NAME:

Elphaba's full name is Elphaba Barbara Gervais Daryn-Temple but to make it a little easier on her hand when she writes, she simply goes by Elphaba Temple, not that she is not proud of her full surname. She is often called by Elphie by her three parents (look at the family section for explanation). She was named after a character in Wicked, Elphaba Thropp, a personal favorite of both of her fathers. Her middle name is from Barbara Streisand, a muggle singer who caused her fathers to meet at a party.​

BIRTHDAY:

Elphaba was born on a cold, rainy October night in New York City. Her mother's swollen stomach was it's biggest at nine months and two weeks past her due date of October fourth, two-thousand thirteen. Instead she was born on the sixteenth as a Libra. She is now eleven years old and will be attending Hogwarts New Zealand in September 2025.

WAN

The wand Elphaba is going to get is Elder 15 1/2" Essence of Thestral Tail Hair and Elder is written to be among the most powerful of all wand woods. It symbolizes regeneration and it is believed to be a cure all within magical circles. It is also beneficial in times of transformation and change. She is afraid to actually get her wand because she doesn't yet understand magic but hopefully over time this will change as she will be spending the next seven years in school for magic.​

BLOO

Elphie's blood type is O positive and her blood status is that of a muggle born.


LIFE'S CANDY AND THE SUN IS A BALL OF BUTTER​

OVERALL APPEARANCE:

Fabala is a high cheek boned girl and if one's gaze followed up the cheek bones they would see her rosy cheeks underneath her olive skin tone. She has ebony coloured hair that rests past her shoulders, curling at the tips nicely. If her hair wasn't always up into a pony tail or pulled away from her face, Elphaba's hair could be her most significant part of her appearance. Instead her eyes are stuck in that position, although they seem unworthy. Her eyes are green and glint when she is doing something mischievous. Elphie's lips always seem to curl into a dark smile, no matter what she is feeling but she doesn't know how to smile any other way.​

STYLE:

Typically, Elphie wears conservative yet cute clothes that she believes keeps her youth as she is not the type of girl to ever wear mini-skirts or clothes that show any of her body, perhaps that is a low-self confidence issue or maybe that is because she has too much self-respect, either way she will not wear tight skinned clothes, or anything that shows her body off.

OVERALL PERSONALITY:

Having Aleximthymia brings complications to pointing out Elphaba's personality as it is a personality disorder in which there are difficulties identifying feelings, describing feelings and a number of other things that do effect what ones personality may be. These problems make it very difficult for her to relate to another human, which is why Elphaba is often seen as mean, harsh or sarcastic. She has a short fuse because she doesn't understand other people's emotions and often thinks of them as anger. She, also, avoids all contact that could bring someone closer emotionally to another. Her disability makes her more logical and realistic then she might have been in her upbringing if she didn't have this disorder. Elphie is also known to have spouts of Dysphoria in addition with her Aleximthymia. Commonly, she is enraged rather than having crying fits, like some sufferers do. She does not mind that her disorder has made her this way, in fact it doesn't effect her daily life other than her inability to decipher her own emotions and other peoples.

GOALS:

Elphaba hopes to one day be a play-write and has since she knew how to read. As she grew up around theater and musical theater it would not be a difficult task for her, but she wants to make it on her own and not because of her surnames. She also hopes that she will be at the top of her class at Hogwarts but fears it won't happen because from what she read of the school she will be enrolled in, Prefecture is a popularity contest and she has never been too popular.


IF SOMEONE TAKES A SPILL, IT'S ME AND NOT YOU​

MOTHER:
Wynter Gervais; thirty-two; muggle; play-write.

Wynter grew up in a house of hippies and because of this she was one herself. She did not bother to get an education past high school, banking that her talent for writing would do more then any schooling could and this proved true as her first play was on stage when she was the young age of twenty.​

FATHER (1):
Sebastian Temple; thirty-four; muggle; broadway star.

Sebastian is a flamboyant man, who on a night of drunken experimentation slept with Elphaba's mother. While this may seem normal, it isn't for him because he is gay and has been with his life partner since before Elphaba was conceived.​

FATHER (2):
Nathaniel Daryn; thirty; muggle; broadway star.

Nathaniel is more of a conservative man then his partner but he loves him none-the-less. The two seem to be nothing less then perfect for one another. They met when they were auditioning for the same lead-role. Nathaniel and Sebastian both didn't get the part and their spitefulness brought them together.​

Tell me more about Elphaba's relationship with her parents -- all three of them.

What does she think about being named after a character in a musical, and even more so, the one who becomes the Wicked Witch of the West? Does she enjoy Wicked at all or is that merely her parents? What would be her favorite musical production if Wicked is not her favorite?

How was her condition discovered?

Elphaba and her parents have strong ties but she does not feel love for them, she simply cannot. Her mother is the one she sees the least out of all three but they do have an understanding of one another more than her fathers do. Nathaniel and Elphaba are the second closest, though. Their way of thinking is the most similar and he supports her goals in life and the way she wants to achieve them instead of Sebastian and how he wishes to help her through it all.

Funny enough, Elphaba has never actually seen Wicked. She has read the sequel and knows the basic plot but she doesn't have any ties to the musical other then her name.

Her condition was discovered by her therapist, which Sebastian made her go to because he thought that she hated them when they all knew that they did nothing wrong. Elphaba's psychologist suggested she go for the test at a specialist and she was found to have this personality disorder.
