Roman stood up from the staff table and looked out over the crowd of students that were his to mould as best as he could, for now until Cecily Zhefarovich would return to take the position of Headmistress once more, not hat Roman Ivo would complain. He thought so far he was doing a decent enough job of it and even thought his staff were doing an excellent job at helping run this school as well as well. All in all the school year had been a relatively quiet one and he hoped that the years after this would not be so hectic because some people could only handle so much in this world. He made his way to the podium and looked down each house table at the various faces, some would be back next year and others would have moved on. They would also have a new group of first years to content with and he sincerely hoped they were as well behaved as this years had been.

"Good evening students. This has been a great year in regards classroom attendance, the academic achievements gained and true we did not have any quidditch but however I hear from the captains that it shall change for the following year, apologies for the seventh years for not being able to be here for Quidditch. I would like to congratulate Ravenclaw on winning the house cup, with two thousand, two hundred and sixty three points." As Roman Ivo said this, the house banners displayed in the hall to a dazzling blue and bronze, to celebrate their victory. The Ravenclaws have earned it.

"Enjoy winter vacation, and we will see most of you in September. Now, enjoy the feast," Roman clapped his hands once and the feast - full of delicious food - filled the tables. It was definitely more than enough for all the students and they would have to really dig in, as they would not receive another feast like this until the school started again and they were in a year above the one that they were currently in.

Shaylah really didn't care about this assembly. She wasn't friends with any of the seventh years. She barely even knew most of their names. The only reason she was here today was because she wanted the food. She was hungry and knew that the next few months she would be eating food that Nim got for her and that wasn't something to look forward to. The house elf may have been the person she talked to the most but that didn't mean he spent much time picking food. This feast would be the thing that kept her going through most of the holidays unless she could be bothered to pick her own food.

Shaylah groaned when Ivo said that Ravenclaw had won. Not that she had put much effort into getting house points at all. It was just the fact that Ravenclaw had won that annoyed her. She hated the other houses and looked down the Slytherin table. Most of the Slytherins were moaning or complaining about it in some way. Of course, there was the odd weirdo here and there that kept a smile on their face and congratulated the house. Shay looked up at the Slytherin banners as they changed to Ravenclaw and rolled her eyes. Blue never had been her colour.

Shay's ear pricked up when she heard the word feast. She grabbed her knife and fork and immediately started piling food on her plate. This was the reason she was here after all. Why shouldn't she stuff herself. Then again, Shay had never been known to eat much so she was surprised at how much she got down before she started feeling full and decided to leave before most other people so she could get an early night.

One more year after this and he will be done with school. Done with the lessons he failed and the ones he never completed. Done with having different roommates each year and seeing the arrivals of first year. A bit of sore spot pain the Gryffindor teenager. Done, but will soon be miss when it finally arrived for him to leave. It would be a shock when it happens, he won't believe it but it will happen for him. "The most confusing and greatest time of my life and its ending soon. Now to decide what to do after when its my time around" he mumbled softly, as the headmaster took over the podium, delivering his short speech. The house cup was given to Ravenclaw, Victor clap for the winning house congratulated them. It was about time they won, Victor look around for Jeremy, not seeing the boy anywhere he reamin in seat. Just about that time the feast was unravel, Victor would see his little friend later, now he dug into the delicious food Hogwarts had to offer. He enjoyed every bit of, savoring the pumpkin juice and roast beef, he was still undecided about 'winter vacation here'. At the last minute he decides to just go to California to enjoy his summer vacation there and hopefully get into some competition while he was there.

It seemed almost too hard to believe that the next would be Riley's last year at Hogwarts. Sitting proudly with her fellow Hufflepuff's the seventeen year old listened to the winners of the house cup. Ravenclaw, typical. she said to herself, not because she didn't think they deserved it, but mainly because she could be a sore loser when she wanted to be. "That would've been different if we'd had Quidditch!" the seeker noted, playfully nudging hew newest little friend Dimitri who, with Riley's help had been lucky enough to get a seat amongst the newest seventh years. The blond though Dimitri was about the sweetest thing since apple pie and had promised the new second year she'd show him all of the ropes before her last year at Hogwarts was up. "Second year now, huh? Biiiigggg responsibiltyyyy" she joked, a smile playing on her soft lips as she licked them hungrily, spying the feast just before her nose. "Dig in!" she told Dimirti, herself immediately reaching for a serving of icecream, not caring to have a main meal first. Looking around at her fellow sixth, well, seventh years she smiled and wondered what the year ahead had in store for them, perhaps Riley would be able to pick up her grades a little? She wouldn't count on it, but one thing she could count on was it being an amazing year for Quidditch, the seeker hoped she could help lead Hufflepuff to victory, and who knew, maybe she might even make co-captain.

