Temmmmmp. Temper, T-Dot, T-Shizzle-Ma-Nizzle.. whatever you go by these days, how are you? Sorry for the delay in writing, things have been hectic. Hectic, but good. Just busy with school, though, not like I've finally gotten a life, or anything.

So how're things at Salem? I take it you still see my mom every day? How is she? I haven't written to her recently, either. Hogwarts is pretty boring, when I'm not busy doing homework and stuff. As usual, my friends are few and far between, and when they are present, they are incredibly uninteresting. Well, I do have one friend that I don't just sit with at lunch, but I haven't seen much of her recently. Sometimes I think the only true friends I have are back home, in Boston.

Anyway, let me know how you are. I hope it's all good, but if it's not.. Well, you've always figured things out by yourself.

Live long and prosper,
Spock.

Maxwell, you live! For a while there I thought you'd been attacked and kidnapped by a centaur, living as a hostage deep in the forest, living only off the berries that the centaur gave you sparingly in mercy.

.. But you know, I have an imagination sometimes. And you went a while without writing.

Anyway, your mom's awesome as always. I got an O on my Potions exam, and no, not just because I'm friends with her son. She's a super cool teacher, shame Salem's an all-girls school and you don't get to be taught by her too. Then again, being her kid, you might get embarassed by her and stuff. And of course your true friends are in Boston. I'm here, duh.

My life? Well, pretty average. I have a boyfriend now, you know? Well, not really, but.. Okay, so he's kind of an older man. Not Merlin old, just.. old enough to be my Transfiguration teacher and stuff. Before you say anything, he's cute, so don't start with the lectures. Anyway, he likes me back, I just know it!

It's good to hear that everything's fine in NZ, even if somewhat hectic (and no, I didn't for a second think that you'd finally gotten a life - refer back to the centaur theory). I hear it's beautiful there, you totally have to take more photos and send them to me. I'll start a scrapbook or something, and put photos and s**t in it. If I can be bothered, or if I have the patience. Knowing me, I probably won't. But f**k, it's the thought that counts, so just send the damn photos.

So where were you last holidays? It's been ages since you've been home. I know that Adam misses you a lot. Do you write to him? He says that you don't. *glareface* Write to your brother, Max. Wow, I sounded like a f**king adult just then. Mindblown. Yeah, let's just say that you owe your brother a letter and leave it at that. I do not make a good parent.

Awesome to hear from you.. AT LAST,
T.

Wow, I'm glad that you have so much faith in me! No, I wasn't kidnapped by centaurs, but nice story. Anyway, good to hear that mom's okay. And you're right, I would be embarassed if she was my teacher. Don't you see what she acts like with Adam and I? Always hugging us and patting down our hair, it would be humiliating.

What? An older man? God, Temp, you always go for the guys that are off-limits! What about Mike? He's liked you for years, and I approve of him. You could get into a lot of trouble if you say anything, so just.. promise me that you won't do anything, Temp! Older dudes = trouble. And you know that my mom watches out for you, don't ruin that. Sorry, you said no lectures, but I couldn't just ignore that! Subject change, wahzam.

So you're starting a scrapbook? Yeah, I agree, you won't have the patience. I bet you right now, that you will get angry at the glue not cooperating, and just set the book on fire. 50 galleons? You've never been an arty person. Anyway, I'll enclose some moving photographs with my next letter, I don't have the time to take any today.

Wasn't I home last holidays? Oh right, I was at school. Yeah, I know, I should have been out of those doors as soon as the holidays began, but I just wanted to get settled in better and stuff. I know, I know, I really need to write to Adam, but you know how clingy he can be. Sometimes it's best to just separate yourself from him, you know? Anyway, I'll be home these coming holidays, so I'll see him, and you, then. And actually, I think that you'd make a pretty good parent. Your kids would be incredibly badly-behaved and curse like nothing else, but they'd be cool. They'd certainly be cool.

Stay away from that older guy!
Max.
