Saveli made her way from her rune reading with her friend Viviana. She felt fairly confident of what she needed to do, and as she walked down the corridor she toyed with her belly button ring. The green jewel was her own little secret, but Monty was so busy while teaching that she wasn't concerned that he would see. Deep in thought and staring down at the ring in her stomach the Blonde was not paying attention to anyone. Her quick steps eventually brought her around the corner, and straight into the arms of someone as she crashed into the sturdy frame of another student. Saveli stuck her hands out, releasing the jingling metal and holding onto the shoulders of the person as she gained her balance. "Holy sh**e I'm sorry!" She said, before backing up. She looked up at the dark haired guy, who looked mildly familiar, like she'd seen him in lessons. Though she wasn't sure, she didn't know his name after all. "Hi." She finally said, smiling up at him.

Felix was in a good mood for once, his antics with Alana under the influence of Felix Felicis had seen him have fun for the first time since his break up with Lydia and his mood had taken an up turn ever since. Ever since his break up Felix didn't like to spend time in the library but because he was in fifth year he didn't have much choice, he had to keep up with his studying and his numerous essays, fifth year was no friend to Felix. Finally he got to a place where he felt like he could actually pack up his books and left the library, he came out of the library and made his way down the corridor. Adjusting the strap on his bag he rounded a corner and felt someone slam into him. His bag fell to the ground and he held out his arms to steady the person in front of him to stop her from falling. He focused on the girl in front of him and he realised who it was. He knew she was in his year and remembered her from Potions among other classes, he realised something else too, in putting out his hands to steady her he had put his hands on her hips but rather than quickly remove them he decided to keep them there and flashed her his best smile. "Hey gorgeous, in a hurry?"

Saveli was mildly taken aback by the compliment. Lately, watching all her friends bloom and become women had made her confidence fall, as Sav was still slender - in her eyes still a girl. She grinned up, keeping her hands on his arms just as he kept his on her waist. "Me? I was, but you'e got a way of stopping me in my tracks." Saveli felt her heart flutter - she hadn't been this excited since first getting together with Niccodemus, however short lived it was. "Felix yeah? I think we've had some classes together haven't we?" She asked, eyes trained on him, unabashed at how close they were together.

Felix liked how the girl was responding to him, it was new. Lydia had been shy at first and they had blossomed slowly into a relationship. "Well, I've been told I have that effect on women, whatever it is you were dashing to I hope it can wait," He winked at her. The girl in front of him was stunning and he hadn't thought that about someone since Lydia, but he wasn't thinking about Lydia, in fact the Hufflepuff was the furthest thing from his mind. "Yes, it is Felix, like the luck potion, I reckon I'm still feeling the effects," He smiled at her looking the girl up and down. "Don't tell me, Saveli right? I know we at least have potions together, I remember seeing you in our last class, your hard to miss,"

Saveli laughed and glanced away, almost coyly. His confidence was rubbing off on her, and rankly for a moment Saveli was sure she wasn't in her right mind. There was something about the wait his hands on her waist felt though that made her think she wanted to stay for a bit - even if that risked getting caught being a little too close with someone by Monty. "Well," Saveli almost corrected the improbability, but stopped herself. It would ruin the banter they had going, so instead she replied with a smirk, and semi-suggestive tone. "How lucky are you feeling?" Her, memorable? The man knew how to play on her insecurities and he only just knew her name - Saveli wasn't thinking about that though, she was thinking about the way his strong jawbone looked, and his cheekbones as well.

Felix couldn't tell if the girl was shy or if she was just acting coy. He had to admit, when she said well he thought she was about to tell she needed to be somewhere urgency and he would have to wait. Thankfully she stopped and just smiled at him instead, he was glad she did. She had a beautiful smile. "Seeing as though I'm talking to you with my hands on your hips, I'm feeling pretty lucky, wherever we go from here I reckon I'll continue to be pretty lucky," He winked at her. "Wait, you don't have a boyfriend do you?" He asked. The whole exercise was pretty useless if she was seeing someone.

Saveli raised a blonde eyebrow at him and moved a bit closer. "I reckon I'd feel the same." The quieter her voice got the less heard her Irish accent was. At his question she shook her head. "No I don't. Why do you ask, Mister Felicious?" She spoke in a pun, jabbing at his name being the same as the potion they'd just learned about. She hoped he asked for non-innocent reasons, and that she wasn't the only one feeling the chemistry between them.

One of Felix's hands moved slightly from Saveli's hip to her back as she stepped closer to him, any closer and the pair would be touching and he wanted badly to close the gap further. She mentioned that she would probably feel as lucky, her voice became quieter and her sexy Irish accent less pronounced, which was a shame really because he did like that accent. When she asked about the intentions behind his question he dwelled a little on her little name pun. It was cute. "Why do I ask? Oh no reason," He grinned and stepped a bit closer to her. "Just if you had one I wouldn't want to be him when he found out you were about to upgrade to a far better looking and more charming guy," He continued to smile at her, the closer he got to her the more he wanted throw caution to the wind. Screw it He thought and leaned forward to kiss her.

Saveli didn't mind the close proximity to the fifth year. His body heat resonated with her naturally chilled body temperature and made the air just the right amount of humid around them. The blonde rolled her eyes upon hearing what he said about upgrading - though a confident guy was an upgrade from the guys she normally spent time with. The only unpredictable move that Fwlix made was the kiss, and Saveli didn't mind the unpredictability of her fellow class mate.

