Zazuka was out on her second day of her Brightstone weekend. She would have to be going soon because she had to get ready for the ball but for now she was free to wonder. Her blue dress fell down to just above her knees making the the flashes of skin look more like the fault of the clothes somehow. Zazuka could have been back at Beauxbatons getting a head start on getting ready but somehow she got the feeling that Brightstone was where she needed to be. It was better than needing to be in Bleak Street she supposed. Much better than needing to be where she would be treated as a footnote.

As rays of sunshine beamed down and Galileo he shielded his eyes with his hand as though he'd been in darkness for some time and had not yet adjusted to the brightness. He reached into his pocket to pull out some sunglasses but soon realized he had forgot to bring them with him. With a disappointed look on his face, he shrugged and continued to stroll along and let his mind wander. It had been some time since Galileo had been outside and Brightstone seemed to be calling his name today.

Suddenly, a hue of blue caught his eye and he turned to see who it was. The familiar face brought a smile to his. Galileo was dressed in rags compared to her. A few small holes had found their way onto his favorite shirt, which he was wearing, and his jeans were no better. Although he was quite aware of this he wasn't bothered by it. He walked over and gently bumped into her. "Hey there." he chuckled.

Zazuka had turned before had gotten to her so she watched Galileo bump into her. "Hey there back stranger." She said as she gave Galileo a friendly hug. To those that watched it would seem like complete coincidence that they had met here but Zazuka knew better there was no such thing as coincidence there was only fate. She looked at his clothes then down at herself. When she had concerned herself with things like this she didn't know. It wasn't a sort of vanity in herself though she did pride herself in having clothes that no one else had. It was more of how she felt conferable in. Zazuka liked to glow in every aspect she found.

With a large smile Zazuka returned to Galileo's face. "I feel a little overdressed now." She said giggling as she placed a hand on her cheek. "How have you been?" She asked. She had noticed that Galileo looked a bit pail as if he wasn't getting out much. It would surprising. There where a quite a few Ravenclaw that keep to the tower studying. She became one of them once Exam week came around. She assumed that was it.

Galileo felt warm as he hugged Zazuka. It had become apparent to him that this was the first time he'd come into physical contact with anyone in quite some time. It was obvious that she noticed the clothes he was wearing and couldn't help but become slightly embarrassed. He was always taught to look his best at all times but it managed to slip his mind today and he was paying for it. "I think I'm under dressed," he replied. "You look wonderful!" he added with a smile as he took in her outfit from a better angle this time.

"I've been alright," he continued. "I feel like I've been asleep for the last couple of months and have finally woken up." It was something that was confusing, even to himself. "What about you? How have you been?" he asked, interested in what was going on with her.

Zazuka gave a sparkling smile at Galileo's comment. "Thank you for that." She said honestly. She felt better knowing that she had made a positive impression. Then again it was hard to find a frown around her. She did her best to keep them from happening. "I'm over at Beauxbatons representing Hogwarts at the Triwizard Tournament. Mike is Champion but I've been told that I still hold an important role." She said ever so modestly. Zazuka never thought that she was all that important even though she did hold a gift.

She looked him over with a tilted head. "Are you sure? Have you been getting enough sun?" She asked then knew that he hadn't by his response. "That yesterday I relinquished my hold over my boyfriend. Too much has happened and I don't think that I can hold his attention anymore." She said with a soft sigh. Zazuka didn't seem sad even though she had essentially broken up with Brian. Brian just didn't know this fact yet. She was sure that he could feel it though even though he wasn't a Seer.

"That's great!" said Galileo hiding his confusion very well. The details of the Triwizard Tournament had eluded him since it had begun and why Zazuka was involved was beyond him. Nevertheless, he could tell it was a big deal to his friend and decided it was best not to question it. "So the tournament is happening at Beauxbatons?" he asked curiously. "Sometimes, I miss going to school there." he added as a fleeting thought. It was hard preventing himself from actually thinking about how different his life would be if he'd stayed at Beauxbatons. However, he was fairly successful at keeping his attention on the girl in front of him.

