Basic Appearance: Roy has grey-green eyes and they are probably the most important aspect of his character as they are the only way to truly know his emotional state. His hair is light red, but he is not averse to dying it on occasion. He likes to keep it short; because when it grows longer he thinks he looks like a girl. He is slightly built from climbing many trees as a teenager and he likes to keep physically fit. Hes about five ft eleven and a half and wont let anyone forget it. Roy is generally pretty clean shaven, but sometimes sports a beard on an off day. His nose has been broken once or twice and as such has never healed quite right.
Personality: Roy often spontaneously breaks into song or dance when he is bored or stressed. He can easily get caught up in the excitement of the moment and wants everyone else to feel that way too. He is very generous with his time and energy when it comes to encouraging others and is often irresistible to other people. Its often hard to say no to Roy because he comes off as incredibly convincing and energetic and being around him causes people to get sucked into his energetic orbit. A born entertainer, Roy loves the spotlight, he loves putting on a show for his friends and family, chatting with a unique and earthy wit, soaking up attention and making every outing feel a bit like a party. Utterly social, Roy enjoys the simplest things and theres often no greater joy for him than just having fun with a group of friends. Roy also possesses a strong aesthetic sense from grooming and outfits to a well appointed home Roy has a good eye for fashion. Knowing whats attractive the moment he sees it, Roy isnt afraid to change his surroundings to reflect his personal style and does it frequently to the chagrin of everyone. Roy is naturally curious and explores new designs and styles with ease. Though it often doesnt seem it, Roy knows its not all about him he is observant and very sensitive to others emotions. He is often the first to help someone talk about a challenging problem and will happily provide support and advice, though it is not always sound advice and probably should not be encouraged. However he is quick to avoid conflict and would rather ignore it than face it head-on.
Roys biggest challenge is that he is often so focused on immediate pleasures that he neglects the duties and responsibilities that make those luxuries possible. Complex analysis, repetitive tasks and matching statistics to real consequences are not easy activities for him. Hed much rather rely on luck or opportunity or even more simply to ask for help from his extensive circle of friends. It is often the case that he needs someone around him, to help him look after himself. Roy always recognises value and quality, which on its own is fine, however as he is also a poor planner, this can sometimes cause him to live beyond his means, spending money that he doesnt have is a real danger for him. Roy is rather more focused on leaping at opportunities than in planning out long-term goal and often finds that his inattentiveness has made most of his wanton activities unaffordable. Roy is often looked to whenever there is a real need for a laugh, playfulness and a volunteer to try something new and fun theres no greater joy for him than to bring everyone else along for the ride.
