Her last members of entourage were none other the the current Headgirl, Ai Edogawa and one of the Quidditch Captains, Taylor Blare. Both had huge responsibilities and so Abby was rather annoyed that either of them were on detention, surely they would have had more sense, seeing as they were chosen to represent themselves and their houses. They were both questionable however and she was more the annoyed at the fact that they had helped to cover for the boys. She was pretty sure they weren't to blame here, but she had no idea who was to blame and seeing as they were all so damn tight lipped, it had to be like this, Abby was starting to think she was working in a prison with this whole no telling policy they seemed to be keeping. It was a stupid rule and Abby wished they would just dob, so much easier on everyone really and then the right person would be punished and the innocents could be released. Merlin, she really was starting to sound like she worked in a prison. Shaking her head as she reached the fourth floor, Abby made her way into the library, nodding at Stefan as she did so.

She had already asked Stefan if it would be okay to let this pair stay in the library and clean or dust or whatever and he had agreed so it was all ready. She took them to the back of the library, away from others and stood in front of them. Abby was five foot ten at full height and whilst that was rather tall for a woman, she was not taller then most of the men in this school, she was, however, taller then these particular students. "For your roles in what happened last year, you will be dusting and cleaning this library, don't forget to reorder the books if its needed. Mr Archer will be keeping an eye on you whilst I am gone, I'll be back in an hour." She turned to leave and then clicked her fingers as she forgot something. She faced them again and held out her hands. "Give me your hands please." They did so and she placed them together before tapping her wand on their hands. "That will stay like that until i release it. Do try not to fall over or break anything." With that said, Abby took her leave of the library.

Ai couldn't believe that she still wasn't done with her detentions with Professor Hayes. Seriously, this professor was always the one who would catch her in the middle of trouble. She had been caught throwing pies in the kitchen when she was in her first year, and now she was caught in trouble with a lot of people. She wasn't even doing anything close to bad ad the time! In fact, she was trying to help Arianna whom had fainted at the time, but Liam was just too much of a jerk and had too much of a pride to let her help his fiancee, who is apparently his cousin? Ai never understood their relationship but she guessed that it would be rude to continue prying upon their business especially since Liam and Arianna were so adamant in not speaking about it, especially after the Rumor Has It magazine. Now, the most confusing thing was why was she still doing detention when it had happened in their sixth year? And also, why was she doing detentions with Taylor again? Somehow, it had been quite a routine that in whatever task, Taylor was always there. It was a never ending circle and Ai couldn't even begin to fathom if it was fate playing tricks on her or fate trying to bring them together. But for now, she didn't even bother comprehending such a thing. Perhaps it was a new thing, but Ai Edogawa is not biting Taylor Blare's head off.

Ai just followed the professor quietly really while she kept her head down and her hands right beside her. After what had happened in the Prefect Meeting, unpleasant thoughts had been plaguing the Head Girl's mind. She haven't spoken to anyone about these thoughts of hers really, in fact, she wasn't even sure if she had anyone to talk to about them. After all, she already knew what most people thought of her. A stupid girl who had just gotten lucky to receive the badge of Head Girl. Probably even by mistake. And so, she couldn't really bring herself to anything being asked of her to be done while in detention and she had not even uttered a single word. An occasional nod or shake of the head was all she gave as answers, other than that, you would even barely notice she was in the crowd until only she and Taylor were left to deal with and they were stationed to the library. Under normal circumstances, Ai would have had complained the moment her and the Gryffindor's hands were stuck together, but this time, she was just about as silent as a cloud. Even when the professor left. And not because they were in the library but it was because the Hufflepuff had not spoken for days. Ever since the disaster of a meeting, she had been too ashamed of what had occured to the point that it had been stuck on her head that she should have never received the Head Girl position. She was much better at being like this. The girl in detention. And so, wordlessly, she faced the bookshelves, and with one hand, begun to rearrange the books properly, not even paying any attention to her Gryffindor companion.

Taylor would have never thought that being an acquaintance of Ai Edogawa and Liam Nightray would get her into so much strife. All she had done was try to help that new girl, Arianna Nightray. Yet she had received a detention for it and a stern talking too from Professor Kingsley. Taylor, all of the lions really, hated upsetting her, because she was terrifying when angry, but she was able to some how riddle them with extreme guilt when she was sad. That feeling more so then the anger, made Taylor want to crawl into a hole and just stay there forever. She hated disappointing anyone and so she the thought that she might have been able to avoid this did not leave Taylor. She could have simply told Professor Hayes who had actually been involved, but it would have been her word against the others if they didn't follow suit and to be honest she had absolutely no idea if they would help her at all. Regardless, Taylor did not believe that anything was this bad and that nothing deserved this kind of detention. Especially seeing as she didn't do anything, other then not actually tell what had actually happened.

Still, being forced into having a detention with Ai was cruel and unusual punishment. True, she had no idea where they stood right now, but that didn't mean anything. They should surely be over all of this punishments by now. A whole goddamn year had passed! Shaking her head, Taylor blindly followed the Professor as she walked along the corridors, dropping off the students as she went. The library ended up being their destination as it turned out and Taylor could appreciate the fact that they had to clean the library with their hands stuck together, though she most certainly wasn't happy about it. There was definitely nothing she could do about it at all. What really annoyed her was the fact that Ai was basically completely absent. Again. It was not the first time she had been like this, and she had annoyed the poop out of Taylor then too. Groaning and shaking her head, Taylor decided she'd had enough of all this moping and tugged Ai backwards, ensuring that she wouldn't fall. She wasn't going to get any work done like this, so she had to do something. "Seriously, Ai. What the hell is the problem. You've been acting like a mindless drone for days!" She said, trying to keep her voice down. "Ever since the..." Prefects meeting. It made sense now really. How could she not have realised. Taylor closed her eyes and rubbed the bridge of her nose. "Are you upset about the Prefects meeting?"

Ai could have stayed quiet for days on end if she wanted to. She could have remained silent till darkness would swallow her whole. She could remain winded up in her own little world where she would be alone all day long. No one would be there. No one to approach her. No one to come near her. No one to leave her. And no one to hurt her. Maybe it would be a paradise. A lonely paradise but a paradise nonetheless. That was all the comfort the Hufflepuff needed. But apparently, a certain Gryffindor wanted to be in the way of that. Ai appreciated that someone wanted to pull her out of darkness she was wallowing in, but then again, she had to wonder if Taylor would be just the right girl to get her out of there. After all, she knew that sometimes, this girl was nuts. Not that she was any better anyway, so perhaps Taylor would do. But then again, that Gryffindor didn't really have to pull that hard. Or maybe she did. Ai had only lost her balance for a few moments but managed to regain it with ease. And then she turned her head to look at the Gryffindor.

Ai could only imagine how her eyes looked like right now. They say that eyes were the window to the soul right? She could only imagine hers looking dull, lifeless and dark. Those eyes that seemed to have lost all hope. Perhaps those were the eyes she was using to look straight into Taylor's orbs. The slightest of nods was all she gave for the moment. At one point, she wanted to scream that it was everything going on with her stupid life. At another she just wanted to say yes. It was the prefect meeting. It's a lie. And in another, she just wanted to remain silent. But now, she wanted to tell the truth. Yes. The prefect meeting was bothering her rather greatly. But there was also another thing that could not leave her mind. As if it had embedded itself permanently into her brain and memories. "He kissed me. And I kissed him back," was all she said and it was barely above a whisper that it would be a great feat should the Gryffindor hear her. Ai had barely even noticed the tears that had run down her face like flowing rivers..
