It was summer, and the warmer weather had finally arrived. Angela had found the new found warmth to be perfect for trying out her new summer dress, and proudly walked through Brightstone, with her tan bag in one hand and an ice cream cone in the other. it wasn't too warm, only about sixty five Fahrenheit; so Angela had been smart and also worn her jacket. Back home Kairi was with a babysitter, one that Angela had come to trust over no other person. Her cousin, Skyle. it was more like it was Skyle's turn to take Kairi, but since they both had an equal part in the young child's life now, it didn't really seem pertinent to say they were sharing the girl.

Angela's thoughts enveloped her so, that much like when she was a child, she found herself lost. Not really terribly lost, but unsure on whether she was supposed to turn left or right to exit Brightstone. She looked down both options, but as she recalled it was a fair distance. One led her to an area that was less than wholesome; and the other took her out and onto the cobblestone that led to her front door. Angela was nearly going to flip a coin when she heard steps; and turned to see a man who seemed to be walking with purpose, as if he knew where he was going. Angela had recently learned that swallowing er pride was a good thing, and the young, ex-ravenclaw approached the man. Her throat clearing noise seemed to be enough and then she ask, "I'm sorry to bother you, but I've been turned around. Which was to leave?" Hopefully she was clear enough, though Angela didn't mind clarifying if it was needed.

Kennedy loved the warm weather. It gave him to opportunity to wear tanks tops and shorts. He had recently become a Hit Wizard, and he was proud of himself. It had always been his dream to be one, and now he was. Jazmine had taken him out to dinner to celebrate, and Klaus had given him a gruff, "Good job." It mattered not to the eldest Smile child. He was still new to his job, so he always changed from robes to muggle clothing. Robes were too hot for this kind of weather. This was his regular attire. It was free, and it showed off how many he was! He was walking home, and he was ready to plop down and go to sleep. He had completely underestimated the effort it took to work in the Ministry. Things were always so busy.

Kennedy was getting ready to turn when a woman spoke to him. It was not easy to get lost in Brighstone. It was small and busy. Kennedy looked around, and he pointed to the right. "You go that way to leave." he told her simply. He thought about offering to escort her, but that reminded him too much of when he met Ruby. He was a very nice fellow, and he would go out of his way to make someone feel safe. "Do you need anymore help?" He had a feeling they were both going the same way. He needed to leave Brightstone too. He had just come to have dinner. He did not want his mother to have to cook something for him. He was banned from ever using the kitchen. He was a disaster when it came to cooking.

Angela didn't always ask for directions, and the last few times hadn't turned out as well as this seemed to be turning. She gave a grin to the rather attractive man in front of her, but she needed to keep those thoughts out of her head. After all, she was no longer a party girl. She had to remember her niece, and her family in general. Her features remained soft though, glancing over him to admire the outfit. She really liked his shoes, as the colors were bright and cheerful. Her aqua colored eyes then met his brown ones, the smile widening on her lips as he pointed her the right direction. She only hoped that she didn't seem too dense, after all, her thoughts had gotten her into this mess. She truly needed to stop thinking deeply while she was travelling. "Thank you!" She answered him sweetly, glancing in the direction he had pointed her. something about being pointed in the right direction only added to Angela's reminiscing of her time here as a young girl. She tried to remember it fondly, though it was clear that there was not just fond memories.

Angela then turned back to the man whom had pointed her in the right direction. "I don't really need anymore help..." Her sentence trailed off though and she shrugged inwardly. What the hell, she thought, why don't i invite him. "But, if you're heading the same way I am, I wouldn't be opposed to a little company." She offered, her voice light and carefree. She only hoped that he saw it as innocently as she did. Though, he was rather good looking, and Angela wouldn't have minded if he saw as more. Stop it Ange, you know better. She thought to herself. Her brain was going to get her into more trouble than she could actually handle. It used to do it quite often, especially around Teddy, whom had been the majority of the reason she had decided to travel away from New Zealand for so long. That wasn't her main focus at the moment though, and she shifted her bag from one arm to the other while awaiting his response.
