After a long practice with the school broom and with a much added bruises on her legs from falling off. Teagan Maxwell quit on trying to impress her father by joining the Ravenclaw quidditch team next year, she just had had it. Doing the basics was crucial enough let alone trying out for the team and beside, Teagan can't even learn the game let alone play it. Tired and achy all over, the young lady acquired a seat at the student lounge by the fire place. The quiet atmosphere was all she needed. With no one else in the room, Teagan let herself took the whole couch and laid there. She sighed with relief and thought about the school year ending, Teagan was waiting for that since she got here last year. The young lady barely made friends maybe because she was picky, nevertheless, she never cared much.

Zared hated everyone, or well, he hated practically everyone, the only person he didn't hate with Lestat and that was really it, he didn't like anyone and he hated having to talk to anyone. The person he hated the most currently though was Lestat's twin sister who was just an absolute misery to have to know, always thinking of herself as better and just generally being pretty annoying. After she'd punched him hard in the throat he had definitely had a very low opinion of her and tried his best to avoid her, though if he did see her to just ignore what she was saying or be pretty annoying. Today, with exams coming up, Zared had left Lestat to his own devices to get a little bit of reading done, citing that he just wanted some peace and had wandered up to the student lounge, it wasn't a place he usually went since it was always fairly noisy but he'd decided today he might just venture to it, and was therefore at the room with a book under his arm and a neutral expression sitting on his face. But, the room itself was actually pretty quiet when he arrived there was a small hum of noise but nothing too bad, and the young slytherin spotted a spot close to the fire he wanted to sit at, the only issue was a girl was already sitting at it. Not one to back down, and with Lestat as his friend he just walked over, a scowl on his face before taking the seat next to hers without a word, pulling out his book and beginning to read, with not one glance towards the girl. he didn't bring up that she was lying completely on the seat giving no room to anyone else, which was of course rude but he would've never said anything mostly because that would require him wanting to actually talk and really he never wanted to do that.

I hope you don't mind me joining this!

The young lady tilted her head to look at the crackling fire, it gives a sense of sleepiness to her. Slowly, her eyes droop to a close when she felt the couch move, Teagan opened one eye and saw a guy with a book not minding that her feet was also on the couch. She opened her eyes fully, "You know, manners are invented so that society won't act like animals." She stated to the guy. Without asking he just sat there and didn't said anything or even ask if the seat is free to sit on. Teagan wasn't in no mood to fight over for a couch. With that said, she placed her feet on the guy's lap whether he pushes it or not. The young lady was there first.

Zared didn't even glance up when the girl started speaking, he was too preoccupied by his interesting book to look up, though it didn't stop him from paying attention to him, the boy thought it was rich of her to speak of manners when she had taken up so much room without ever having thought that others might enjoy the same spot. He did however glance up when she put her feet on his laps, a curious expression sitting on his face, he didn't like this contact much at all, oh he really didn't, and so the boy just shoved her legs off his lap both quickly and not exactly calmly but he didn't add anything, he didn't say a thing about it. Zared just turned back to his book, curling up his body slightly so that she could put her legs on his lap again. He turned the page in his book and began the new chapter, it wasn't his fault she had decided to take up just so much room, that she had decided to take up all the room that she could and then be annoyed when he took up space that was justifiably his, Zared hoped that would be the end of that.

Teagan almost fell to the floor if not holding on to the couch when the guy shove her feet. She was here first, there's a saying first come first serve and this guy doesn't know bits of it. She took off her shoes and proceed to annoy the guy with the book by placing her feet behind him. "there's still time to get out of the couch." She said wiggling her feet. If he won't budge, she'll continue to annoy him until she gets what she wants. Though, Teagan won't last as her legs has been beat up by the ground too much from falling down the broom. She winced as she did. Teagan just wants to lay down and take a nap.

Zared could not understand this girl's problem, she could easily share she hadn't needed the whole thing, and he only wanted to sit in peace and read the book that was in front of him, and this was making it impossible for that. He looked back up at her with an annoyed look on his face this girl was worse than Elsyia and for Zared this was really saying something, this was a girl so annoying he wouldn't mind setting Lestat on her. The boy didn't care about why she was doing this or who she was but this was now a fight for the couch, one he wouldn't let go of. He was not some weak minded simpleton, he was a pureblood slytherin and he knew that he was better than her. He was better than crying and running away, which wasn't what he felt, this was anger in him, deep deep anger. Zared decided to sit up, ignoring this girls legs and putting his entire weight on to them, hopefully hold them in place, and he then just ignored what she was saying about it and went back to focusing on his book. The thing he'd come to do but was now the least important part of his time within the student lounge with this girl.

