Open Coming Out of the Stone Age

In all honesty, putting on this costume had all been last minute if she was being honest. Marley had been so busy with her responsibilities she had almost forgotten about the Halloween feast. She had found some fabric from the art room at the last minute and decided to put something rough together. She wasn't the best when it came to fashion, but Marley wasn't going to miss out on the Halloween dance. The Hufflepuff made her way to the great hall and smiled at how cool everything was decorated. There were plenty of things to do, but she quickly made her way to the dragon piñata, she was definitely going to hit the thing. "Does anyone wanna hit this thing first? Or shall I?" Marley called out to the people around. Marley was definitely ready to hit it.

Ivy enjoyed dressing up for Halloween. This year she had gone with a simple costume, a little red dress and some wings and horns. She entered the hall and looked around there were a few activities like always. one thing that caught her attention was a dragon hanging from the ceiling. She wasn't sure exactly what bread it was, she would have to ask her brother or aunt. or maybe it was just a generic dragon. She was surprised to see that there weren't too many people there. just one cave girl who she recognised as Marley the Hufflepuff captain. "You're the beater, I believe it is your job to hit things with bats" she said joining the queue behind her.

Marley grinned as one of the younger girls spoke up, she had recognised the girl on the Gryffindor team, but Marley felt bad for not knowing the girl's name, she wasn't the best with names if she was being honest. The Hufflepuff grabbed the stick they were supposed to hit the piñata with. "Say no more!" Marley says with a giggle before she gave the piñata a hit. The piñata had a bit of damage but no lollies had come out, as to be expected when it came with the first hit. "Here! You're turn!" Marley says with a grin as she hands over the stick to the younger girl.

Ivy watched as Marley gave the dragon a hit. and didn't get much success. she was not suprised it was not a good piñata that broke on the first go. "nice try. remind me never to upset you on the pitch" she said before taking the stick from her. she looked at the dragon sizing it up before she let out a rather hard swing and thwack. the dragon swung, on its string but didnt break. she looked around it seemed no one else had joined the queue. "do you want another go" she asked ovffering the stock back to marley

Marley laughed out loud at the girl's comment. "I promise I'm not dangerous" Marley says jokingly with a shake of her head. The Hufflepuff wasn't even sure how hard she had hit the piñata but it didn't seem that hard that the piñata hadn't broken free yet. Marley watched as the younger girl hit the piñata, with that hit it hadn't broken free yet, which was a good thing Marley guessed as this was a tough piñata to break. The Hufflepuff looked around as she noticed no one else had lined up when the younger girl had asked if she wanted to hit it. Marley smiled and shrugged before gently getting a hold of the stick. "Sure!" Marley says happily, before she gave the piñata a whack. She watched as the piñata swung back and fourth, only a little bit of damaged had happened.

Ivy giggled as marley said she wasnt dangerous. "are you sure. and you are not trying to trick me. my brothers were hufflepuffs. i know the sort" she teased. though she doubted lin or cas would ever try and trick anyone it was fun just chatting to the older girl.
She watched as Marley swung again and noted it did seem to have some effect. "nice work. one more good hit and you might get some lollies" she said.
