Veronica had worked all of last night and early that morning on her costume. She and Venn had known what they were going to be from day one. Unfortunately, whereas Venn had actually worked on his costume, Veronica had left hers a little late. Still, she had managed to get there in the end and she was now very proud of it. She'd had to traipse down to the bathrooms to get Venn to help her with her makeup and because he was wearing his princess outfit, no one really questioned why he was in the bathroom. Veronica quite liked having both a sister and a brother in one package. Well, it wasn't really true, but Venn, on occasion, did dress in her clothing, mostly for entertainments sake, or because they were playing dress up. As a metamorphmagus, he could be anything and that tended to excite her. She was forever giving him challenges.

Walking into the Great Hall, Veronica looked around and smiled at all the festivities. She loved a good party after all and Halloween at her house was always a lot of fun. With Kelsey and Kieran off doing god knows what, she and Venn tended to have the whole house to themselves and they often went into Kelsey's room and played with her makeup. She was never home these days, she was sure no one would notice. Well, she certainly hoped not. Deciding that she needed to find her brother in the crowd and hoping that it would not be that hard, Veronica walked into the room and started looking around. He was so much prettier than her when he was dressed up, she was sure she would lose him or something.

Venn Asiah Boneheart rubbed the last remainders of his sister's make up from his hands using a tissue, and fixed his hair, making sure that the white rose within it was sitting properly. He was slightly disappointed in his sister that she had left her costume so late, thus having him need to help her with it last minute - but he was happy at the results. She looked great, in his eyes, but his sister always looked great. She was, after all, his sister, so there was no possible way he would ever consider her to be ugly. She was, after all, a gothic bride and that meant that she had to look beautiful - she was dressed for a wedding! He still felt that he had some black on his finger nails, but there was little he could do about it.

Venn entered the Great Hall, immediately looking for Prudence and his sister. He had planned to find Prudence before entering, but he had actually forgotten to tell her that he wanted to meet her, so he hoped that she would just show up and everything would be okay. He grinned wildly, however, when he eventually saw his sister, and poked her back. "Hey!" he greeted, waiting for her to turn around. "Have you seen Prince Prudence?" he asked, before twirling around. "Princess Venn needs to speak with him."

Prudence adjusted the top of her Prince costume with an uncomfortable grimace. She was not sure why she was so uncomfortable, perhaps it was due to her age. As she grew older she couldn't wear the same style of clothing she was used to wearing. the top was loose a bit in the shoulders, but tight in the chest. The pants fit well though, as they were just plain black spandex. Her boots jingled slightly as she walked, having some gold decoration on the side. However, Prue's biggest compaint had to be the wig, where all her hair was tucked underneath. It itched slightly, however it completed the costume. The brunette now approached the feast, and from where she was she could see Venn - her Princess - standing with his sister.

She let a grin take over her otherwise straight face as she approached. "Alas my fair princess, I will save you from this..." She paused for a second and looked over Veronica's costume. "Bride of Frankenstein!" She then waved her foam sword at them, smiling widely. She laughed a bit at their faces, knowing she would cause smiles with her joke. She put the foam sword on her hip and addressed them both. "Are you guys enjoying your Halloween?" She enquired. She knew she was so far, and was looking forward to the food.

Veronica turned around when she felt someone poke her in the back. At first she was going to be annoyed, but as soon as she turned around, she grinned and threw hew arms around her twin, taking care to ensure that she didn't rumple his dress. He looked very pretty, as she had known he would. She smiled at him and pointed behind him as he asked about his friend Prue. Veronica liked Prue very much, she was a good friend to Venn when he'd been upset at her departure, but it was all okay now, so it got better. She laughed happily when Prudence called her the bride of frankenstein. "I'm not the bride of Frankenstein!" She didn't really know what she was, but bride of frankenstein was not it. She looked at Prue and nodded. "Yeah! We love Halloween, don't we Venn?" She walked over to the table of food and picked up some jelly beans. "Jelly Beans? You look great by the way, both of you, I hope you guys win!"

Venn grinned and threw his arms around his sister in a tight hug. Being in a different house and year to his twin was not something he had ever expected, but it had happened because of technicalities that he felt did not matter. Apparently they did. However, it did mean that he met his good friend Pruedence, so perhaps it was worth it. He chuckled quietly as Pruedence jumped to conclusions about Veronica's costume. He had no idea what it was either - but it was something and that was good enough for him!

He nodded as his twin answered Prue. They loved Halloween because of the dressing up and the lollies and the adventure and the scary stuff. It was all great. Sometimes they would just sit in their parents' room and make faces. Naturally, Ven always win, but he also admitted that he cheated. He followed his sister, and devoured some of the food on offer. "Do you like Halloween, Prue?" he asked.
