Tabitha had decided that even though she had just had two months away from school she was still not ready to go back to classes. Honestly what would they be doing on the first day anyways? So when students had started to file out the great hall she hung back for a few minutes, and then started to wander the castle as if she was headed to class. When Tabitha had been a first year she took as much time as she could to explore every nook, and cranny of the castle. During one such adventure she had found a bathroom where it was obvious that nothing in here had worked in a long long time. That bothered Tabitha a little bit. A school full of magic, and no one had fixed it yet? Obviously there was something strange about this bathroom. Tabitha had given up on figuring out what herself, but she still liked to come here, and relax sometimes.

Tabitha rooted through her backpack for a few seconds, and fished out a comic book before dumping her bag on the ground. The young girl hopped up on the sink counter, and began reading. Her mother was working more now, and her muggle friends didn't talk to her anymore so she had taken up reading over the summer, and had found comic books much more palatable then regular books. At the moment she was reading yet another rewrite of the X-Men series.

Mason Greene was perhaps one of the luckiest guys on the planet. Unlike Matt, Mason thought that having his sister and dad back into his life was one of the best things in the world, despite not remembering his sister. Madison Greene was a Hufflepuff too, and seemed to really like this one guy that was out of the school now. Not graduated but his dad moved him. Whatever, he wanted to get on with classes and hurry back into the world of magic. Mason slung his bag over his shoulder and made his way through the corridors, looking for a place to hide out. He might have had a few friends, but two of them were always at his side, and he wanted some time to make new friends too. Plus, Katrina and Lucretia were often scary, and scared people away. So, he was venturing off on his own, and hoped that Matt could keep the twins company for now. Plus, Mason was starting to have butterflies around one...

His brown eyes spotted the three that he did not want to see, which caused him to duck into the nearest room, which happened to be the antiquated lavatory. However, as soon as his feet hit that slippery floor, they soared from underneath him and into the air. "Whoa!" Mason cried out as his back collided with the floor, with a pretty rough landing. Mason rubbed his face with his hand, hoping no one saw. He was clumsy as ever. He looked over to the side and up, and noticed that someone was reading. From this view, he had no idea that they were reading something so cool. "Oh. Hello there," greeted the Hufflepuff with a smile.

Tabitha's face was practically touching the comic as she read it. It was The Dark Phoenix saga, and she couldn't put it down. She was so engrossed she didn't even notice the boy stumbling in until he yelled out as he fell to the floor. Tabitha dropped her book, and jumped up from the counter. "Um, hi. Are you okay?!" she asked startled. It looked as if he wasn't bleeding so that was good. The last thing she wanted to do was have to take someone to the hospital wing, and come up with a reason for not being in class. Tabitha recognized the boy as one from her year, but they had never really talked. He was in another house, and she spent a lot of time in the Gryffindor common room. Tabitha reached down to help the boy up, "You know this bathroom doesn't work right? So if you really need to go you might wanna start running somewhere else." Tabitha warned him. She wanted to clean up a puddle even less then she wanted to go to the hospital wing.
