🌹 Rose Giving Dusty Pink

A pink rose for @Audrey Beauchamp

The only thing he knew about the next name on his list was that it was one of people running this whole rose giving event. Which felt a little silly to have to find her to deliver a rose when she was in charge of setting all this up. But, he was going to do his job, arriving in the great hall and scanning the Ravenclaw table. "Audrey Beauchamp! I have a rose with your name on it."

Audrey knew it was a bit silly to organise deliveries to herself. But by the same token, organising the event didn't mean she shouldn't get to participate in the joy of receiving roses. She'd even managed to avoid reading the notes, though the temptation had been very strong. She knew she was getting a couple of roses, and what colours they were, but not what they said so there was at least some element of surprise. To her delight, as well, the young boy delivering one of the roses to her had chosen to deliver it to the Great Hall when enough people were there to see it. Even better if it was the pink one, she figured. She raised her hand to wave him over, sitting up a little straighter as she did. "Over heeeere! Excellent."

Thankfully, he wasn't left running around forever trying to find the right person. Instead, he found the older Ravenclaw prefect quite easily as she waved him over. "Delivery for you!" He announced once he was closer, picking up one of the few remaining roses left in his delivery basket. A nice pink one, the grin on his face as he handed it over. "I hope it says something nice." Unfortunately, he hadn't gotten to delivery any red roses, but pink ones were also interesting.
