early start

Jasmine had woken up early, and couldn't been able to get back to sleep. Seeing that it was a pretty nice day. She got ready, picked up her soccer ball and headed to the lawn. The lawn was totally empty, the lush green grass twinkling with the dew from the night. The sun was just starting to rise. It was pretty nice.

Dropping her soccer ball to her side, Jaz decided to warm up a little, she did three laps around the field. When she had done that she did some warm up streches. Finally it was time to play.

hmmmm what shall I start off with? she asked herself. An idea arrived, she started to juggle the ball on her knees then once she had done twenty in a row, moved it to juggling with her feet.

 

[Kyle Sparrow]

Kyle had pretty much kept to himself for the entire semester, he hadn't spoken with Kaleb at all except for the odd greeting in class but that was how Kyle was to everyone. He hadn't realised he would be quite so shy towards people here, it wasn't him at all but the fact was that the majority of students here were girls. Sure his brother would have liked the odds but Kyle was not like that. He had always found the company of girls a little strange and overbearing.
For the first time in ages he decided to leave the dorm early and simply head out. He had no idea where he was going but knew he would suffocate if he were to do anymore studying.

As he made his way down towards the lawn he saw something that made him genuinely smile for the first time in ages. Someone with a soccer ball. Of course the someone also happened to be a girl but he didn't care too much about that right now. He had to admit she had some skills. Walking towards her he called out.
"Hey over here, come on pass".

Jas heard a voice asking her to pass glancing up she spotted a boy about her age. She wondered what the time was. Then smiling, glad to have company she passed the ball swifty over.
