Dungeons? How quaint. Anna wasn't surprised that the castle had dungeons - although she didn't expect that she'd be living in them. Of course, the Slytherin common room and her own dorm were quite nice and comfortable, but dungeons were where they locked up the bad guys, and it was no wonder they thought Slytherins were all mass murderers and evil dictators waiting to happen if they were relegated to the dungeons.
At least it was more homely than home had ever been. And her big brother was in Slytherin, too, so at least she had the one family member who really cared about her and looked out for her around. He was in a higher year and would be off doing his own thing, but at least she wasn't alone.
Anna didn't really know how to cope with being alone in a new place. When she got scared, she got angry, and it turned people away from her. She remembered her last day at primary school again, shuddering at the thought of her classmates faces. Shaking her head, Anna wandered the twisting corridors of the dungeons, not entirely sure what she was looking for and not in any rush to find it.