As they continued to talk, Galileo was slightly surprised at Zazuka's tone when informing him that she'd broken up with her boyfriend. "I'm sorry to hear that." he said with a small frown of his face. "Break-ups are never fun for both sides. May I ask why you decided to end it?" he asked cautiously, hoping not to cross any lines.

Zazuka giggled into her hand as she looked at Galileo. “You really have been away in your mind for a while haven’t you?” She said her eyes sparkling. Again she didn’t blame him for not being out and about. “Yes this time the Triwizard is being held at Beauxbatons. It was just luck that I was old enough to apply to be part of it. When I got the news I was so happy because I would be seeing France again but at the same time I knew I would miss my friends.” She said again with a sigh. She did miss her friends dearly but she didn’t know if she wanted to be at Hogwarts just yet. It didn’t feel like the right time. “I would guess you would. Were you popular at Beauxbatons?” She asked. She wanted to know what a student who had been there most all the time was like. Most of the friends that she had made had transferred in and where not having that good a time.

Galileo asked about the brake up and Zazuka twirled one of the few loose curls that framed her face. “I was tired of being an afterthought.” She said after a moment of thinking. “It was always like that. Whenever he was faced with another girl it was first how much he liked her then he started to think about me. It wasn’t fair. So I relinquished him until either he could focus on me and only me or so he could find his own path without me.” She said then blushed a little bit. Zazuka was afraid that she sounded a bit bratty there. “Is that too much of a demand?” She asked while looking down shyly.

Galileo scratched the back of his head affirming Zazuka's guess about him being away from his mind. He smiled as she continued to talk about the Triwizard tournament. He thought about his old school for a second before she asked him if he was popular there. "Of course everyone knew me! I was the coolest person there!" he answered trying to keep a straight face. He didn't keep the charade up for very long. "I'm only joking." he admitted with a small laugh. "I usually kept to myself. Sometimes, things are just easier that way. I will say that I did have more friends there than I do here." he added. It was strange, even to him, that he'd been at this school for a while now and he still hadn't made any real friends. It did not bother him much. Galileo had always managed to do just fine on his own.

The Ravenclaw boy listened as Zazuka explained to him why she broke up with her boyfriend. He was often complimented on his ability to listen to peoples problems which he never did understand. It wasn't very hard and, as far as he was concerned, anyone could do it. He chuckled to himself before hearing Zazuka's question. "Not at all." he answered. "I think it's safe to say that that is what everyone wants out of a relationship. Not to mention, if you're not happy in the relationship, then why be in it?" he said trying to assure her that what she had done was the right thing.

Zazuka smiled and laughed. "That was actually a good joke." She said with her hand over her mouth. It was nice to talk to someone that was unrelated to everything. Talking to Galileo like this was like taking on of her trips into her mind where she could wonder among the clouds until the time came for her to come back into herself. Maybe with Galileo she could wonder and not have to come back. "There are times when things are better when enjoyed on your own. Like a good book but then there are times when reading is good enjoyed with another person." She said her voice going extra dreamy as if her mind was getting away with her voice. Zazuka came back into herself quickly. She knew that the last thing someone watnted to do was take a trip into her mind.

Zazuka listened as Galileo talked as well and sighed. "I know your right." She said again tailing off slightly. A thought came to her suddenly as they normally do before they float off again but this time she voiced it. "Your name came to me yesterday as I was talking with my friend Andy, do you know what that could mean?" She asked as she looked up at the sky. It was the purest blue as if summer had really set in. The color of her dress was the exact same shade. She wondered if she made clothes to match the season for a moment before letting the thought go again.

Galileo found himself very amused during the conversation with Zazuka. He realized how lucky he was to have run into her today which was something that usually happened when he least expected it. In fact, she was the person he'd talked to the most since he'd transferred, something that made him quite happy at that moment. As she continued to speak, he tried to pinpoint what it was he found so amusing about their conversation, coming to the conclusion that it had something to do with her voice. He still was unsure as to what it was but all he knew was that he liked it.

