Amelie didn't felt the need to search for secrets in the night yet. These impressions made her tired and it was a lot so she needed her sleep. So the brunette went on lunch time to the Dungeons and began her secret search there. Amelie had no idea what she would find but she was just curious at every door and room and she wanted to try them out all. And she figured on lunch time that it was the best option so it wouldn't be very crowdy. The first weeks on Hogwarts were fine, although the brunette didn't saw her twin sisters that often. She figured in lessons they would cross their path perhaps. Amelie wanted to make new friends also and she had met her roommates already. They were fine and the brunette had asked them a million questions. Sometimes she wasn't aware of the number of words she spilled, whenever she was excited she talked fast and she couldn't help it. Amelie ment well, she was just interesting in people and their actions. But she was also curious what was behind closed doors.

The dungeons seemed like a place with many secrets. Perhaps it was just a stereotype something but Amelie wanted to try out. Were there dark creatures like she had read in the books or was it just some story? The brunette listened the silence and often enjoyed it. Amelie was fine with everything, she was the youngest of a triplet and she thought of herself as the most quiet one. Her sisters were two stubborn girls and Amelie often had to be the peacemaker. But she loved her sisters very much and she was sure that they did too. When she came to a door she looked around her and was ready to open it, but heard some noice after her.

The castle and its surroundings were all very new to the Slytherin who had been living with his parents that never had been in touch with magic, or so they said, before in their lives. That did not mean he had never had a sense of magic, felt like there was a certain presence of it. It was in the smallest things that everything could be considered magical, from the sweetness of a tart his grandmother gave him while his parents told her not to ~ to the first time of experiencing snowflakes falling from the clouded sky. Even outside of the wizarding world the magic of memories and thrilling joy was there.

Memphis had yet to make a few friends, he was sure he would eventually settle and meet some people. But it was hard at first, he did not really know what to talk about ~ he knew nearly nothing about the wizarding world. Only from the books he had been reading up until now, some information that he had been given from his first few classes ~ but that was about all he got. Thankfully he was not too bad in social situations, although you should not cross Memphis the wrong way or do him wrongly in any way if it was unnecessary. He would bite back and he would rip you to shreds if he had to, even with how young he was ~ Memphis could be as malicious as a cornered animal if someone would get continiously on his nerves.

As he was deeply sunken in his thoughts, disappearing into his own world and pretty much ignoring everything that happened around him ~ the Slytherin student noticed that he did not know these corridors of the dungeon yet. It made him stop, look around and turn another corner; try and see if it was anywhere near the entrance of the common room. Unfortunately, it was not and Memphis was afraid he might have gotten lost while thinking about everything and nothing. Fortunately, he noticed a girl. Being too pride himself, he did not ask where he was but instead asked her what she was doing around here. Due to her blue accents of her uniform, Memphis figured the rather attractive girl was from Ravenclaw. "What are you doing here??"

He knew that he should not have looked for the kitchens himself as he didn't know the castle well enough yet to walk through its corridors and hallways without his usual company of Ravenclaw boys from his dorm. His cousin had warned him not to be too curious and wander off on his own because this castle was massive and they had only been here for a couple of weeks, but with some instructions from an older student, Arcturus felt confident enough that he would find it on his own. He didn't think that the kitchens would be around here somewhere because it did not look inviting and warm at all but instead cold and dark. Arcturus wondered if he would remember the way he just came from and was about to turn back around to hopefully walk out of the dungeons when he heard a voice coming from around the corner. He peeked around the corner and saw two other students standing there - he recognised the girl from his own house but did not know who the boy she was talking to was. Arcturus smiled and walked towards them, hoping that perhaps one of them knew the way to the kitchens so he could get away from this ill-lit and chilly place. ''Hi,'' the Ravenclaw said as he approached to the two.

Professor Layton felt as though her first semester at Hogwarts was going quite well, and she'd been surprised at how welcoming her new New Zealand family had been. Leda had been the only person she'd known at the school, at least that's what she thought, and upon joining the school she found she had a little more in common with her new colleagues than she first realised. Olive was preparing herself for her third lesson with her seventh years, and exited her classroom to head down to the pantry for supplies. She still hadn't gotten used to the Dungeons herself, and very much felt as though she shared similar feelings to the small gang of young students that seemed to be gathering down here in the dark. Professor Layton wasn't intentionally listening, but they were standing close to the door she needed to get into. Olive's classroom was quite bright, but only because she had a large number of candles spread around the room. It wasn't the case in the Dungeons though, and it really was quite a murky place to spend some free time. She could understand the attraction to getting out the way of the main castle though, and exploring. At least it was safe. "Everyone alright here?" She asked, removing her wand from her robes and unlocking the pantry door, not waiting for an answer before sticking her head in and beginning to rummage around. "Can't say the dungeons were much more comforting in Scotland." she mumbled from within the cupboard. Finally she reemerged from the pantry, a large jar of billywig stingers under one arm. "Sherbet Lemon?" She asked, offering the trio the sweets from a small paper bag that had been in her pocket, popping one in her own mouth before holding them out.
