Derrik needed to get out of school. So many things were starting to pressure him, he couldn't take it. Anywhere was better than being stuck in the boy's dormitory. He had remembered about being outside and noticed the lakeside. "Perfect." he thought.

He walked as calm as he could so the other students wouldn't suspect anything. But somehow his anger or confusion gave off the impression that something was wrong. Finally he made it at the lake side. He sat on the grass and just stared out at the water.

Out of fustration he threw a rock.

Libby watched as she saw out the window of the fourth floor, Derrik outside. She ran down the stairs and out to the grounds. She looked around and found him by the lake. A little out of breath, she walked over to him. He was on his own and he look frustrated. "Hey Derrik. Are you alright?" she asked him.

Derrik was along untill he heard footsteps behind him. He ignored them until he heard a girl's voice. Then he rememered the voice. Derrik quickly wiped his face from the little tears that fell earlier.

"I'm fine." he said as his voiced quiverd. Obvisouly something wasn't good.

Libby could tell by his voice that somthing was up. She walked over to him slowly and put her hand on his shoulder. "What is it?" she asked softly, her eyes almost pleading.

Derrik took a deep breath before he spoke.

"I'm ok. It just I've got so much in my head. It drives me nuts to the point where I can't think for myself anymore."

Derrik was holding himself from letting out all of his emotions.

Libby sat down next to him and put her arm round him. "Maybe you need to talk to someone." She smiled. "What's on your mind?" she asked trying to help him.

"Thanks." he said.

"Well its just that school it starting to put a little pressure on me and its like, there isn't anything that is helping me to live with what's going on. Everything seems to be moving so fast I can't grab onto anything."

Libby listened to him, "Well, i'll help you." She offered. "School, and this one esspecially will be tough somtimes, but there will also be moments you'll remember. It's always difficult starting somthing, i should know, ive moved schools five times, but you get used to it. It won't last forever." she said.

"Well its not like I don't like the school. I love it honestly. But its like sometimes...I feel like I can't move anywhere." Derrik stared out into the ocean/lake as he ruffled his hair as usual.

"This may sound slightly weird, but i do know exactly what you mean" she said. She took a rock a threw out into the lake and sighed.

"So how it is that you can deal with all this stuff? I mean I can take so much and then I just wanna go crazy."

Derrik was starting to feel a little better now that someone else knew where he was coming from or what he ment.

Libby thought, "I dont really know to be honesst. I think if somthing big happends i mentally block it and daydream, although i do go crazy with little irritating things, like if someone reminds me of somthing i dont want to do." she was prefering to the time her dad asked her to wash up the muggle way, and libby found it annoying, just the tone of his voice. After a moment she said, "I daydream alot"

Derrik remembered how he used to day dream when he was back at home.

"I remember when i used to do that all the time at my muggle school back home. I used to get yelled at by the teachers." Derrik laughed at one of his memories.

((im gonna get going its a tad late lol. we'll continue this later of course. bye and goodnight/morning))

Libby smiled. "My brother gets really irritated by it" she said. She looked at her watch before saying, "We should get back up to the castle, it's getting late." she looked back out over the lake and sighed.

Derrik laughed.

"Yeah. I think we should go back."

As Derrik started walking back with Liberty he turned back and huged her.

"Hey...thanks for um...everything...today. I feel a little bit better now. I think its just that...I need to vent a bit every so often."

Derrik smiled. For once it was a good smile that had all his emotion in.

Libby started walking back, when she was hugged. Hugging him back she smiled, "Don't worry about it. It's what friends are for right?" she said. "Im always here if you need me" and linking arms with him, she carried on walking back to the school.
