Drip drops in the stillness

Briar was glad that he understood. she thought that maybe one day she would trust him enough to tell him about her childhood. the truth not a twisted version of the truth that was only a little more than a lie. "yeh, Nature is pretty smart if you know where to look" she sad smiling.
she heard the boy try and muffle a yawn but not very successfully. "yep, all of those late nights seem to be catching up on you. you had better get ahead on sleep before the break. the twins sound like they need all of your energy." she said. as he got up and made his way back to the castle. "have a good holiday and see you next semester" she said watching him make his way back. she sat on the floor for a few minutes watching the lake before getting up and following him back into the castle.
