Layla grinned "well you got me didn't you? I can promise you that would be something that James Bond could never do" she watched him and listened to him speak, for some reason the sound of his voice made her feel calm and safe, but also curious, she knew there was alot more to Chase that she hadn't yet discovered, but she was very keen to spend lots of time finding all that stuff out.
she decided to shrug off his comment about the girl next door as a joke, and giggled "trust me, the people I actually live next to are well and truly fed up off it, see the constant argument that me and my dad have mean that they hear an awful lot of it, mostly yelling some interestingly colourful comments at my dad from behind my bedroom door."
She felt the warmth of his hand against her cheek and smiled, pushing her face against it a little more and closing her eyes for a second, his touch was just so warm and felt so right, she smiled once Chase had removed his hand she copied the gesture gently placing her hand on the side of his face her one finger gently followed his cheek bone "you know, I can safely say the same about yours, and I hope that I will get to see a whole lot more of it" she smiled kissing him gently but quick on the lips, she was starting to think that she could possibly maybe even love this boy. Snap out of it girl! she yelled in her head. you have only just met the boy, she knew it made absolutely no sense at al but frankly she didn't give a monkeys.
Layla blushed a little when Chase was talking about her eyes, she realised that she had been blushing an awful lot tonight, but hoped that once she got used to being this way with a boy, and by boy she meant Chase and Chase only, that it would be a less regular occurrence, she locked eyes with Chase it almost felt like electric between them, she was not going to be the one to break eye-contact this time, she smiled, she saw happiness in his eyes, a look that she knew would be reflected in her own. She blinked, fearing that if she looked in his eyes any longer she would cry with joy.
"this is definitely fairy-tale material" she agreed her heart skipped a beat thinking about what the three words could be, she smiled when her said 'happily ever after' typical boy she grinned "I can think of three other words that I think might describe how I'm feeling right about now" she smiled if he wasn't going to say it then maybe she might just have to do it for him, although she decided to gauge his reaction first before she decided whether or not to say her three words.