"My name came to you yesterday? That's interesting." he said trying to figure out what it was that caused her to think of him. "Perhaps it has something to do with what you and your friend were talking about. What were you two talking about?" he asked still wondering. "I thought of you as well but for only a brief moment. Do you think that could be it?" he inquired. She had come up in his thoughts several times before but usually a couple of days after they'd already spoken to one another. This was the first time he'd thought of her without some sort of interaction beforehand. Galileo found himself puzzled.

Zazuka could practically see the wheels in Galileo’s head turning as she talked. She wanted to giggle as she wondered what on earth he could be thinking about but knew that it would have made her seem like an air-head. All she knew was that it was that it had a pleasant feel to it. She had always enjoyed her time in the presence of Galileo even though the times they had spoken had been brief and far in-between. Had it not been Galileo that found her dancing in the rain once? Then again there where a fair few that had found her doing so though none that where pronounced in her mind. Except for Andy who never joined but often liked to watch the oddness. She wondered now what Galileo really thought of her. Was she the weird girl that danced in the rain, for the rain?

Finally she came to the conclusion that if Galileo had thought weird in a negative way then he would not be talking to her right now and that she would have probably picked it up if he didn’t want to be here. With that came the hope that he wanted to stay with her a bit longer because she felt like there was no were else she would rather be. “Of nothing important. Though I must admit we were having our jollies with the waiter that served us. He seemed nice but dreadfully simple. All it took was a smile for him to fall to his knees.” She said and offered him the same glowing smile hoping that Galileo wouldn’t think less of her because of it. She wasn’t calling Galileo simple at all.

“Perhaps it was my third eye telling me that I would meet someone interesting today.” She said in musing. She listened to him and sort of blushed. He had thought of her during his withdrawal from the world. “Well do you have a third eye as well because that could be it.” She said as she pointed to her own forehead. She sort of hoped it was something else though because when she had thought of him she had felt sort of warm for a moment. There where the laws of humanity governing what she was thinking about. Wasn’t customary to wait a little before something like this happened? Questions raced through her head so fast now that it difficult for her to pin one down and voice it.

Galileo could only chuckle at the idea of the two girls having their way with the waiter. He immediately thought of how lucky he was to have grown up with an older sister. He'd grown quite familiar with the tricks girls played on boys and would not fall for them as easily as their waiter had. Besides, he had some of his own tricks up his sleeve and it would take quite a girl to get him to reveal them. Despite this, when it came to girls Galileo was hardly one for games. Knowing he could handle himself in any "girl situation" was enough for him and he quickly put these thoughts behind him.

"Me? Have a third eye?" he asked looking up at his forehead and rubbing it as if he was expecting to feel an actual eye. "I'm not sure if I do. How would I be able to tell?" he joked. He was positive he did not possess a third eye and even if he did, this would be the first time he'd ever been aware of it. He chuckled a bit at his own joke as a way of letting Zazuka know he'd not been completely serious. Bringing his eyes back down to hers, he could see a bit of confusion in her face. "You alright there?" he asked, wondering what she was thinking about.

Zazuka again did not think of Galileo as simple. He was in Raveclaw after all and she was sure that he had some cleverness to him when it came to sweet smiles and eyelash batting. The fact that she had gotten to someone so easily surprised her because Zazuka, though she knew she was attractive enough, did not think herself a great beauty most of the time. It was probably thoughts like that which had made her a footnote in the mind of the boy that had meant to be hers. Zazuka had long set thoughts like those behind her. It was as if she could tell where fate was going to take her anyway.

