Kairi still couldn't dress up, but she wasn't going to let that stop her. Wearing her uniform skirt and the white button up top, she'd tried to spice it up with a soft yellow ribbon under the collar and her sleeves rolled up. She'd left her hair down, trying to curl it a bit. She wasn't sure how successful she'd been, but she'd tried. She skipped into the dance and went straight for the dance floor. Daiki might show up at some point, but she was alright on her own. She twirled around on the floor, just enjoying herself and the feeling of the music thrumming on her skin.

Daiki hadn't bothered to dress up, he had no reason to. He felt too young to put on a suit and to be fancy. it wasn't something he was comfortable with and if he wasn't comfortable with it he wasn't going to do it. Daiki was moving around the hall, he was looking out for any of his friends, anyone he could talk to or interact with. He hadn't specifically asked Kairi to this dance like he had the yuleball, he didn't want to make her feel like she had to go with him if she had other plans. They were friends, but he didn't want to overwhelm her. But he did stop, and just watched her as she twirled and danced.

Kairi kept dancing, though she stopped in her spinning, stumbling a little ith a bright smile on her face as she spotted Daiki nearby. She didn't call for him, but just held out both of her hands towards him, palms down, trying to entice him forward to dance with her.

Daiki smiled as she noticed him, but didn't approach her immediately, just watched as she tried to entice him forward to dance. He let it go on for a moment before he stepped forward and began moving towards her, dancing to the music as he did so.

Kairi pouted at him until Daiki finally came over. She smiled brightly, offering out her hands for him again. "Why are you just lurking?" She teased, continuing to dance. "Silly, just dance with me." She did a dramatic little spin.

Daiki gave a little shrug, he wouldn't have minded not dancing, to just spend the time watching her, though he wasn't sure why. "I'm dancing now," he replied, beginning to really dance with her in time to the music playing.