Dimitri sat comfortably inside of the Great Hall, next to Riley for the End of Year Feast. This was definitely something he had sort of been looking for. He had been looking forward to it, because of the chance to be with all of his friends, and definitely Riley, but he hadn't been because it was the end of the year. Dimitri smiled at Riley, he felt a lot more comfortable next to her, "Yeah. I was actually thinking of trying out for Quidditch next year. Do you think I should?" He thought it would be a good chance for he and Riley to bond, and then maybe they could be best friends! He smiled at the thought of that. He wanted to be best friends with Riley, she was a nice girl. Maybe they could be more one day, that was probably unlikely though.

Dimitri chuckled softly at her gentle joke. He knew the only time he would ever get a big lot of responsibility is if he was made a Prefect, or Head Boy. He couldn't see that happening, though. "Yeah, a huge responsibility." Dimitri said, rolling his eyes and looking out over the feast that was now directly in front of him. He took a chicken bone and started to tear into it, a little bit more enthusiastically then he should have in the presence of a girl, but he was hungry .. Dimitri chuckled to himself, and wondered whether he actually would be any good at Quidditch or not. He wanted to do it, but he wasn't sure if he would have the patient or even the skill to make any of it happen. Maybe Riley would be able to coach him over the Holidays.

Willow sat at the Gryffindor table, thinking about her first year at Hogwarts had passed by quickly as it did when it started. She gazed down the long rows, Filled with students thinking about their holidays, who had won the house cup and many other things. But in Willow's mind, it was the thought of her first arrival, the long walk from the Great Hall doors to the front of the tables, the thoughts of what they would achieve this year - their fails and their success, the thoughts that would accompany them each and every day, the trials they face to pass exams and staying attention in classes and more importantly, the friends and the enemies that each person would make and the time spent creating memories.

To Willow, the Great Feast was just a mere temporary farewell, the moment really was to the seventh years and to Ravenclaw who had won the house cup that year. Staring at the front, she saw the smiling faces of the professors and the teary eyed seventh years, she imagined her self in that position one day, with the academic ambition to become the school's Head Girl or even just a mere Prefect.

Smiling to herself, she stared at her reflection on the shiny plates, content with the dream she was making, she dished up and ate, laughing and smiling along with everyone else.
"Gryffindors, we are so grabbing that cup next year!" She said out loud with great gust.

Riley walked into the Great Hall with mixed feelings. She had made it through her second year of HNZ, knowing that she didn't ever want to go back to home schooling. But she missed her best friend dearly. Riley took a seat at the Gryffindor table, her eyes scanning the Slytherin table trying to find Jerrod. After no success, Riley slumped back into her seat and listened to the Headmaster speak.
With finishing this year, Riley knew that she hadn't done her best. She had been to distracted with other things, but she decided at this moment, she was going to do better next year. In her hopes to become an Auror, came with the hope to become a Prefect. But she knew that it wasn't going to happen unless she stepped up her game.
Noticing the Headmaster was done, Riley was suddenly hungry. She picked up her knife and fork and stared eagerly at her plate waiting for the food to come. Riley's worries were gone as she joined in with the other Gryffindor's, laughing happily when a younger girl claimed that the Gryffindor's were going to win the house cup the next year. Riley resolved that she was going to help that come true as much as she could.

Hiria sat in the Great Hall at the end of term feast, as she had done the year before. She remembered the slight disappointment from last year, when Slytherin had won, and Ravenclaw only came a mere third place. Still, at least they hadn't been last. Hiria shifted in her seat uncomfortably, waiting for the announcement as to who had won the house cup this year, her second year. The winners were announced..... Ravenclaw had won! Hiria stood up with the rest of her house, joining in the clapping and cheering! They had won! She joyfully hugged her best friends sitting next to her, and watched with glee as the ordinary house banners all changed to the mighty Ravenclaw blue and bronze! "It's kind of ironic that we came in third last year, and bronze medals symbolise third place." She thought to herself, but no matter, this year, they got gold! She heard a girl at the Gryffindor table yell loudly that Gryffindor was going to get the cup next year. Hiria, who was usually reasonably quiet, got unusually competitive for house competition. Making herself heard, she shouted in reply "We'll see about that, won't we! RAVENCLAW RULES!" most people turned to her in surprise, as they had never her her yell, but still shouted in agreement.

After things had calmed down a bit, Hiria was happy when they announced the feast, and the food appeared magically on the plates as usual, and she dug in, whilst wondering, like last year, what the next school year would bring.

Claude entered into the hall with a combination of unimaginable joy and looming sadness. Claude had guessed Ravenclaw would win, and that was enough to make Claude jump for joy (which was very out of character for him). When it was made official, Claude and everyone else from Ravenclaw was blatantly ecstatic. It was sad to be leaving for Britain again, but Claude would be back in a few months. As Claude dug in to his feast, he remembered all of the great memories from last year and what the new year might hold. Two down, Five to go. Third year, here we come!
