Guitar in tow and a spring to her step Lola Mason headed across the school grounds to small area near the lake that contained a memorial rose bush to a student who had passed long before Lola had been a student here. She often came here when she needed to think, though she wasn't really sure why. Lola had gotten a letter from Daniel earlier that morning and her heart felt wonderful. The Ravenclaw had grown quite fond of him and if she dared say it...she could easily fall head over heels for him if she let herself.
Lola took a seat on the ground and propped herself up on her guitar as she strummed and hummed for a few minutes. Nothing came to her right away so she started playing something that she'd been working on for the last week or two. She couldn't help, but smile as she sang. Truth be told she couldn't help, but smile all the time as of late. She was the happiest she'd ever been though she'd be happier had Daniel's transfer been approved, but she'd get to see him next Brightstone weekend and for now that was enough for her.
