Come on darling. For me?

Abby glanced at her children anxiously. One was breathing normally, playing with dolly. The other was wheezing in her snug pram. As Abathyn waited in the cool, clean waiting room, Laani coughed again, weaker this time. "Come on Laani darling, breathe please." No trace of panic, no worry. Abathyn's feelings were masked, as usual. The infant's eyelids fluttered, her forehead burning up. Abby picked her child up from the stroller, rocking Laani gently as Jaimee played. It was late at night, way past both children's bedtimes. Abby was going to fall asleep if she had to wait any longer.

Looking at her watch, Abby began to worry. No healers, no staff. A silent baby, not even crying. Laani's chest rose slightly every few minutes, Jaimee lay asleep at her feet. The small family was patient, united in hope.

It was the water that did it. Poisoned by a simple mistake. Abby's magic nevered faulted her, why did it have to now? The bathwater looked normal, how was Abathyn supposed to know? Any now Laani was sick. An irreversable mistake.

Guilt was a funny thing. Even if one never feels guilt, they will someday. Eventually memories will come back at the wrong time... like when you're filling a bath.

Abathyn stood suddenly, waking Jaimee. The girl sat up dazed, rubbing her eyes. Laani was wheezing more and hardly breathing. "Ex-excuse me. Are we able to be seen yet? Abby's voice faltered from lack of use as she asked a passing healer the important question. Abby expected apologies, a fast examination, life support, funerals... no. That wasn't going to happen.

Elliott was doing his usual rounds, when he caught the attention of a patient mother. He was working late tonight, but thanks to Rosie care services he hadn't much to worry about his own child and was able to tend the need of another. "How long have you been waiting?" he asked the woman while looking down another chart. He was always glancing down paper work, no matter who he was talking to, he still had the ability to listen and read at the same time. Though he still looked up just in case his service was he needed, most patient didnyb trust you enough if you weren't looking at them while they were expressing their concern. "It seem like a long time" he swiped her chart from the counter once the medical administrater notice he was talking to Ms. Dalmoir. "I'm Elliott Woods, so it looks like I will be your healer for tonight, ma'm come with me" he said with a professional face, escorting to the nearest emptied room, having all the patient in the world if needed to be.

((At this point Laani is about 3 months old. Ish.))

Abby gulped. "It must have been a while... an hour? Or more..." Abathyn hadn't kept track of the time, although now that she thought about it she probably should have. What if something had happened? Loosing track, Abby absent-mindedly rocked Laani in her arms as Jay sat confusedly. She didn't realize that the healer had begun to walk away until her was nearly through the door. Hurredly the mother picked up child-number-one and placed her in the pram with her toys. Laani was burning up even more. Strolling efficently into the white hospital room, Abby glanced at the healer. "She's, not doing it right. Something happened, water, wand, bathroom, cave, Laani, toys, Melodie, banana..." Abby was rambling now, not noticing that she was talking to the worst form of species; man-kind. She stood awkwardly in the doorway, beginning to panic. "She'll... be okay, right?" The colour was draining from Abby's face, one of the most important things in her life was in danger.

Elliott gather the small sick child in his hand, while the cart floated right next to him. "What exactly happen?" he asked while
Placing the child on the hospital mat. He was careful by the way he was holding her and examining Laani from head to toe. With the security bed up, he let the child rest while collecting a vile from the cabinet nearby. It sort resemble muggel medicine but with a lot savored flavor a child wouldn't mind taking. The potion was sweet but not bitter, he went back to the bed were the child laid. Giving her a little bit of the potion, this help calmed down whatever fever she was encounting. At least for the mean time it did, till Elliott figure out what happen. "Would you like to explain?" he said while taking the chart and holding the quil again to take down notes for St.Mungos records.

Abby couldn't explain. She hardly knew what'd happened, it was almost a dream. Anxiously, she muttered "She, I swallow. The, bathwater... will she be okay?" Jaimee was tugging on her mother's dress but the woman didn't notice.

Elliott faced looked complex trying to make out what the woman was saying. He stood by the infant again, she needed to stay over night but she looked as if she has some symptoms of pneumonia. "She will need to stay here Ms. Dalmoir" he said while writing her information down now. "Your daughter look as if she has pneumonia, not completely but it looks like it" he said with more concern in his voice than before. "She will probably need an IV and a shot to calm the symptoms down" this wasn't always easy for Elliott, even in the wizaring world, things take time to process. "Do you have family? Or some sort that may help you with your daughter?" he asked her while gesturing for her to sit down.

