it.

Walking confidently but quietly up to the boy, she said softly, "Your playing is amazing." She hoped that she hadn't bugged him, but she wanted him to know that she appreciated the music he played.

Theodore looked up to see a girl who complimented his playing. He smiled at her softly. It was often that somone admired his music, not many actually knew that Theodore played music at all.

"Thanks, do you play?" He asked.

Kaede smiled as the boy ackknowledged her. "Your welcome." She really did like his music, it was unique, or at least so she thought. Considering all the music she had listened to, it was unique. He asked if she played, and that made her smile widen a bit. Talking about music was something that brought life into her. Music was her passion. "Actually," She said in a friendly tone. "I don't play guitar, but I've been singing and playing piano since I was three." Realizing that she hadn't introduced herself, her pale cheeks turned a cherry red. Embarrassed, but refusing to continue to be nameless, she said, "Oh, my name's Kaede by the way."

Her cheeks kept their red color, as she hoped she hadn't made a fool of herself.

"I'm Theodore Snow. Nice to meet you." Theodore placed his hands back onto his guitar and slowly began to start a new song that he just learned not to long ago.

"Piano eh, is it hard?" Theodore asked.

The boy said his name was Theodore. She had never heard of that name before. Back home she barely got to leave, and she never went on trips with her parents, so she had only been to Japan and a few places when she was very small. "Piano's not too hard, you just have to learn the position of the notes. You also have to practice, but otherwise it's pretty easy to learn." She liked being able to play piano, but she wanted to expand her musical abilities. Guitar had always been something she had wanted to learn, but she had never had the time. "Is guitar hard? How long have you been playing?"

Theodore laughed before muttering; "I just wouldn't be able to remember what key is what note and such." Theodore answered shrugging. To him, the piano seemed way beyond his learning. Even the drums somewhat bothered him. But his guitar seemed to give him the freedom to play well and enjoy it at the same time.

"I've been playing since I seven. And it's not so hard once you learn what all the chords are."

Kaede laughed at his comment. "That's how I started out, but eventually I ended up figuring it out, and I just kept working at it. I admit I didn't always practice when I was told to, but over time it gets easier and easier." Guitar was one of the instruments Kaede had always wanted to try, but her parents refused. They didn't want there prestigious friends knowing that their daughter played guitar instead of something classical like a piano or violin. She had always secretly wanted to though.

"Oh wow. That's a really long time." She smiled at the thought of learning how to play guitar one day. "Really? Or is that just because you've been playing so long?" Her tone was teasing, but in a friendly way.