An example of that was right in front of her. Had she tried to read the signs she would have known that she would meet up with Galileo sooner but she ignored the feeling and found today. A pleasant surprise but one that had her wondering just was the fates where planning. She laughed into her fingertips. “You can tell if you have a third eye if that part of your head hurts more often then the rest of your head.” She said teasingly right back. She looked right back into Galileo’s eyes, thinking that she had figured out what had happened, and her knees weakened. There was a wall behind her so she able to place her hand on it for stability but she had dropped far enough that the damage was done. “I’m just fine.” She said playing it off while dropping her gaze.

Galileo laughed at Zazuka's joke. He was glad his hints did not go unnoticed, which might have been slightly embarrassing. All of his laughter had reminded him of how glad he was to have decided to go for a walk today. An interaction like this was something that he had needed for quite some time. It occurred to him for a moment that maybe he shouldn't shut out the world like he had before. For all he knew, he'd missed out on plenty of moments such as this one.

Galileo's laughter ceased when Zazuka stumbled a bit. "Whoa there! Are you sure you're okay?" he asked offering his hand to her in order to help her regain her balance. He was not sure whether what had happened just then was something that should be ignored. It would be a lie if he said he didn't feel something at that same moment, but did she simply lose her balance or was it something more than that? As he tried to make sense of it he waited for her to reply, hoping that her answer would make it easier to understand.

Zazuka was happy that she could make Galileo laugh. She had never thought of herself as funny at all. She was glad that she had decided to stay in Brightstone just one more day because she would have missed a pleasent afternoon with her friend. When he offered it Zazuka took Galileo’s hand, a bright blush on her cheeks, then looked up again. It would be very Ravenclaw of her if she didn’t test theory before she made up her mind. She had'n been weak-kneed for a boy in a long time but there was something in Galileo’s eyes that had captivated her. Like a painting that has touched her deeply. Zazuka looked into Galileo’s eyes again and this time it made her breath catch for a moment. “I don’t know if I’m alright or not. Is it normal to move on this fast?” She asked as she kept her eyes on his.

She didn’t know why this was happening or why it was happening now of all times. All she knew was that she didn’t want to let go of Galileo’s hand. She was really happy now that she had stayed in Brightstone another day because if she hadn’t, if she had ignored her third eye she would never have known that fate intended her heart to towards Galileo. She just hoped that this time she would not be made a footnote.

As Galileo felt Zazuka grasp his hand, he smiled again to hide his confusion. As he slightly tightened his grip to make sure she would not stumble again, he waited for her to reply to his question. "Why had she lost her balance?" he thought to himself. It was something he'd only seen in movies and was sure had never happened in real life. His thoughts were interrupted when her eyes caught his. The answer to his question had come suddenly and was followed by a question of her own. "I'm not sure." he answered softly, as though the words just came to him, while keeping his eyes fixated on hers.

He continued to look into her eyes, not sure what he should do next. His mind began to race wondering if he should do what he thinks he should do or not and what it would mean if he did. He thought way too much under pressure. Bringing himself back to reality, he looked into her eyes one last time. "I think I'd better go now." he said. "I have some things I need to take care of but we'll talk again soon. I promise." he added. He leaned in to kiss her on the cheek and let go of her hand. It took all his strength to leave but even though he was filled with disappointment in himself, he felt that somehow it was the right thing to do.

Zazuka wondered if he was holding her so she wouldn't fall or if he was holding her because of something else. It had to be something else really. She could see the wheels in his mind turning without meaning too. She knew that something was here in the summer air of Brightstone and Zazuka was willing to bet anything that it was what she thought it was. "Should we find out?" She asked but knew that the answer would never come.

Her eyes where nearly silver now as she obsorbed every bit of what she saw within Galieo. Again she could see his mind working as was her's. Zazuka had relinquished Brian after Seeing what he had been doing while she was away but she still felt like it was slightly too soon. "Next Brightstone weekend then." She said a bit too dreamyly. She kissed his cheek and let him go. It as as hard for her to see Galileo go as it was for maybe for him to walk away. Zazuka started on her way back to the fireplace that she was going to take back to Beauxbatons all the while humming to herself.

Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "I love you"
Birds singing in the sycamore tree.
Dream a little dream of me.