Sav tilted her head into the kiss, enjoying for a moment the heat, and the butterflies that tickled her stomach and throat. The kiss only lasted a moment before Sav had to pull away though, not having breathed in enough air and far to inexperienced to keep the kiss going. Upon pulling away she smiled again. "Well you're awfully forward." She sniggered. "Now let me do the same, since we've kissed and I'm assuming we are both single, why not go to the ball together." She asked, as forward as ever.

Felix was glad when Saveli returned the kiss, it was always good when a girl reacted positively to such a bold and risky move. Forward didn't always worked but this girl seemed to like forward. He would have to remember that. The kiss didn't last nearly as long as he would have liked but he hadn't given her much chance to prepare so the girl would need to breath. When she pulled away she did so with a smile on her face which Felix took as a good sign, if the kiss made her smile it must have been as good for her as it had been for him.

"Oh so you assume I'm single? I could just be the worlds worst boyfriend, I'm not actually I'm excellent," He didn't dwell too much on his statement as the only person who could back up such a claim had dumped him and was now dating some slimy jerk. "I'm kidding, I am single, I'd love you to go to the ball with me, I'll pick you up outside your common room, none of this meet in the entrance hall crap," He smiled at her warmly, "See, a kiss and a date, who ever said being forward was a bad thing, I hope there will be plenty more kissing at the Yule ball, maybe even some beforehand," He winked.

Saveli laughed when he made his comment. "Well i'm not above a fist fight if you're a cheater." She was only teasing, she knew better. No one would have been bold enough to say it to her face. "Sounds like you're a man who wants to show me off. Can't say i blame you." Of course Saveli was kidding, she was not as confident as she appeared, but by the second her confidence was increasing. "there will be plenty of both for us." She spoke with a wink. "I've gotta go now, see you later mister Felicious." She bid farewell and turned in time to see the black head of hair she swore was familiar. The other part of Viviana's predictions and rune readings were about him, and Saveli knew she needed to try and make their friendship work - even if she wasn't sure why it wasn't.

No longer bothering with her belly button ring she let it jingle as she caught up with Gabriel. "Hey Gabe, wait up I'm out of shape!" She yelled after him. She hoped he wouldn't blow her off. She wanted direct conversation with him, not glaring through the classrooms.

With so few classes on his schedule, Gabriel had little else to do but roam the castle, keeping his head down wherever possible. After his encounter with Finn, and then Ava, the Slytherin was skating on dangerously thin ice; and the last thing he wanted was for Lydia to discover his not-so-romantic past.

At the sound of Saveli's voice, the fifth year turned his head. A smile crept onto his lips, for though the two had not been on the best terms of late, he loved to see her. "Hey," he said, stopping as she caught up. His eyes were drawn immediately to the glinting at her navel, and he frowned. "What's this?" he asked, doubting he'd need to explain what he was referring to.

Saveli saw Gabe smile and wondered if now things would be okay. Maybe he'd been in a bad mood the first couple weeks of the semester. Saveli opened her arms up to give him a better view. "It's new, me and Viv got them done together. Her's is a puff one!" She giggled. "Her so I heard from a little birdie you got a date to the Yule. Maybe we can double it up yeah? You and Lydia me and Felix?" Perhaps, thought the blonde, things could go back to normal.

Gabriel's eyebrows raised, but he did not yet comment on the bellybutton piercing. No. His words needed to be well chosen. The Slytherin smiled, relieved Saveli was not holding any sort of grudge against him for the Finn incident. He still hadn't quite forgiven her, but he could feign happiness pretty convincingly. "Sure, why not? I'll ask Lydia, but I'm sure she won't mind." Having had some time to think about his method of approach, Gabriel said, "You will be taking the piercing out though, right? I mean, you're not going to wear it to the ball...?"

Saveli smiled. "Choice, I'll have to find Fe an let him know, he seemed pretty excited to go with me. That's a first don't you think?" She asked, in a way forgetting the way Gabe had treated wanting to go to the ball with her - but not on purpose. She looked down at her ring. "What no! I like it, don't you?" She moved side to side at the hips, letting her stomach wiggle just slightly so the metal could bounce around. "I think it's cute. Not as cute as Vivi's though." She continued. "Besides if I took it out the hole might close up." She remarked once more giving insight onto why she would take out the thirty galleon piercing.

Gabriel grimaced inwardly, slightly disgusted by the way Saveli was moving - and showing off her stomach - in public. He took her arm. "Stop it; people are staring. Are you trying to make yourself look like trash?" The Slytherin let go, trying to sound as if he were offering friendly advice, rather than belittling her. "It's hardly any wonder Felix wanted to go to the ball with you, is it? The piercing makes you look... easy." Gabriel shook his head, looking sympathetically at Saveli. "I'm sorry, Sav. It's a nice ring, but I'd worry about you showing it off like that. Guys will ogle. Anyway, I've got to run. Catch you next lesson, yeah?" Gabriel turned and began swiftly walking away.

Saveli stopped wiggling and gave an indignant look to Gabriel, yanking her arm away. "Excuse me?" She asked in an upset tone - but it didn't stop Gabe from dashing her confidence word by word. Easy. Trash. Saveli swallowed her confidence and it dropped low into the pit of her stomach. Her eyes which were once alight now dull and water brimmed at her tear ducts. "See ya." She spoke, trying not to look as hurt as she was. Gabriel was probably right. Fe had only asked her to the ball after they'd kissed. And she barely knew him when they did. Maybe she was easy. She thought back to Monty assuming she'd slept with Gabe the night she'd stayed out at his - and a tear slipped past her cheek. Was she really that bad? Slowly Saveli's feet carried her away, down to the only place she could think to go when she was troubled or felt low.
