🌹 Rose Giving come and get it

It was perhaps - depending on who you ask - unfortunate for everybody involved that Theo often had plans that involved grandeur. It was also - depending on who you ask - unfortunate that he was only given a few deliveries for the event of the season. He would have happily delivered quite a few more, really. He was quite excited to deliver this one though since he recognized the name; it was one of Mr. Brotherhood President's pretty little friends. And a red rose too, which was just perfect. "Miss Audrey Beauchamp," he called out really loudly when he finally saw her in the Great Hall. "Red rose for you," he said, grinning before putting the very long stem in between his teeth and opening his arms wide. "Come and get it," he said, though it came out quite muffled. Who knew it would be hard to speak with a rose in one's mouth? And then he clapped his hands at the side of his head before giving quite the theatrical bow.

Audrey adjusted the flower crown she'd painstakingly - and amateurishly - made on her head. She had, thankfully, removed the thorns, though at not insignificant danger to her fingers. When she'd agreed to work with Teddy in putting this together, she hadn't considered how much time it was going to take. She sighed, wiping a bit of sweat off her brow but jolting as she heard her name. She knew she was getting a couple of roses, so that wasn't entirely a surprise (even if she had avoided reading the notes despite her burning curiosity).

What was a surprise, though, was the way this red rose was delivered. She had heard a little bit about Theodore Nightray, and Audrey certainly couldn't deny the charm even if he did look a little silly. She relaxed, giggling as she stepped closer with her hands behind her back. "Oh, my, for little old me?" She exaggerated each step, deliberately slowing her movements. "Is this where I ask you to drop it like you're a dog with a stick, or is this where I grab it with my teeth?" She was at least decent at putting up a bit of bravado - she might've opened up a hole in the floor and sunk into it if it was, in fact, the latter.

Ooooh, someone willing to play. It wasn't quite as common to find here as it was back home. He was always willing to play and put on a show, and there wasn't much he was unwilling to do for the sake of having a crowd. It was interesting to find someone in New Zealand that someone was willing to play along much like Aura - those his little darling can't quite do that anymore since she's started to chase her man. He nodded, smirk on his face as he kept the rose stem between his teeth. "I could do either, but I do have a preference for the latter," he said, amusement lacing his tone as he wondered what she would do. "Here's the note though for now," he said as he raised his hand, note squarely in between his index and middle finger.​

Audrey was actually pretty impressed at how quickly Theodore had cultivated a little bit of a reputation around the school. He'd only been here one semester. "Hmm," she muttered, clasping her hands behind her back and leaning in. There was a slight tremble to her hands, and she leaned closer...only to move her head to grasp the note from his hand with her teeth. She grinned, moving a hand to take the note, and then nervously leaned back in to take the rose. She did, however, try to keep her mouth as far away as possible. If the reputation was even half as true as it seemed to be, he'd been flirting with a heck of a lot of people before her. Plus, Theodore wasn't the lead singer of a band.