"It was the water." Abby said in a clear, small voice. "Something happened when I filled the bath. I don't think it could be pneumonia." Abby still wasn't making much sense, but she sat down anyway, noticing her other daughter and picking her up. "Will Laani be all kays?" Jaimee asked, fear in her voice. Of course. This would be even tougher for her. Abby cuddled her daughter anxiously.

“Well the temperature she has, possibly will lead it to pneumonia” he said clearly stating this time. “What was your daughter doing in the water? Most infant should be bathing in the sink or cloth down Miss?” he asked suspiciously. Elliott didn’t want to think badly of the woman, she looked to be a fit mother but appearances weren’t always everything. But if he had to, he would more than likely called child services. He waited for what she had to say, but maybe not. He didn’t want to take extreme measure right away.

"My family, we all stick to the bath. Theres a hammock type... thing, that I put in the bath and it keeps her at a good height while Jaimee sits at the other end." Abathyn's voice was cool and curt, knowing that she was right. "Laani sw- she swallowed the water. It was purely an accident, she was only in the bath for a minute, not long at all." Abby suddenly realized that if she exlplained any more of the truth she'd be in Azkaban for attempted murder.

"I see" Elliott said writing this all down. "Was the window open at any time when she swallowed the water?" he asked her. He wasn't taking her word directly but he had no other choice but question her down to the bone. "What was you doing while she was in the tub? Were you near the tub? Miss. Dalmoir this is likely to be accident, but I must warn you extreme measure will be taken if this happens again" he said while writing this all down. "But she looks fine" he said right after.

((ohmygosh my last post was stupid))

"I was getting Jaimee ready for her bath, and no the window was closed." Abby sat up straighter, regaining a bit of sophistication. "I know there'll be issues if it happens again. But I'm handling it."

"Getting Jamiee ready for a bath while handling Laani?" it made more sense now, but still he was a tad concern either way. "Let's just let her rest for a while, and see what happens. There a pull out bed if you want to rest as well" he kept going on about what she could have or possibly may end up getting. With the weather change, and the drop of a infant child. Its serious enough, but he already gave her a fair warning to go by. "Be careful next time Ms. Dalmoir, I would hate to see you lose your kids for accidents like this" he said reaching across the desk and giving her hand a gentle squeeze. "But everything will be alright"

"Thankyou..." suddenly Abby was exhausted, she could almost fall asleep at the desk. Jay had fallen asleep on her lap as the questions went on, and Abby wasn't sure if she wanted to move her. Abby suddenly made up her mind. It was too hard to be in hiding with the kids there.

Elliott stood up leaving her to rest while another healer came in to watch over the infant child. He left her records next to the woman, but the other healer took over by reading the infant past medical history. Elliott had to get back into the lab, to do further testing on her conditions.

Hours passed when Elliott reenter the room. He witness the child still sleeping on her mothers lap and the infant still laying while another healer tend to her needs. "Ms. Dalmoir?" he said clearly for her to hear. "Dalmoir" he said again. The woman was sure pretty but he could tell the stress line in her face. Maybe he was little to hard on her before, but still children always came first before the parents. Maybe a little help would do her good.

Slowly, Abathyn began to wake. She realized where she was and moved from her slouched position suddenly, shaking her head experimentally to try and work out what'd happened. She glanced at her bed to make sure her baby was safe, then shifted the now awake Jaimee onto the floor. "You, wha- what happened." Abathyn couldn't remember, she was literally half asleep.

"Nothing. Your child find, if you would like to go home it can be ranged in no time" Elliott came out with a muggel prescription it was a inhaler just in case baby Laani needed to use it. "Here you go and the dispatch will give you instruction just in case something worst happen, you know fevers or ear aches" Elliott explained and hopes the woman understood everything. "I'm clear? Any question you like to ask?" he said before leaving for her to get ready to depart.

Abby decided she would really like to go home. "Sure..." she stood up, carrying her daughter and took the inhaler. "Thankyou." she said softly. Abathyn had been so certain that she was going to loose her baby, and was now so relieved that she felt as if she could fly. She took one last glance around the room and smiled. "No questions, I'll just be going then." Abathyn smilingly took her children back towards home, realizing just how lucky she was.
