THOUGHTS
Dante likes his name because it is easy to pronounce and it has a historical background, if one can count as Dante's Inferno as history. He also likes how it doesn't sound too weird, and is an actual name versus something odd like Hades or Chaos or Havoc, which his family is prone to do. He also loves his surname because of the family that he was born in, and never felt like he was an outsider - until lycanthropy occurred.
NAME HISTORY
Dante's name was one that Hades was fond of because of Dante's Inferno. Hades has a system that he uses to find names of his children, which Dante's is no different. It is the first in the family so far. That was also key for Hades to choose as well. Anastasia and Hades argued over how they would name their children, but Hades was convincing. The middle name, Xander, was chosen by Anastasia and that was because she was a fan of Alexander the Great, and Xander is a shortened version of Alexander. The origin of Styx was by none other than Kalif Styx, Dante's grandfather. After he was on the run from the Ministry, he started over with a new name, and had a clean slate. No one knows where he had gotten the name Styx from, but it represents one of the four rivers in the Underworld. So far, only their family is recognized with the last name, and most of them are pure-bloods, so it is a pure-blooded family. The surname Styx might be new branch, but it all boils down to the Zhefarovich family. The surname Zhefarovich originates from Romania and Bulgaria. However the heritage of Romanian has long since washed away. The Zhefarovich family is vast. Most of the Zhefarovich family are pure-blooded, and have laws and strict rules which they are known for, and many were either Death Eaters or associated with them. They are known for their tightness and also on how they hate muggles and anything to do with them. While allying with some other families, the Zhefarovich do control others. They are very isolated, and while some people consider them to be legendary, they are also very hostile and malevolent, and will not stop a fight until they die from it. More often than not, they keep to themselves in Bulgaria while some spread around, their main base is in a Manor where no one can access unless they know where it is, and have many other secret places.
NICKNAME
Dante currently does not have a nickname. He was called Dante all of his life, even by his parents. They were not the types to give out loving nicknames for their children. So, Dante will not answer to anything but his name, and anything else will just be an insult to him. His name could be shortened to Dan, or called Tay, but he will refuse to acknowledge either of those names.

DATE OF BIRTH
Dante was born on January 6th, 2048 at 2:13PM. He was carried to full term, and delivered naturally in the house that Hades had at the time. Anastasia did not trust Saint Mungo's. As soon as he was born, Hades threw a fit because of Dante's light blond hair, and assumed that Dante was not his. A test and confirmation with the Zhefarovich Family Tree got rid of that assumption. He apparently inherited his blond hair from his grandfather, who is also blond. Dante was an average sized baby, and very healthy. He did have trouble breathing at first, but he pulled through in the end.

DIALECTS
Dante's first language is English, though to get along with the family, he is also fluent in Bulgarian, and is currently learning Russian. Dante does struggle with Russian from time to time, and has tried to look Greek but he had failed miserably. It is evident that Dante will ever only know two languages fluently.
DIET
Dante's diet is the omnivorous diet. This is the most common diet in humans. This means that he will consume meat with almost all meals, and does not have a restriction other than what he does and doesn't like. He is a little picky - though it is mainly textures of some food that he cannot stand, such as popcorn. He cannot eat that because the texture will make him gag.
CURRENT RESIDENCE
Dante currently lives in an unplottable house in New Zealand, on the Southern Island. He resides in a muggle community because his father got in hot water and needed to lay low. Their house looks like this image. It is masked to look abandoned and inhabitable to muggles, and gives an aura to keep away. That is all by design. The house has five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The current residents are: Anastasia Katsaros, Hades Styx, Cassius Styx, Dante Styx and Samael Styx. Up until recently, Dante was forced to share a room with Samael. Now, he has his own room. One of the bedrooms is closed off permanently because it belonged to the late Varvara Styx.
HOMETOWN
Dante does not know where he was born, just that it used to be where Hades lived before he returned to Bulgaria when Kalif Styx retired as the HNZ Slytherin Head of House. Hades' old home used to be near Gisborne, New Zealand. Dante does not have too many memories of the place considering the timing, but he does remember growing up for a few years in the Zhefarovich Manor, in Bulgaria. When asked where he was born, he would just give out the country since he does not know, and Hades won't fess up the exact location.
HERITAGE
Hades is half-Russian, quarter-French, quarter-Bulgarian and Anastasia is full Greek. So, Dante is mixed with Russian, Bulgarian, French, and Greek heritage. If one wanted the exact numbers, it would be 1/2 Greek, 1/4 Russian, 1/8 French, and 1/8 Bulgarian.
BLOOD STATUS
Both of his parents are pure-blood, therefore it makes Dante pure-blood. Both families were more ancient pure-bloods though the Katsaros family is not as large as the Zhefarovich/Styx family.
THOUGHTS ABOUT BLOOD STATUS
Dante was raised to hate muggles and other's that were not fully human. This stems from Anastasia because she is very prejudice and a large supremacist. His father is a little more laid back with the views, since he is more family centric. Dante himself is more curious about those with a mixed background since he was never allowed to play with them. Before Dante was infected, he was a bit more arrogant because of his prestige background, and would love to flaunt the fact that he could have anything he wants. Now, Dante is quiet since he doesn't know if being a werewolf negates his blood status. Part of him hopes not, and that's what his older brother, Daemyn, informed him of. He clings on to this for his survival in his family.

