History

Edmund Kreuz was born on the 16th of March, 1988. He lived with Alban and Roswitha Kreuz, mother and father, and enjoyed a pretty stable childhood. However, just six months prior his seventeenth birthday, Edmund fell in love. The girl, Hanne, was the daughter of a muggle businessman. Hanne, being a muggle-born, knew about the wizarding world, but her father did not. A week before his seventeenth birthday, Edmund introduced himself to Hanne's father, asking for her hand in marriage. Unfortunately, her father did not think Edmund was good enough for his daughter, and made it clear that Edmund was not allowed in Hanne's life. Edmund, a determined young lad, continued meeting with Hanne, saying that he would get her father's approval for their marriage, even if it killed him. Edmund continued to try and speak with Hanne's father, but he refused to let him in. Two months after the failed attempt at having Hanne's father agree to Edmund and Hanne's marriage, Edmund knocked at the door for the final time, tired of the relationship going nowhere, and being told to leave the family alone. Hanne's mother answered the door and, at first, she would not let Edmund in, apologising but explaining that she was under strict instructions. Edmund then consoled her for having such a beastly husband and told her that she was a wonderful person who deserved diamonds and fur coats, rather than the rubber gloves that she currently donned. Flattered, Hanne's mother allowed Edmund in, but explained that Hanne was out at a party. Edmund, deciding that he hated Hanne's father enough, and that Hanne and he were as good as over, made a move on the mother. When Hanne's father returned home from work, he was angered to find Edmund, smirking, in bed with his wife, watching his television. Edmund had left the family alone, after that, but this set the mold for his relationships only lasting two months, at most.

Edmund began studying wizarding law on his twenty-first birthday; his career in music, being a slow start, Edmund had decided that he ought to pay his way and he intended to become a lawyer as that was something which interested him. However, he soon completed the course, and went on to further study the law, receiving top marks. He applied for a job as a judge, and was pleased when he was given it. Ever since, Edmund has been working in this career, alongside his musical one.

For a couple of years in the 2020's, Edmund worked at Hogwarts New Zealand, teaching the subject of Care of Magical Creatures to third and fourth years. He eventually decided to leave the job to pursue other such life ambitions, and returned, for some time, to his career as a judge, setting aside his musical one for a while.

Edmund resides, mostly, in Germany, but has an apartment in Australia and flat in London. He often holidays in Norway.

History:
Edmund became a singer on his eighteenth birthday at a bar he was in: The bartender had been promising a band to play, but the singer had been taken ill. Desperate to keep business in the wizarding bar, he took up Edmund's offer to sing, as he was the most sober of the volunteers. As it turned out, Edmund was good at singing and he gave a performance to remember. One of the men watching, Christopher Brown, an English wizard who had always wanted a job in the music industry, with some experience as a manager, offered to take on Edmund as a new client. A contract was signed, several hours later, and soon, the musical career of Edmund Kreuz, began.
