Comforting

Kate walked beside the rosebush.This had begun to come her place of refuge.She just found it so peaceful and beautiful.She remembered before the holidays being here with Willow discussing music.How much things had changed.She was now underweight and hadn't spoken to her friends since the first day.Kate's hair and eyes were dull and she had heavy bags under her eyes that she tried to hid under make up.She knew she was being dramatic but it was just so unexpected and hurtful what Stefan had done.She blamed him but she knew it was her own fault that she was like this.She could of just dissed what he said and moved on but that wasn't like Kate she was used to everything being great and happy and she had never been hurt like that before.This pain and hurt shouldn't have come to her until she was in her middle and late teens and maybe she would of been able to cope with it better but she was only twelve and a twelve year old shouldn't experience these feelings.But what was done was done and all Kate could do was try and get back on her feet which she knew was going to be hard to do by herself.But she couldn't just go back to her friends and ask them to help her she didn't deserve them or her family.Sighing she sat down shakily and put her headphones from her ipod into her ears and started to sing quietly to the song while closing her eyes.

 

[Anna Lasten]

Anna walked through the garden. It was beautiful, no doubt it would inspiration for a song, but her mind was elsewhere. Not everyone at HNZ was great apparently, at least, not according to Ryan. Ever since Ryan had told Anna about his sister acting depressed Anna had thought about the girl. She didn't know her, and didn't think she would meet her, but came up with scenarios in her head to cheer up Kate. As she thought about how worried Ryan looked she saw a girl that appeared a tad bit older than her. She stopped, seeing a great deal of similarities between the girl and Ryan. Anna tilted her head to examine the girl, and hoping that this was the right twin, walked up to her and tapped on her shoulder. "Are you ok?" She said, voice filled with concern.

Kate didn't hear someone come into the area.It wasn't until she felt a tap on her shoulder did she look up.The person she saw she didn't recoginise.She didn't really want to talk to anyone but she had heard the note of concern in the girls voice.Sighing she took out the headphones and put them away slowly as her hands were shaking.She then patted the place beside her. "Hey I'm Kate and you are"She asked in her most happiest voice she could muster.