She wiggled her feet more, trying to push him off the couch but putting his weight on them made her loose enough energy. Though, Teagan will not loose this battle, a Maxwell never loose a battle. She forcefully pulled her feet off behind his back and said, "I was here first so get off the couch." Teagan doesn't want to kick the guy but he knew this will happen. She kicked him repeatedly, not too hard but enough to annoy him that he will eventually get off the couch and just take another one. Right now, she would just give up but no, never. The guy was too annoying to give up. "I can do this all day, Mister." Teagan told the guy. Her legs kind of relax, it was as if having an exercise.

Zared relented eventually as she pulled her feet away and he just continued reading his book, of course he was unable to really focus on it due to the mild frustration he was currently feeling towards the girl who was insisting on being an absolute stubborn witch. He didn't need this but on the principal he couldn't leave which left him in an annoying position unable to do anything, unable to move forward unable to just read, and even more so when she began kicking him, and he knew he had to options ignore it or cast a spell, use the magic they were learning to stop her from doing anything else. Though the Slytherin realised that that option had to be the last one, it couldn't be the first thing he jumped to, so instead he ignored the words she was saying that were definitely supposed to be taunting and then just focused on reading his book, not sparing a glance at her, not looking up once from what he was doing as she kicked him and though he found it endlessly annoying he was sure she would cave before he would and that was all Zared needed to do. He was also sure that he could do it, that between them his stubbornness would win out over hers, so she would be the one to give up, after all he was as silent as a mouse on most days, never speaking unless necessary this was no different than that.

Teagan frustratingly breath out her tiredness. She'd been kicking him for about five minutes now and he still wont budge. She was thinking to just let it be and share the couch but she needed to stretch. Teagan was getting tired and loosing to this arrogant guy is not an option though. She thought of something to distract him, then Teagan eyed the book he's reading. The young lady stopped kicking him and with a fast reflex of hers, she snatched the book from the guy. "I'll throw the book in an open fire if you don't get up." She threaten him as she pulled out her wand from her hair bun. It was a matter of pride now and not just the couch. Though still a first year, she was nervous to use a spell out of the classroom but trying wont hurt anybody unless it goes wary and burn half of the castle. Teagan's gaze toward the guy narrowed, she wasn't going to let go of the book nor put down her wand.

Zared had to wonder how long this girl might last doing this, and it did appear as though she could last quite a while, which was a bit of a surprise for Zared, but the boy had two younger sisters and one older brother, if he had learned anything in that house it was how to put up with things. He had a stronger will than she did perhaps, and clearly she stopped kicking because she had tired herself out, what he hadn't expected was for her to take the book from his hands, he glanced between it and her before just leaning back in the sofa and giving her a small shrug. It wasn't like it was an irreplaceable book, it wasn't a library book, but his family weren't exactly poor he'd be able to get another copy if he wanted it, it would just be if she could handle throwing the book into an open fire, so he just kept his gaze on her, almost daring her to do it, to really see if she would do it. The girl seemed like the type who might if he'd annoyed her, but in his mind she was still the one in the wrong, since she had been the one to take up all the space and not share with him when he'd arrived and decided he also wanted the seat.

They stared at each other when the guy didn't give any comment about her threat. At that moment she's thinking of a charm that a first year could use. Though, there's only one she could think off that shots fire out of a wand. Teagan, thinking she's cool and all that, not bothering to look at her target which was the fire place did the incantation for the bluebell flames spell. Which a blue jet of light came out suddenly, scaring young Teagan and dropping her wand to the floor causing the spell to hit the tapestry wall. "Oh good grief." She muttered under her breath while taking her sight off the guy. Teagan was really going to burn down the castle just because of some feud on a couch. "Know any spell that can stop that?" Teagan looked back at the guy, her expression worried. Worried that she could be expelled and worried that she could be sent off to the military. Teagan's eyes widen at the sudden climb of the flame. That made her get up from the couch.

OOCOut of Character:
any change up I can do just tell me.....

But Professors can intervene now :r

Zared felt like he'd won a small victory when she cast some spell and the book caught a lit, clearly she hadn't really intended for that to happen, and now she was suddenly asking him for help. Zared felt like he might not have won the sofa, and he'd lost a book, but this girl was now worried and he knew that this hadn't been what she'd intended to do, but he just stood up, brushing down his shirt and then gave the girl a small look before turning away and moving to leave the room, he wanted her to think he was going to get a professor, because she had after all set fire to his book which belonged to him and not the school, which was probably what she would realise. In all honesty thought Zared had little intention to go and get a professor, but he definitely wanted her to think that he was and definitely wanted her to worry about it. Maybe she'd stop him from trying to leave, he would just have to see what happened as he left the room, if she didn't call him back, he would take the small victory and then call it a day, go find Lestat or something, if she did, perhaps this little dance would continue.
