Harri skipped happily out into the gardens. Happiness was still beaming off her, she was so pleased that Andy had really liked her gift. She grinned as she sat down wondering what to draw first. She let her mind wander freely, not attempting to restrict her thoughts. She pondered for a while sitting motionless on the floor, her mind racing over everything that had happened, when her thoughts turned to christmas she scowled and began to draw. The wolf. She began thinking of wolves. Their stance, posture, attitude, anything that would be neccessary for her picture. She began sketching eagerly, the wolf was strong and muscular, it's stance seemed ready to attack, huge paws and tail. The outline looked scary, the kind of creature you could be terrified. But as she moved to the face she sketched the eyes, suprising herself by drawing them wide. Almost as if the creature was scared. Trapped in a form it would rather not be in. She looked down slightly surprised. This wolf was meant to be ferocious but now it looked... well far from it. It's eyes were deep and meaningful and it's mouth was tight shut, the jaw small and almost fragile looking.
She sighed thinking this was more a reflection of how she had been feeling lately. Trapped in a hard outer shell. She shook of the feeling snapping her sketch pad closed, placing it roughly beside her and leaning back and enjoying the sun. Her mind quickly forgetting all about the picture she ahd drawn.
