- Ivy Wand 13" Essence of Gargoyle Tooth
When Hikari woke up, it was already bright outside, and she was in her own bed.
She must have slept for six or seven hours, but her eyes felt
gritty and sore, although she didn't recall crying for long enough to produce
such effects. Sensing that she was alone in the room, she didn't bother to turn
off the lights and instead went to wash her face in the bathroom. The coolness
of the water was pleasant, and, skin still slightly damp, she wandered over to the window.
The sun was almost peering in the horizon and very bright, illuminating
everything in shades of blue, silver, and white.
The smell of the morning mist rang out strongly today. It was like the world was shrouded
in shadows, and there was no way out. the sun slowly shining through the clouds to
give a hint of hope to the world, would be the day of a great journey. Hikari
walked away from the window and started dressing for the day ahead. As each passing moment
went by, she tried to think of reasons to be happy , but her mind was blank.
The blank thought of happiness escaped my mind as she suddenly
thought of what it was going to be like, having homeworks once again,
and what more, the full moon is growing near. Eventually her despair showed
as she stopped in front of the great hall. She reluctantly stood up there and
watched as the other students began to file in. Many others dressed in the same
attire. She followed them from a distance, trying not to bring to much attention
to herself. As she walked slowly; not wanting to be one of the early bird's in class, she
thought back to her home...her real home...not this unfamiliar place. She missed it. The warm
feel of the fresh breeze in spring and the cold frisky winters that would rise
the goosebumps on her shoulders...her friends...her house...and her mom.
She missed her dearly...her sweet smell...the calm voice that always seemed to
know how to make her feel better in an instant...the food she would make never
tasted bad...and her kind, beautiful womanly nature had her smiling and wanting to become
more like her every single day. She held back the tears, not wanting to look like a crybaby.
She sighed and straightened her back, forgetting the memories and walking high held in
through the front doors of her new life. The class was quaint at best, not too
many people but enough to make her head spin.
The class went on like usual, them taking down important dates on the
history of magic, writing essays and such. She waited until the teacher exited
the room with his back hunched over. It appeared he didn't want to be there anymore
than the rest of them. She then took a deep breath as she started
packing her things back to her bag, ready to go to the library to have her homeworks done..
