Style: When he isn’t wearing his uniform he usually wears black jeans and a grey hoodie, if it’s cold. Otherwise some black or grey t-shirt.

A Little Deeper


Personality: David's a cynical person, it’s just his nature. Honestly, you could try to change it, but you'd get nowhere. He's not super mean, he's just critical and doesn’t believe that people do things just to "be nice". In other words, there’s always a personal gain for something, otherwise a person wouldn’t do it. He's also a bit depressed, hence his "emo" hair cut.

He doesn't get annoyed super easily, but naivety and over-cheeriness always tick him off.

History: David was born in Sydney, Australia to a Pureblood mother and a muggle father. The mother came from a large pureblood family, and her father was very angry about her choice to fall in love with a muggle. Shortly after David was born, he had had enough. David's grandfather stormed over to the young couples house, and murdered both of them in cold blood, but in his hatred, attempted to leave the child to starve on the streets.

The muggle government picked David up, put him in foster care, where he was bullied by older, rougher kids for many years. Once he reached a later age, he began to become very cynical, and at times even depressed, but he did his best to hide the depression because it was looked down upon in society. David didn't have a whole lot of friends in his orphanage, and eventually, strange accidents started happening. Other child
ren, usually bullies, would get hurt in strange ways, and David would always get the blame.

It was because of this that his cousin found him, his older cousin who was married, but had to kids of her own. She persuaded her husband to allow them to adopt her cousin, and soon began schooling him in the ways of magic, but she didn't want to send him off to school just yet. She wanted to keep him close for a few years.

David worked hard to persuade his cousin to let him go to a real wizarding school, and eventually he was allowed to apply for Hogwarts New Zealand at age 15. He hoped to be in Slytherin or maybe Ravenclaw. When he got to HNZ he was sorted into Slytherin, likely for his ambition.

Throughout his two years at Hogwarts, he made very few friends. The only person that he really considered close was Paige Rivers, a first year whom he met in his seventh year. Otherwise, he tried to stay invisible for simplicity sake. In his sixth year, he got really into writing. He enjoys freeverse poetry, and takes a more liberal stance on writing and muggle philosophy, which he also finds interesting.