Dante was infected by lycanthropy, so he is now a werewolf. He suffers every month of the full moon in order to transform. The week before the full moon, he becomes ill and irritable. Dante absolutely hates that he is forever cursed with such a disease, but he is aware that this is a permanent thing, and will work on getting better, one way or another.
ALLERGIES
Dante is allergic to cat and dog dander. He will sneeze and have congestion from repeat exposure. As if being a werewolf was not enough, he makes jokes in his head that he is allergic to himself.

Dante still is going through childhood so his loves are a reflection on that. He adores playing outside, no matter the weather. If it is cloudy, great! If it is raining, then he will go puddle jumping. The only weather he won't play in would be stormy weather. He does enjoy the nighttime readings, but they are children level books. He is starting to get into a horror, thriller genre. He has an affinity for loving pillows. He needed several more than what the Slytherin dorm offered! He is an animal lover. There is no animal that he thinks is useless. He does favor birds and cats. He loves to go swimming - no matter the source of the water. He also loves to run around. He loves learning, which was why he was nearly sorted into Ravenclaw! His guilty pleasure is candy. Mainly, he loves gummies. Sour is his favorite gummies.
LOATHES
Dante is not a fan of the sun because he does not tan. He burns. So, very sunny weather he absolutely hates because sun lotion smells bad to him. He will refuse to wear it because of that reason. He does not like spiders or snakes, but he won't kill them. He just won't touch them. Reptiles are similar because when they shed their shed their skin, it freaks him out. Dante is actually not a fan of bullies, which is shocking because his brother is one! Dante does not see his brother as a bully so much as someone that is just very easy to piss off and overreactive. Perhaps even dramatic. But never a bully. Dante also does not have a tolerance for really dumb people. He cannot hold back his mouth when he encounters someone he finds dumb.

Dante's boggart would be his family coming after him to kill him because he is now a werewolf. He lives in fear that one day, he will mysteriously vanish off the face of the earth because of something he could not help. Among his family members would be his little sister blaming him for her death.

If Dante were to look into the mirror of erised, he would see himself as someone who is no longer infected with lycanthropy, and he would have his sister and family together. He would be a successful candy store owner.

The worst memory that Dante has would be the night his sister was killed and when he was bitten by the out of control werewolf. He still remembers everything that happened that night. He wishes that he could have that memory erased.

STRENGTHS
Dante has a few strengths currently, but since he is still a child, they will soon show as he grows up. He has a very big imagination so he will develop more of an ability to think outside the box for problem solving. Dante is intelligent for his age, and isn't always immature. He can be understanding when it comes down to it, but he will only show it to those that he cares about. He is one of the few Styx's that actually has the strength to have sympathy and empathy to others. Dante is just choosey about when to feel it.
WEAKNESSES
Since his upbringing is a little sheltered, Dante has weaknesses in socializing and being around people in general. This has only increased since he was infected with lycanthropy. Dante does not want anyone to know about his condition and talk to his parents about it until he is ready to admit what happened. He does have a temper, so he will close up and not listen to reason when it is ignited. More weaknesses will show as he ages.
IDOL
Dante used to idolize his father, but after the bite, he now idolizes Daemyn Knight, his older brother. Daemyn came through for him in ways that he felt others couldn't, or wouldn't. Daemyn healed him and suppled him with wolfsbane. He, even now, continues to supply the potion for Dante so that he would not go without, just in case the potions professors run out of stock.
